@The Fated Fallen I've had a few clubs suggested to me by family members, but as it happens, there aren't any Warhammer stores within my town, at least as far as I'm aware, which sucks because that'd be what I'm particularly interested in if anything.

I'd look up and google local video game clubs or cons or get togethers. This past june I went to a con in my city and entered into a room where people were having a Dragon Age discussion, and by the end I found out many of them were in a get-together Dragon Age group that met up sometimes.

So I saw that this is in Apply status, and I'm wondering if y'all are accepting new blood. I'm already reading through the initial OOC post to get an idea of what's going on but with so many posts in the IC, I'm hoping I could get some bullet points on relavent details I should know if I'm hoping to get a character into the mix.

*Also* I saw the blurbs from @BCTheEntity on the last page about getting more interaction and being in a similar situation having moved into a new city without really knowing anybody and getting out there, I'd say that aside from hobby clubs, you could also try something new! I personally am taking dance lessons and cooking classes come October. There's lots of people to meet, you're improving on a new skill, and it can be real fun!

Great to hear Poohead and I look forward to it Fallen, thank you very much! After I get that summary I'll prolly start sending you some PMs to help get my character solidified. I've got some ideas already but I like having working around the setting as opposed to having to force a square peg into a round hole so to speak. :P

And now (cracks knuckles) what has been long overdue

So. First of all we were all recruited by an Elven Princess lady. She was like "Shits going down so sort it out please thanks." and wasn't really any more sympathetic.

Then after some fumbling with characters who unfortunately left we reached a village that had been slaughtered. We pretty quickly got attacked by a horde of 'Rogs' (weird small fuzzy raider folk) and after keeping the undertaker in business we fled underground. We've been strolling through that tunnel for a short while and have come across a dwarven forge buuuuut... (dun dun duuuuun) it's been taken over by Dark Elves. We haven't met any Dark Elves yet but probably will soon.

And that's about that, not as much as you thought right?

Thanks a ton for the quick recap. Work's been keeping me pretty busy this week due to some unforeseen issues but over the weekend I'll start PMing Poohead to begin hashing out a character. ^_^
