Midoriya's mind raced. Nensu was, even if he took count that she might be hesitating, very aggressive. He wasn't sure if he could even finish it within ten shots-or worse, it would end before he could try resisting any further. He saw another wave of ice shot at him, and swiftly reacted. He took a shot at it, another massive shockwave smashing the ice wave in its way. He was too busy from the pain of the finger and missed Nensu approaching him from behind. It was a clean hit, her foot shoved cleanly into his back. Even if she was hesitant, the shot was clearly a strong hit. Midoriya clenched his teeth as he was pushed forward. He supported himself with his right hand by instinct(which was also the hand he fired two shots from) and winced in pain. The boy reached for Nensu's ankle with his left hand and tried to swing her to in front of him.

If that last act wasn’t enough, then Nensu figured that it was the appropriate act of retaliation. The boy was in obvious pain, mainly for the fact that his fingers appeared to be broken yet slightly bleeding. His pained face made it all-the-more obvious. It caused the girl to lose her footing for a moment, before being able to catch herself from falling on her face. Eventually getting up on her feet, she started to pant, while her right arm was showed some traces of frost, and it began to shake, due to overusing her ice quirk for the first half of the match. Cold air became apparent in her breathing, as well.

“Wow”, she breathed, with a small smile.
“I got to say, Midoriya, I’m real impressed. Considering that I don’t know much about your quirk, you’re really showing some class”.

"I can still put up a fight."
Midoriya managed to put up a grin on his face as he and Nensu came face to face. His eyes observed her as she spoke. Even if she had top-notch firepower of the whole hero course, she couldn't last forever. There were evident signs that she was reaching her limit- her right side had traces of frost growing on it. The more she used her ice she got colder, apparently. It gave him a spark of hope-but he doubted he could last longer. His right hand was aching badly, and he doubted if he could fight with such arm. And up close he couldn't use One for All at all. He still had little control over it after all the time spent. Only twice did he have control-when he used it at the giant villain back at USJ, and when he swung his arm at Shoto back at the cavalry battle. Still, the chances were too small to try now.

A flaming man walked forward at the heroes' seats. He has been eyeing two particular students the whole time. Endeavor, the father of the two Todoroki's of class 1-A. He was always eager to see them grow stronger- they were his trump card to go beyond All Might after all. If not himself then his children. His face was full with a wide grin. Nensu had grown stronger, if not the same.
"EXCELLENT, NENSU! PERFECT SKILLS TO GO BEYOND MYSELF, AND EVEN ALL MIGHT!"
He yelled out, his beard flaming with himself.

Nensu looked at the other teen with a determined yet considerate smile. In truth, she was actually having fun, although having to see him in pain, she did feel a bit concerned. When she had mentioned that they could practice together, although she didn't want him to get hurt in the process, but then, this became an occasion they would be forced to get serious. "And I'm glad! After all, you just might be able to surpass me in combat alone. I'd like you for that", she commented, having to keep the grin upon her face, while using her left hand to heat up her right side. She was still smiling while doing this, although she didn't expect the good feelings to get destroyed, as soon as the one voice she had wished to forget, made itself known.

She gasped, making the pupils in her eyes become smaller, before she started to tremble. "No, no, no, no, no!", she whimpered, before having to close her eyes tightly, as soon as a bullet of pain came shooting through her head.
'That bastard! Who knew he would be here, of all places?! Right here, right now, he is going to pay!'

"Shut up. Shut up. Shut up!", she said aloud, before the fire on her left side began to flare.
'Don't get me wrong. It'll all end here and now! Starting with your boyfriend!'
"No!", she shouted, as soon as the fire on her left side began to flare.
'Trust me. Endeavor will now know where it all hurts! But this time, I'll be playing the villain', that is when Nensu began to scream, until the fire disappeared completely.

"Hello, Midoriya", the name was spat out in discontent. "Remember me?", the cruel voice of Loma sounded; her malicious smile very apparent.

Midoriya's eyes widened. He tried to get closer to Nensu, but the flames flickered threateningly as ray of heat kept him away. Only someone like Hiems or Shoto could go through that wall of fire. The boy had to watch it all happen again, helplessly. Loma was taking control, all thanks to Endeavor's raging words.
When the fire was finally extinguished, Midoriya tried to rush to her, only stopping at the spot to sense something wrong. Nensu couldn't fight her off. The green haired boy faced Loma, the abomination Endeavor planted in his daughter's head by his cruel deeds. There was no option now-he had to fight her, until someone realized that something was wrong. Hold on so he could help save the day.
"...we meet again."
He replied to the malignant presence. If she was to strike, then he'd strike back. He still had plenty of fingers left.

Loma’s sights were right upon the teen in the distance, and she could only think of so many ways to tear him apart. ’Was it to beat him to death? Burn him to a crisp? Oh, what fun on putting him to sleep!’, she mentally thought to herself, and it eventually made her smile in deviousness; a crazed glint in her eyes.
The twisted gears in her mind was turning, and her left side flared brightly, before feeling the wind blow through her hair, to which she used as an aid in her next attack. She blew a geyser of fire into his direction, before putting her foot down on the ground to send another wall of ice upon him.

A chill went down Midoriya's spine as he looked into the mad eyes of the girl. Loma's twisted aura was working its way through Nensu, taking advantage of the quirk she had only for destruction against the teenager standing in front of him. There was one, crooked goal she had, and Midoriya had to stop it. A trail of ice and fire shot towards him. Just like before, but this time it wasn't a controlled one, but rather a one aimed for a kill. The boy aimed his finger at the attack and fired. 'SMASH until I can't!' He told himself. The shockwave made its way to the two streams of different elements, and dissipated them mid air. During the short term before Loma could attack again, Midoriya made a run for it. If he got close there was a chance for him to stop her from making the damage reach further.
"STOP!"
He yelled. He held his right hand forward. Three shots fired. He couldn't fire from the hand alone-but he could fire it with the help of his other hand. He was going to push himself further, no matter how much he had to. If he could save his friend there was no reason to hesitate.

Loma briefly laughed in amusement, and near enjoyment, before she started to run towards the teen with malicious intent in her eyes. She didn't expect him to start firing at her with such shockwaves, and that forced her to create some ice walls to slow down the force of Midoriya's strikes. "That's pathetic", the sinister personality spat, having to be amused by his attempts. "You deserve to burn in the fires of hell. Little baby Nensu has been hurt enough! You think you can save her?!", she yelled, having to send a sheet of ice on the ground, and skate upon it; agile movements allowing her to dodge some of his hits. "Come on!", with a laugh, she sent a punch to his stomach.
"I thought you'd be tougher than this".
The girl then took hold of the boy's arm, before putting a foot to his back, pinning him to the floor of the arena. "Every girl, who's not willing to pick up a fight, deserves some justice. We're not that different, she and I. I mean, why so desperate on helping the poor lamb, anyway? It's not like you love her, right?", she then started twisting his arm, while having to give off that taunting smirk.

Deep in her eyes, however, Nensu was crying.

Everything happened too fast for him suddenly. Midoriya's eyes failed to catch Loma's movements as the girl skated on the ice and punched him. He bent forward to the strike, his breath knocked off of him. Before he could recover, or start thinking straight again, he felt his arm get snatched away. A foot was planted on his back, this time intended with more force, and easily pushed him off against the concrete floor. The boy could hardly let out a groan as he gasped for breath while losing some at the same time to the instinctive grunts to the pain. His free hand was scraping the floor hopelessly.
"Hggkkk..."
His head needed time to settle down and think.
"You're... nothing... like.... her..."
His mouth moved with no relation to his mind. He couldn't comprehend what was happening, but did not bother to stop. His hand stopped scraping the floor. It pushed against the cold solid substance. He pushed himself against the girl's force. The right arm tried to pull free from the grip. What was it that fueled him? Was it that teenage crush that mesmerized him? The hostility against Loma? The pure will to save his friend?
"She deserves MORE THAN YOU!"
Midoriya, instead of breaking free of her grip, got hold of her arm as he stood up. He pushed her leg away from him, knocking her off balance. Without giving her time to recover, he flipped her over to the floor.

Loma was grinning continuously as she watched the pained expressions on the boy’s face. She thrived for this moment, and in the end, Nensu will be happy, like how she deserves it.
“What do you think the difference is between me and that girl, Midoriya? We both hate the same man!”, she was just about to twist his arm even more, Nensu’s sinister counterpart found herself on the ground, on her back.
Giving a pained grunt, she growled, once she found her intended victim above her, sitting upon her stomach. Instead of fear, she was pleased.
“You want to beat me? Go ahead! Just know that you won’t hit me, but her, as well!”, she laughed.

Midoriya did not show a sign of beating her. He couldn't. Or he won't. There was no use beating her. Loma was a wraith born from violence Nensu lived in. He wasn't going to get more in her way. It'd only keep her going, prove that his effort was futikle. No, he wasn't going to fight Loma. He was going to talk to Nensu. He wasn't sure if she was there, but there was no time to waste.
"...Nensu san? You're listening, right?"
He said. He paused for a moment. what words would wake her up properly?
"Don't let yourself lose to Loma. We haven't known each other for so long, but I know that you're stronger than her. Nicer than her. Leagues better than her.
...remember when we met at the day off? It was really nice. We... went on a date. And stuff."
Midoriya's face lit up lightly with him pausing for a short moment. But he resumed on anyways.
"You were like a shining star for me."

Loma stared up at Midoriya, and growled at his attempts to try and make contact to the good side of Nensu. “Didn’t you hear me? She can’t hear you!”, she snarled at him, clenching her teeth in annoyance yet anger. His words were making her angrier, and her left side then began flare.
“Shut up!”, she theN attempted to hit him with her fire-blazing hand, but before it could make contact with him, it stopped just inches away from his face.
“What...?!”, she shouted.
‘You’ve made enough people get hurt! Now it’s my turn’, Nensu’s voice told her within her head, causing her entire being to tremble.
“No! He’s playing with your head! He has to go!”, the anger and the fear was evident in her voice now.
’You’re wrong! He’s only trying to help me. And you know what? I’m tired of you helping me. You’ve done your job! It’s my turn to defend myself! I have the right!’
“Who is he to you?!”
’He’s my friend. I treasure him! He’s...he’s my hero! Always been! And now, you’re done for now!’
“You can’t do this to me! You can’t! No! NOOO!”, Loma began to scream, before the fire on her left, dissapeared.
The girl’s eyes were closed, and the tears began to fall, shortly she opened her eyes, showing the gentle eyes of Nensu looking up at the other teenager.

Midoriya watched quietly as Loma fought desperately over the control of Nensu's body. His grimace slowly turned into a smile as he saw Nensu come back finally. She won, after all the time. Nensu broke free from Loma. He let out a sigh of relief, only to realize they were in an awkward position to continue their conversation. His face slightly lit up.
"Oh! I'm... waaAA-"
Midoriya moved himself off of Nensu, tilting dangerously towards the floor and eventually collapsing. A painful grunt escaped his mouth. His right hand was a mess from all the smashes he shot, and his torso too was in pain from the fight against Loma. So much to free her. In total, his legs were fine, but the rest of his body was too tired to let him move. He wanted to walk off by himself but he lacked the strength to.

"...is it over?"
Midnight said, peeking at the two teens.

As soon as the female teen looked up at Midoriya, she smiled, although she showed a slight amount of confusion when she found herself laying on the floor. The sight of the boy's injuries made Nensu softly gasp, right before she saw him retract himself from her in embarrassment, and eventually collapsing. The feeling of concern washed over her, and she managed to sit herself up, so she would be on her knees, having to be by the green-haired boy's side in seconds without hesitation.
At the rate they were at, she would find in being the winner of the match.
Instead of pure triumphant for coming out victorious, Nensu felt almost saddened, having to not see any sort of fairness in this endeavor. She didn't inflict those most-intense injuries, meaning that Loma had taken all of the credit, as well as put all of the harm upon Midoriya. At the thought, she carefully put her arms underneath the boy, and picked him up, nearly that of a bridal style. "I'm so sorry, Midoriya", she whispered.

Midoriya was effortless against Nensu when she picked him up. He was too tired to protest anyways. All he did was grunt weakly as his body left the cold embrace of the concrete arena. He slowly leaned his head against her arm. He didn't make it to the top after all- that was bad. But he helped Nensu stand up. That meant something. Even if he didn't get the shiny medal, he saved the day... and a girl. Not bad at all.
"It's okay."
He said.
Meanwhile, Midnight watched the two teenagers walk away off the stadium. There were robots rolling in to carry Midoriya on the stretcher, but she held them back with a proud smile on their face. Cementoss only shrugged, proceeding to repair the small damaged bits of the arena with his quirk. The burnt, cracked parts of the concrete were removed, and a new batch took their place.
"Let them enjoy the moment."
Midnight said. Meanwhile, Present Mic continued to call in the next fight. Only the 1-A and the faculty knew of what precisely happened- but to the other audience it was an intense fight that, somehow, ended into a lovely ending. The sudden turn in the events caused a small bit of confusion, but there were small cheers coming out from here and there of the crowd for the two. Apparently what they did pretty much showed to the whole grade, and the public, that they were dating. Midoriya himself didn't realize it, but Hiems, who was watching it(not mentioning the part where he was half asleep through half the fight) realized it. A hard dating life it was going to be for them.

Upon hearing his response, Nensu held Midoriya close to her, even though she knew he might not be able to likely register what was going on around him. To the audience, they can probably assume that they were dating, but even she herself didn’t know what to call it, although she did feel that the green-haired teen was able to stand up to her other half, regardless on the damage she was able to inflict upon him. However, it didn’t help the fact that he was now currently weak, and that Nensu herself wasn’t able to protect him from her wrath. But somehow, she also got the feeling that he may not be too far away from her, from now on.
Walking back to the bleaches, she sat on the ground, continuing to hold the wounded Midoriya. She was letting the lower half of his body lay on the ground, while cradling his upper half in her arms. The girl became too concerned for him that she nearly didn’t register on what was going on around her. It didn’t stop her from looking at her father on the other side of the arena with cold dismay, though.

Midoriya grunted awkwardly as he followed Nensu's gaze to the visitors' seats to see Endeavor standing at the fence to keep the audience from falling to the stadium. He couldn't see his expressions correctly, but to him it seemed like the hero merely smirked to Nensu's hateful gaze at him. The green haired boy turned back to Nensu, and a hiccup escaped from his mouth. She was holding him up close against her- her face was less than a palm away from his. He hurriedly hid his face with his hands as he felt blood rush up to it. Did she have to treat him like he was a little baby all the time?
"N.. Nensu-san? I think we should take a trip to the infirmary quick..."
He pointed out.
---
The robots waiting beside the two guided them to the infirmary, where Recovery Girl helped Midoriya start healing his wounds. Then she turned to Nensu, who she had wait at the chair away from the infirmary beds. The old lady let out a short sigh and climbed up the chair and spun to face the girl. She didn't seem mad-only a bit startled, but also a bit relieved. It took a few seconds before she finally opened her mouth.
"It's a miracle it ended with such damage. All Might paid a visit a bit ago. Told me what happened."
She pulled a handful of gummy and offered it to Nensu.

Nensu allowed Recovery Girl to tend to the other teen's wounds, even though the girl wasn't allowed to stick around, as soon as she started working on the procedure. So she was forced to wait in the chair, near the woman's desk. It took some time for her to register on what happened, as well as the fact that both the Endeavor and Loma were responsible for putting Midoriya in danger. Not only is Nensu eventually figuring out that the other teen had taken extreme measures to help her take control, but then she felt guilty for allowing her rise in the first place. Now, if only she should have been stronger in holding back her malevolent counterpart when the number two hero made his presence known.
It was, from that point, that she wanted Midoriya to be safe, and not have to endure that nightmare again.
Eventually, Recovery Girl came out from behind the curtain, and back to her chair. To hear those news, Nensu finally released the breath that she had been holding in, and looked down at her feet, towards her white boots.
The worst case scenario wouldn't look so desirable. 'He could have been killed', she thought, as she took the gummy from her. She just held it in her hand, not feeling the need to eat it immediately. "Is he going to be okay?", she asked, worried and empathetic for Midoriya's wellbeing.

Recovery Girl gave her a reassuring smile. She knew that Nensu was someone far from Loma, someone who was more gentle and caring. Someone who wanted, and deserved to be a hero that could save the day. For a moment she was tempted to make a joke about it, but she knew it'd frighten her good(which wasn't her real intention).
"Don't worry, he'll be fine. It's a miracle he could stand that much hits, but I guess miracles do happen,"
She said. Meanwhile a groan came out of the bed Midoriya was lying on. The old hero's eyes turned to the bed following the sound, and opened the curtains to see the green haired boy sitting up on the bed. He took the time to muster up the strength to talk again and moved his gaze to Nensu from Recovery Girl.
"Hey."
He said.

MIdoriya thought of something that would help her feel assured, but quit as he felt the fatigue and the lingering pain overwhelm him. After all they've won(though he knew he didn't win the tournament, to be accurate). Nensu seemed like she was worried about him, and somehow, maybe through his past experience of the short moments he shot his quirk and broke his fingers mercilessly he knew no words from him would reassure her no matter what.

---

"Man, I hope MIdoriya's alright. He seemed pretty beaten up."
Kirishima said. There was another match going on, but 1-A's interest on the matchs got weaker as their concern for Midoriya grew after they saw Loma's arrival. All they saw was Nensu carrying Midoriya back to the infirmary, and nothing after that. Some of them were eager to check the infirmary, but were also afraid they'd see Midoriya in a total mess.

Nensu fidgeted with her fingers, almost praying to herself that Midoriya will be able to recover from such an assault, and the guilt only continued to linger, as soon as she saw the green-haired teen sitting up in the bed. Having to hear his voice, even though it was weak, the girl quietly gasped, before standing up from the chair, and carefully approaching his bedside.
"How are you feeling?", she asked him, in her usually gentle yet concerned voice. Even though she wanted to wait for him to answer, Nensu just couldn't hold back the tears, as her own guilt was starting to take over. Falling to her knees, she softly cried into the mattress.
"I couldn't stop her. I tried, Midoriya; I did!", she whimpered.
It eventually came to her that Loma was too strong when it came to Endeavor, which made her twice as hard to hold back.
