That aside, I'm not "new" in the sense of being new here. I mean, new member, but I've been observing from afar since an old rp buddy I have recommended me here, back in...October, I think? Around that time. Anyways, my name is Serene, or rather, that's the screenname most know me as, though my actual name I go by is Chris. Took me a bit to join, I'm actually...kinda shy, haha. Anyway, I'm a professional rper in the sense I've been doing this since early High School, and I'm a college senior now, so about...seven years or so? I started on a Minecraft rp server forum actually, and eventually migrated to G+ for the past five or six years. With that place shutting down, and folks I rp with making plans for migration, and me helping the roleplay community I founded transfer to new turf, I've been looking for a new place to put down roots. I'm a primarily science-fiction/fantasy rper, due to my main(in the sense that I devote the most time to) character being the result of multi-fandom antics, as they were the child of two other OCs in our writing group, my old main was their father, and well, yeah. I'm more the casual board type rper, though I can write massive responses as needed. I love world building, as I had to uh...build up the universe that the bulk of my characters hail from, as our writing group was basically an Expanded Universe of the Rune Factory series, after it collided with tons of other series. If it sounds insane, it is and was.

Anyways, that aside, I'm a free writer, as I like to write little things, and I've been thinking about starting up a side thing for commissions, like some of my artist friends. I love platformers and rpg games, just finished DKC: Tropical Freeze for the Switch, and I'm in the midst of mentally preparing myself for Smash Ultimate and a few other games. Also puzzle games. Also uh, sorry if this is a tad long winded, I love writing, like, so much, so much so that I made it my career, as I'm a historian, well, almost, wrapping up my degree this spring.

Glad to meet you all, and I hope we all get along well! Hoping to find other Rune Factory rpers, even though...my level of attention to series lore might spook some folks. I had to...for world building purposes...Anyways that's enough textwalling, I look forward to interactions! When I work up the courage, I might post my main's current profile to that character sheet area...assuming I don't finish her next update before then. Ahaha...I'll be joining the Discord server later, lol. Have a nice one!

Oh and somethings I forgot. I love watching horror content, reading anything I can get my hands on(sans romantic stuff usually), and electronic, rock, and heavy metal music, along with a healthy dosage of classical and celtic.

Thanks! I imagine I will, given I've been seeing posts throughout the time I'd been watching that looked amazing, but I was too nervous about joining. And I've seen a few that look pretty good here so far today alone! I just hope folks like my personal writings...since one of my ongoing personal characters is four years worth of rps, and uh...she's gathered a lot of stuff. Being a sort of Half-Monster(RF race) dragon who hordes technology is...interesting.

It's like a cold pool, the sooner you jump in, the sooner you'll be having fun.

Oh man, if you were reading the first page of my character archive, that stuff is years old haha. I'd like to think I've improved since then but none the less thank you for the kind words.

Hah, I can say that compared to the younger me, I've definitely gotten better, so I can safely assume the same for you! For the character sheets, are we allowed to link google docs into our sheet posts? Just asking, since most of my characters are kept inside of documents, lol.

That'd be at the discretion of the game's GM. Most RPs here will have a provided character that the GM will want you to fill out.

I'm sorry, I'm afraid I still don't understand the question.

Taking a guess, you're asking about the roleplay tabs that are divided into IC, OOC and Char. In which case, yes the Character Tab is to be used for depositing character sheets for that roleplay.

You can see that done here. This is just an example of how I manage and organize my RP's character tabs, some people literally just post sheets in there but I like having a roster to quickly reference.

That I fully understand, I meant under the off topic board, there's the character sheet sub-board. Not sure entirely how that fully works. That's the confusion on my end, really. Sorry for any confusion caused.

Oh you just make a thread and store whatever you want in there, character sheets, RP ideas, etc.

Yeah sheets can take any form you want, most GMs will have one specified for you to fill out but for your own personal thread you can do what you want. There's also plenty of templates floating around. Lady A even has a thread dedicated to them.

I've read some of her stuff before, nice lady. I follow, just gotta find my style, I guess. I really am used to google doc and G+ style sheets, so transition will be fun. Thankfully for at least two of my personal writing characters(and the primary version of my personal works verse), I have most of the information at hand, its just formatting to do.
