A highly advanced mimetic camouflage suit that allows Darksiders to blend in to almost every background. It also hides the already insignificant heat signature of darksiders, and the helmet allows them for breathing both underwater and in a vacuum. Furthermore, the N.E.T.O also has grappling devices and gecko-like clingpads attached to the hands and feet, allowing for vertical movement of troopers.

Standard issue monomolecular combat blade. Requires caution to draw and wield.

Farscythe sniper rifles. Using standard dart-throwing technology, it's silent and almost pinpoint accurate.

Pointscythe flechette gun. Whilst best at short ranges, due to the flechette nature of it, it is also very useful at medium and long ranges, although with a dramatic drop in accuracy and penetration. Dead silent.

The best thing that infantry have against anything with any sort of armour. The Hellscythe is a high-powered rail rifle that, instead of throwing darts, uses electromagnetically accelerated 'bullets' that can punch straight through most armour. Makes a very distinctive whining noise before firing.

Well... Not quite the only thing. The hollowblast causes enemy vehicles to implode thanks to launching compressed gravity charges that 'explode' in an extreme gravity field that causes the area around them to collapse in on themselves. This field will fizzle out after around 20-30 seconds, long enough to kill crew and often rip out the entire insides of a vehicle. Do NOT set off near infantry. The effects are not pleasant.

Standard issue assault rifle for soldiers. Dart throwing, semi-automatic, silent and lethal. Very good against lightly armoured soldiers, sort of shit against everything else.

Capable of carrying 15 infantrymen and their equipment into battle, and with front-mounted machine guns. The vehicle runs off of a hydrogen engine that procudes minimal noise, and the vehicle also has crude mimetic camouflage, useful against aerial spotting, but not much else.

Highly manoeuvrable, the Stalker requires only two soldiers to man it, using a neural uplink system to ensure pinpoint accuracy despite extreme high speeds. This means that the stalker is highly effective at dogfighting and ground strafes against light vehicles, but has extremely poor performance against heavily armoured foes.

Designed for speed rather than safety, the whisper has muffled rotors and a disruptive camouflage in order to get around 20 troops to wherever they are needed in the battlefield as fast as possible.

A weapons platform often rigged to Shockwaves, the Pariah is a heavy duty weapons platform that can provide accurate anti-aircraft and anti-armour capabilities to soldiers. It is highly vulnerable to damage however, and as such has also been equipped with the N.E.T.O's Mimetic camouflage abilities.

Hydrogen powered, mimetically camouflaged against aerial spotting and bombardment, and with twin blacklance anti-armour cannons. It's a tank, but one that you almost never see coming.

Holding a singe Darksider and with much superior rough terrain capabilities, the Stalker is the only vehicle in the Darksider arsenal with the same camoflauge abilities as the N.E.T.O Suit. Combined with minimised blacklance cannons, it's a lethal light-to-medium vehicle killer, and with mounted machine guns, it also ably destroys soldiers.

Comprised of nothing but Utaku Battle Maidens, their Ki-Rin steeds and their Shugenja Travelers. The Battle Maidens often wear light armor or specialized riding armor for easier movement on horseback. The type of Ki-Rin ridden varies, though there are only 4 types, Earth, Fire, Wind and Water.

The Dragons were born from the primal stuff that existed before the universe was created, born into substance as was all else. Each embodied a concept, and drew its power from the existance of that concept. First among the dragons were those born of the elements:Air,Earth,Fire,Water, and Void. They were the mightiest of all dragonkind, and in their wake followed their sibling Dragon of Thunder, born of the storm and the fire within the hearts of men.

Incase you were wondering, yes… they can use magic and if they really wanted to they could use weapons. But I mean… they’re dragons who can do cool shit, why would they be carrying a katana?

Shugenja were the priests and scribes of Rokugan, as well as the envoys of the fortunes and kami and the keepers of their clans' secrets. They were able to create powerful spells by offering prayers which were written upon scrolls called ofuda.The magic of the shugenja was drawn from one of the five elements: Fire, Air, Water, Earth, and Void. While all Shugenja can use all the elements, with the exception of Void, they all have a specialization.

Daughter of Seppun Kogan, Seppun Akari is not exactly a MockZ, in fact, she is an actual human being who simply joins the Shugenja in battle as their ‘General’. Trained by the Kuni, her forte is Earth Magic, yet thanks to her travels she is able to improvise spells with relative ease, merging elements to create secondary effects.

Yojimbo and Love interest of Seppun Akari, Akodo Saito is a fiercly loyal and extremely honorable Lion Clan Bushi. Said by many to be a protege, he is well verse in the ways of his Clan’s Kata and overall Techniques of the Akodo dojo. He has a confidence in his skill that often boarders on Bravado and doesn’t back down from a challenge no matter who his opponent may be. Also, NOT a MockZ and the ‘General’ of the Bushi when in battle.

The new Emerald Champion of Rokugan, Utaku Sarnai is a well known Battle Maiden whose mount while in battle with her fellow Cavalry members is a Wind Ki’Rin by the name of Kaze who is larger than his fellow Wind Ki’Rin. Fiercely loyal like Akodo Saito, the things that she has witnessed have made her battle hardened and fearful of no man, beast or creature. The ‘General’ of the Cavalry, she leads from the front and joins them in battle whenever they are needed. NOT a MockZ.

Crew Hands
Swabbies, Landlubbers, Deck Hands, Shipmen, different ships call their Crew Hands different things but they are the ones who do much of the work aboard a ship. Cleaning and maintaining flying vessels takes a degree of bravery or foolishness as one wrong move and they could tumble down to the ground. They are often organized into groups that go by as many names as they do: mobs, gangs, parties, boys, etc. Particularly drunkard Crew Hands haven been known to go into battle with a bottle full of booze and a torch to breath fire (although their "accuracy" leaves something to be very, very desired). They are armed with a pistol, smg or one handed shotgun in one hand and a blade or axe in another. They are lead by Buccaneers.



Swashbuckler
Particularly daring Crew Hands who show a penchant for melee combat are often assigned and trained as Swashbucklers, melee combatants who use flashy moves and dazzling tricks along with a few well placed insults to overpower their foes. These raiders often swing off the sides of ships and skimmers, grabbing on by the rigging or handles, eager to prove themselves and their acrobatic talents in battle. They carry cutlasses and swords, sometimes dual weilding, sometimes with a buckler with throwing knives being a popular ranged option. They are lead by Corsairs



Deck Gunners
Any pirate vessel worth its salt always has a bank of cannons or other ranged weapons and its the Deck Gunners who have to oversee them. Armed with the best guns and boasting the best eyes, Deck Gunners are expert marksmen who've learned to shoot from atop crows nests and unsteady ship decks. They have a penchant for being extremely proud and arrogant of their marksmanship, often boasting and attempting to have shooting Competitions. Competitions quickly snuffed out by either the Captain or Quartermaster as to not waste the ship's stores of munition. They carry long rifles, snipers and even machine guns into battle and lay down fire support. They are lead by Long Shots (sometimes called Hot Shots on the account of their egos.)



Gun Luggers
While many Deck Gunners are satisfied with their snipers and rifles, others develop an itch for bigger guns and the desire to use them more so than their own prized rifles! Gun Luggers carry carts or small wagons into battle with Swivel Guns, Rocket Launchers, Tesla Beacon or Gatling Turrets and provide some of the heaviest firepower not bolted to a ship. Its said that they mount their guns on carts not because it allows them to move heavy weapons around quicker than most others, but because it allows them to instantly start firing by simply dropping the handles and opening up on an enemy. They too are lead by Long Shots (sometimes called Big Shots, adjusted for their new weapon's sizes.)



Grog Bombers
Getting drunk is a crucial part of Pyrate culture and drinking is a social outing. Of course, even Pyrates only can handle so much drunkness and drunkards tend to be of little use on a ship. However, the obscene amount of liquid courage some pyrates drink naturally lends them to the role of Grog Bomber where they are intoxicated grenadiers. They throw firebombs -sometmies filled with iron shavings and scrap- at enemies with all the bravery their alcholism can give them. They're also adept at breathing fire simply by spraying out their booze behind a torch. They are armed with bombs and crude weapons as they aren't going to be doing jackshit with a real gun or blade. They are led by often disgraced mates known as "Arsonists".

Engine Riggers
While all of the crew is expected to know how to maintain the ship, no one really knows the ship quite like its Engine Riggers, not even the Captain sometimes. They are highly experienced engineers who boast a surprising knowledge and intellect to many accustom to the drunk pirate stereotype. They form close bonds of kinship between each other in the bowels of the ship looking after its engines and turbines and other delicate machinery. When they are forced into battle, they wear specially designed Engine Rig Harnesses with Rebreather Packs, often hand made by the Engine Rigger themselves allowing them to carry immensely heavy objects to battle. Engine Riggers take pride in their work and its in their Harnesses which it comes out the most. They are armed with Rivet Guns, Steam Blasters, Steam Picks, Tesla Hammers or Power Drills, often using one in each hand. They are lead by Engine Masters.

Each Captain and Crew takes pride in the unique look of their ship, often enhancing it with various battle trophies looted from other MockZ armies. Tank armor, a walker leg, an engine turbine, each ship is unique and can vary wildly from other ships.

Sky Sirens - Mythical women with enchanting voices that touch at the very hearts and souls of men, these winged women are the spell casters of Pyrates. Many Pyrates both male and female have an innate distrust of the Sky Sirens due to stories of them luring ships to their doom as they chase their songs into cliffs or other hazards. Its because of this that many Sky Sirens are the lovers of Captains, Mates or even entire ship crews as to guarantee their own protection. Their magic comes in the form of songs that they can magically project straight into people's minds with spells focused around mind control or hypnosis and are masters when it comes to disrupting communications and orders. Particularly skilled Sirens have been known to tap directly into communication lines or radio waves and send soldiers walking to their doom, hypnotized by their beautiful yet malicious song. They aren't usually given weapons, forcing them to rely on flight and claws or knives in defense. Sky Sirens can only bear female daughters who become Debutantes or apprentices to Sky Sirens.



Figurehead Maidens - Sometimes also called Prowl Maidens or just Figureheads, they are the result of when a Sky Siren dies and her soul is trapped within the figurehead of a ship. These constructs are often the spearhead of Pyrate charges and attacks, floating in atop unnatural wings. They still retain the use of their voice allowing them to communicate to others, but in a ironic twist, their songs are no longer hauntingly beautiful, but just down right haunted. The infamous "Maiden's Chant" as the reverse effect of the songs of the Sky Sirens, terrifying soldiers to their very core with their ethereal wails and cries. They are armed with whatever the Figurehead they posses had meaning they're usually armed with swords although some have managed to figure out a way to use smaller anchors as war hammers. They are lead by Figurehead Angels.



Captains - Being a Pyrate Captain means that one must embody certain traits like cunning, bravery, strong will, ambitious, adventurous and a bit of ruthlessness. Needless to say, you rarely see an incompetent Pyrate Captain. Each captain command ultimate authority upon their given ship as they sail the horizon in hopes of adventure and loot to bolster their own ships and arms. Each captain commands a ship and its crew, sometimes referred to as a Ship Gang and they fight in as an analouge to a mlitary company. Prestigious and wealthy captains can attract the attention of more specialized crews meaning while many beginner captains only have a handful of Crew Hands at the start, those who forge their own dystanies and survive many raids and battles can expect to command Sky Sirens, Engine Riggers and other fabulous crewmembers with a core of Crew Hands so hardened and veteran that simply calling them Crew Hands would be a disservice.



Mates - Captains may have official authority over a ship and her crew, but its the Mates who have real power. Being a Mate can be more stressful and intensive than being a captain, being the go between the captain and the crew. Its their job to look over the crew, the provisions, and the armory while also being able to know everyone on board and where things are stored. They are also often instruments of command and punishment acting on behalf of the captain. Captains share a special bond with their Mates as they are the ones who they trust the most and hold some actual loyalty too but any good First Mate is willing to pounce at a chance to mutiny a crew and ship from a weak captain. Lower ranked mates are often acting as Sargent level leadership for units (Buccaneers, Long Shots, Corsairs).

The power armour of the Apollonians is an example of the sort of advanced technology they have at their disposal. Not only is each PCA suit environmentally sealed, proofing it against hazardous environments until damaged, but they are also highly resistant to penetration at their respective grades, possess infrared and radar detection systems, and in a pinch act as strength boosters for their wearers, amplifying their striking and crushing force, and their lifting capacity even more so. Seen above: the helmet worn on all grades, itself bearing a HUD showing armour damage in the appropriate locations and the infrared/radar output.

A monomolecular blade that, naturally, cuts at the level of molecules. Despite this, it is considered a last resort weapon when all other options have failed, and if the Apollonians are down to these, they truly are in a dire situation. Troops wearing Grade L and S PCAs bear them as separate weapons; troops in Grade H PCAs often don't bother carrying them, as they are rarely unable to destroy anything they can get a hold of in the first place, but can nonetheless have them incorporated below one arm or the other as extendable weapons slightly longer than standard.

A powerful weapon that, rather than cutting with a physical edge, contains an ultrahot beam of plasma within a magnetic field, allowing the resulting blade to slice through the vast majority of armour in a pinch. Whilst very dangerous, plasma that hot is extremely difficult to generate initially, much less contain its heat; therefore, any given plasma blade will run continuously for but a couple of minutes before its power source is expended, and less than that if it is turned off and back on again.

Powerful, densely-armoured machines designed to glide above the surface of any environment, these tanks are built with structural integrity and energy efficiency in mind, considering that they may have to stay active for extended periods of time and endure extreme firepower from various foes. As it happens, this also makes them very well suited to bearing versions of the energy weapons in the Apollonians' arsenal, namely the plasma mortar artillery piece, a twin-linked variant of the plasma cannon, and a version of the Heavy Tes-Las Gun in the form of a gatling cannon of sorts; whilst solid or explosive munitions can be equipped as well, this is rarely done for reasons of ammunition storage.

NAME: Maceroy Z-EX, referred to as "Lil' Mace" both affectionately and derogatively.
POWER:
APPEARANCE: As a clone of Maceroy Prime kept up to date at all times, the two are extremely physically similar, right down to the apparent physical age. The difference lies in Lil' Mace's wings, two sets of four designed to grant him the benefits of four wings that just two wouldn't offer; this also necessitates a change in clothing style, and his is distinguished from both his brother clones and Maceroy himself by a unique topless robe of sorts.
