[OOC] Call of the Hunt [EliteCommander and Muttonhawk]

So, the big things that are left are Do'rhajul, claiming the axe, the assault, and an epilogue. With those, the end of the story is getting fairly close. I have to ask, what do you intend to do once this story is over? Just curious.

Hmm. I haven't thought about it too closely. I suppose I might invest a bit more time into Divinus II, the god RP I'm co-GMing. Maybe find another 1x1 to do.

It'll be quite strange saying goodbye to this, though. It's been around for so long.

Is there a thread for recording completed RPs somewhere? I feel like I want to hang this up on a wall somewhere. What we've got is the biggest 1x1 on the board for post count as far as I am aware.

I haven't thought much about it either. Great that it will actually go to completion though. I did not expect it to go 4 years, and it might be slightly my fault that it did. I think I let some things go on too long, maybe added parts that weren't necessary. Regardless, I think next time I go into a 1x1, I will start with a sort of beginning, middle, end in mind. This one has been great, though, and I have put a lot of thought into the last parts. A few ways it can go, though. Haven't set anything in stone.

Oh, I don't think the length of time has been a particularly bad thing. Plus, hindsight is 20/20 with regards to certain elements. I've learned and improved a lot in my own writing in that time, especially with long-term narrative choices. Tasting the cheese in romance and tragedy plots is something I needed to do the hard way, I think.

Honestly, I'm more amazed that neither of us disappeared in that time.

I forget, is Karl blind, or was that someone else?

He's not blind, but he's chronically short-sighted, so he can't focus on anything beyond about 40 centimetres from his eyes.

Are the council as a whole aware of Ahnasha's necromancy skills?

[EliteCommander]

Yes, to varying degrees. Marcaille and Saras would know for certain, and the others would have heard rumors about her abilities from the times that she has used them in front of allies. However, there are many true and false rumors that spread through the clans about what the Champion's pack can do, so they might not know for certain what is true.

We can probably have the group with Meesei move to Thorn.

If you'd like to keep going with Fendros and Ahnasha, feel free to skip forward to wherever in their evening. I imagine the dance event would be an open floor with the occasional group dance added in, jaunty music, lots of fun and drink. I just figured they'd be focussed on enjoying themselves, so there's not really anything that needs a play-by-play unless there's something extra plot event added to it.

Would you say they would both likely end up going through an evening of heavy drinking?

I would say so, yes.

We could probably start to bring them to the end of their evening.

I didn't really have much else to skip to. Did you want to play out Sabine and Meesei getting clued in on the plan? Where should we skip to next?

I think I shall take us to the point where they get back to Darahil, check on his progress, and make their final decision on which reinforcements to use. I imagine that will be a short scene.

Ugh, I almost forgot about the plan of Sabine doing a flyover. If she won't get much more information than you've already provided, I can edit my post to extend it and start the main phase of the plan properly.

I had a thought in the shower that could take the story in an interesting direction, but it might shake up this mission a bit. I'll have it come in near to the end of this sneaky mission unless something else happens in the meantime.
