"No splitting. The last time we split up, we lost our group." Charlie nods as you hear Jonathan talk, reassuring that he doesn't want the group to be split up again. Charlie is also really confused, eagerly looking for his master in every direction.

Once you get far enough away from the paladins, Jen returns by removing her helmet and states her plan. "I think we go for your goblin first. He has potential, I am led to believe, and you would be heartbroken without hi- GET DOWN!" Jen interrupts herself by tackling you to the ground, leaving you looking up into the sky to see a giant streak of fire in the air about a good twenty feet up. You can see a rather attractive female in it as well. What the heck?

"Well, he is my- AAHHHHHH JESUS." He screamed as he was tackled and saw the fire. "THERE WAS A PERSON IN THAT!" He yelled as he tried to push Jen off of him. His metal arm shot out a blade, running down the forearm, extending roughly three and a half feet past his hand. That was the upgrade he installed earlier.

"That is the reason I tackled you!"

You get back up on your feet just in time to see the flaming woman turn sharply towards the ground and fade out of your sight. She was probably busy being on fire, after all.

"... I have a feeling that the Light will guide us to her again."

You proceed with Jen to the Ratway of the city, which to no surprise, is full of rats.

That being said, you can see a few fresh and not-so-fresh corpses down here of wenches, merchants, even the occasional noble as you walk through the rancid and fumigated sewer. Jen is uncaring of the smell, surprisingly.

It's at a certain point in the sewer when you hear the cheers of high pitched underdark dwellers. Sounds like people.

As they walked past the rats and towards the noise, he prepped the blade in case of a fight. "He should be at the center of the noise. He likes to have fun." He said to Jen as they walked.

"You know this about him with having known him for three days?" Jen asks before she just shrugs it off, positioning herself in front of the entrance to the thing.

Until you get closer, the distant yet pungent smell of cheap alcohol runs under your nose as a green light explodes from the inside of the area ahead. Something's going on.

"Well, he chose to join me on this hell quest. So that counts for something." He said as the smell hit him. Then the green flash went off and he slipped in front of Jen and quickened his pace. He then extends his blade fully and preps a pistol.

You see a slimy green hand raise up out of the area before you see the familiar face of Gobbo, covered in small blood speckles and with a green glow around his eyes. "Tobiash! It ish really you!" The faint smell of charred goblin wafts into you and Jen's nose as Gobbo climbs up, his other hand covered in a used spell scroll. "I got thish from shomeone on my way in! It was a pyroblasht!"

Jen chuckles softly before covering her nose. "That was quick."

He kneels to look at Gobbo. "Whatever you did, I'm proud of you. Now, help us find the others, we still have a mission to complete." He says as he fist bumps Gobbo, with him returning it rather excitedly. Toby then stands up and looks towards Jen. "Okay. Where now?"

"I say we locate miss Magdalene next. Her magical aptitude will prove very helpful in our quest to get the team reunited," Jen's voice echoes as she leads the way out of the sewers.

You escape the sewers near the entrance to the Rich District as you notice your clothes are covered in gunk and gack. You can't go into the Rich District like that, definitely not. You'd be burned if you tried. Looks like you might have to find another way in.

"May I hold the book?"

"... Tobias, what do you think?"

"I'm not sure. I feel it safest on Jen, but whilst we are getting new clothes, I don't see why not." He said as he looked around, trying to see where he can get clothes. Hoping that Jen had a plan if this went wrong. His plan had to do with swords and bullets.

You step outside into the city and locate the closest tailor as Jen begins to pitch her tent, Gobbo sitting off to the side watching a stable of nearby mounts go about business. Charlie was behind you and the tent, watching guard in case something happened.

You notice out of the corner of your eye a feathered human being what you assume to be mugged by some large orc wielding a shortsword like a dagger. Maybe you should intervene?

As he was just about to enter the shop, he noticed the supposed mugging. He sighed and walked into the shop, quickly grabbing a jacket, and pair of pants, throwing a bag of coins on the counter. He stuffed them into his bag and dropped it next to Charlie. "Watch that for me." He said as he began to walk towards the Orc. "Hey Ugly, what exactly are you doing?" He yelled as he grabbed the orcs shoulder with his metal hand, with it slowly heating up, slowly forming a fireball.

Charlie looks at you with an expression that reads "what am I, you're suitcase?" before you turn to the orc and shout.

The orc turns to face you, a nasty burn on his chest before he falls over unconscious.

The feathered human looks at you as her right arm, which was on fire, extinguishes and reveals her wing. "Throw the fireball! It won't do anything!" she shouts at you, her voice sounding surprisingly happy and energetic.

When the Orc fell, Toby immediately steps back and fully extends his blade, also drawing a pistol and aiming at the new person. "Who the hell are you?" He asks, slightly shocked, not expecting this new turn of events.

"O-Oh! Sorry! I can't control my speed sometimes," the harpy said as she extended her feathered claw towards you in camaraderie. "Eve Pyrothol. To-Be Harpy Queen and Phoenix-in-Training."

Jen steps out of her tent finally, wearing more commoner clothes as she looks at you and Eve. A smug smirk can be seen on her face as she walks over to Gobbo and begins to talk to him, giving you some alone time with the harpy.

"Okay..." He said, still slightly uneasy, but he could tell that she wasn't an enemy. "Hello Eve. I am Tobias. My friends over there are Gobbo and Jen. What are you doing around this area?" He asked, she looked out of place in the slum area. He then retracted his blade and started to let his hand cool off.
