Sammy stayed on the bed just relaxing while she waited for Andre since she knew she would not be able to go down stairs by herself because of her screwed up ankle she had. "I so wish my ankle did not twist."
Andre's mom picked up. "Hello?" "Sam won't be able to walk or bike home," said Andre. "Her ankle's even more messed up than we thought. Can you pick us up?" "I can send your father." "He's home?" He didn't bother hiding how happy he was to know his father was home. "Mhm. Came in ten minutes ago."
Sammy looked out the window of the loft area at the sky thinking it looked pretty and wished she could stay there and watch the sky all day and night. She at there on te bed waiting patiently for Andre to come back.
"Wow your dad you must be excited because you get to see him again. Sammy said with a smile at him as he walked upstairs. "Yeah think you can help me down I don't trust my ankle at all and I don't want a reason to go to the hospital." She explained to him.
Samy leaned against him once she knew he could support her and started to slowly go down the stairs one step at a time. She was glad he was there to help her for it made it easier on her and safer at the same time.
Sammy nodded him. "Yes a lot thanks Andrea you are a great big help." She said with a smile at him as she went over to sit down on the couch to wait for his dad. "So I get to meet your dad for the first time that is cool." She said with a sweet smile.
"He's a good guy," said Andre. "He works his ass off so I can have a better life than he did. But when he has a break, nine out of ten times he'll be with Mom and me."
Sammy smiled for she thought it was great how close his family was. She wished she had that with her grandmother but the old bat was not willing to give it a chance because her grandmother thinks she knows who she was already. "He sounds like a really great dad."
Andre's eyes were suddenly sad. "It wasn't always that way," he said. "He used to drink, and he'd beat me. He was different back then. But when he went to jail, he changed. Said he'd found God in there. But he changed, and that's all I care about."
"Wow that must have been scary for a while but at least he changed." Sammy said to him. "I just wish my grandmother would change and stop blaming me for my mothers death though I don't know how, them dying in an accident that I was never involved in so yeah." She said but what no one told he was she was in the car when it happen but all she got was the scar on her back and amnesia of the whole thing.
"I doubt it she is so stubborn and stuck in her ways." Sammy said to him as she sat back into the couch. "Hey forget about her and think more about your dad after al he is picking us up." She assured him.
"Wow you are lucky." Sammy said for she wished she had that and could have lived with them and not her grandparents. "I wish I had a big family so what is the rest of your family like?" She asked him wanting to hear about his family.
"Most are country folk, bordering on being rednecks," Andre laughed. "I've got so many cousins I lost track. I mean some of my cousins have kids and are twice our age."
Sammy laughed a little and thought it was awesome. "That just sounds awesome to me honestly." he said with a smile as she listened. "That many cousins really and that old dang." she said smiling and laughing still for it was so funny and cool.
"And the ones I always remember are the twins, Brooke and Courtney," said Andre. "They're big into anime and manga. I wouldn't be surprised jf either became a mangaka."
