Hey, hi, and hello, everyone! I'm Allie, but I'll probably go by Cosmic or something of that nature because, well, that's what's in my username. I've never done anything like this before-- 'this' meaning forum-based RP-- but I'm super excited to give it a shot and see how things go!
Though forums are new to me, RP is not. I think I've got around 4 years under my belt now, and I've been writing since I was able to pick up a pencil. My main experience has been on Tumblr, but I've done a few one-on-one verses with friends via Discord. As for my preferences... those are constantly changing. Some days I just want to hash something real quick out via script blurbs, other days I want to write until my fingers fall off. I'm experienced in both one-on-one and group settings for RP, and my preferences towards those two changes often, as well. As of joining this forum, I just want to make more friends I can easily throw plots to, or share headcanons, or have that One Ship that we always come back to.
That being said, the one thing that often shows up in my RPs is some form of intimate relationship. Of course, by intimate, I mean emotionally because I am two months away from being 18 and am well aware of the limitations regarding 'intimacy.' I thrive on deep connections, and yes that often means romance of some sort, but I also love familial relations-- be it through blood or through circumstance. I have a few genres/settings/plots that I would love to try out, but those will probably be featured in an upcoming interest check of some sort. c:
But aside from all the RP stuff, I'm a senior in high school, and I'm in the middle of applying to colleges and scholarships (and holy hell is it kicking my butt). I read mainly YA novels, and I play videogames all across the board. My most recent game finished was Horizon: Zero Dawn, though, which I loved with all my heart. I'm also emerging into the tabletop RPG scene, though all the games I'm in are online because I have yet to find a reliable group around me.
There's probably a lot more I haven't mentioned, but that's what my bio is for! I hope to make new friends here, and am excited to see where this new step in my rping 'career' takes me!
