"Well that settles it then. It's time for us to get down there, get parts. Figure out what is going on with the Republic, and hopefully find out our next move and what's going on with the Jedi. Surely there has to be other Jedi left, other than Master Obi-Wan. I can't believe he would be the only one left, Master Windu, Yoda, Fisto. They're all incredibly powerful and can't have been taken down so easily." Mevenn shook her head. "Take us down, it's time to figure out where we're going next."

They had quickly received permission to land, so Eeruna wasted no time in bringing them down to the surface. From the quite limited information their docking instructions gave them, they would be landing in a place called Dantoo Town. Based on the view from above as they approached, it was, all things considered, a fairly large town, but the fact that it was also one of the larger settlements on the planet also painted a clear picture of how sparsely populated the planet was. The landing pads were simply out in the open around the edge of the town, and slightly elevated above the grass. Most of them were not in use, so there was no delay before they could land the ship.

Kresst, Mevenn, and Eeruna all walked down the loading ramp together. C2 rolled down just behind them as well, though the droid got to work immediately on inspecting the exterior of the ship for any additional damage their sensors might have missed. As for the rest of them, it was not terribly clear where they needed to go to actually speak with the port authority, but fortunately, they did not have to wait long to find out. It was only moments after they left the ship that a Human man came walking out onto the landing pad. He looked older, with a thick, greying beard, and a simple drab green uniform with few identifiable markings. His eyes naturally went to the ship immediately, and the visible damage on its hull.

"Looks like you all have been into some trouble. You weren't scheduled to be here, so I'm taking the guess that the trouble brought you here?" The man remarked.

Mevenn stood before Kresst, scanning. Taking up the whole bodyguard position, scanning the horizon. She spoke first. "My master here-" the term of master slipped her mouth, though she was glad for the bodyguard get up she was playing. Otherwise the term may have been a dead giveaway. "-was on a mission to deliver information to the senate about pirate attacks on our small colony world. Unfortunately, when hearing about our mission the pirate lord decided to attack us personally. Now we're here." She signalled to the ship. "Our vessel has also seen better days. We're looking for repairs and-" A strange feeling began to tingle at the base of her spine. Something calling to her through the Force. She looked at Kresst, and then off in the distance, her perplexed reaction hidden due to her helmet. Only the more subtle head nods visible to the harbormaster. Confusion radiated from him as the silence went on for a little longer than intended. She cleared her throat. "-Sorry. Thought I saw something. Anyway, we're looking for repairs and a holonet connection. Our transmitter was knocked out during the fight."

"We just need some parts; nothing too rare." Eeruna added. "I can do the repairs myself, and we do have the credits to pay for them, so we're not asking for charity."

The Human nodded to both Eeruna and Mevenn. "I'm sure we can help you, then. I know Daris would just love to have your business. Things aren't too busy here, so I can show you to his shop. It's not far. As for the holonet, I think we've actually been having some problems with that today. I was going to make a call earlier, but I couldn't get through. Not sure if our technicians have fixed our equipment yet, or if it was even a problem with our equipment. If you're not getting a connection right here, you can try the cantina. Just through the door behind me, all the way down the road on the left at the first intersection."

Eeruna turned her head towards the others. "I can go deal with the parts and repairs myself, so you two can do whatever you need here." She offered.

"Yes, thank you." Kresst replied, remaining as non-specific as possible in the presence of the other Human. It was highly unlikely that he was any threat to them, but the less information they revealed to anyone, the better.

However, as the Human led Eeruna away to the parts dealer, Kresst did not immediately follow into the city. Instead, he wandered over to the edge of the landing pad, looking out over the expanse of hills and grasslands before him, beyond the town. After a few seconds of silence, he sat himself down with his legs hanging off the edge of the landing pad, with his feet reaching down just low enough to have the tall grass brush against them in the wind. Dantoo Town was not entirely silent. Even from here, there was the low sounds of speeders and machinery, but it was magnitudes less busy than the bustling city of Coruscant. For the most part, right now, it was just the sounds of birds in the distance, chirping insects, and the feel of the breeze through Kresst's feathers. It was the kind of calm that, right now, Kresst could lose himself in.

The feeling continued to nag at the back of Mevenns head, just above her spine. It clawed at her, demanded to be answered. As if someone shouting at her from a great distance. As Kresst sat down comfortably she couldn't bear it anymore as the harbourmaster walked away as Eeruna moved on to go looking for parts. "Master, I sense something. Somethings calling to me, and by your reaction it's calling to just me." She looked off to the horizon, over the buildings of the town there were hills in the distance. She knew that that was where she needed to go, she didn't know how she knew that, she just did. "My Master, Worror, always told me to trust in the Force and follow it's guidance, and I think this is one of those times."

She froze for a second, as if unsure on where she was going with this. "However, I'm not so sure that now is the best time to be running off and following my feelings." Shaking her head. "I'm not entirely sure what I'm asking for, if I'm asking for your permission to stay or your permission to go. I just-" her voice was shaking at this point. "-I just know I need to make a decision and I just don't know if I can."

Kresst continued to look out over the grasslands, though his eyes opened as Mevenn spoke. He did not feel called upon as Mevenn was describing, but his feelings could not deny the power of the Force in the world around them. It was hard to place, and not the strongest he had ever felt, but there was something different compared to the average agrarian colony world. There was a pause after Mevenn finished speaking, and Kresst took in another long breath. "There is something...special about this place, isn't there? It is placid, remote, mostly uncorrupted by civilization, of course, but also...something beyond all of that. Something more than just hills and grasslands. Perhaps it is no accident that I just happened to point to this world on the star map."

Eventually, Kresst finally brought himself to stand up and turn back to Mevenn. Despite how distraught Mevenn was, Kresst kept his steps, and demeanor, calm. "Trust in the Force and trust in each other. Those were our instructions, yes? I do not know what it is you are feeling, but I do trust you, Mevenn. We are going to make good and bad decisions in the coming days, but indecision...that is what is going to end up killing us. If something does. Trust your feelings..." Kresst began as he reached out and placed a hand on her leg, since he could not possibly reach her shoulder. "...but realize that you do not have to face any of this alone. Whether it is destiny or deceit calling you, I can accompany you. It will be some time before the Empire will be able to track us here, even with our ship's ID codes."

Once again, Kresst momentarily broke the situation's rather serious tone with a light chuckle. "Though, if we don't happen to have a speeder stored away somewhere in the ship, you may want to carry me there...else the Empire might have already risen and fallen in the time it takes these legs to actually walk any real distance."

A smile crossed Mevenns lips as she raised the helmet off her head, her hair falling in all directions. Helmet hair, it wasn't pretty. She nodded up the ramp where Mach had appeared since the port officials had departed. Pushing a speeder in idle down the ramp a few moments later until Mevenn caught it, stopping it from moving past them. Lifting her left leg over the saddle of the BARC speeder she waited patiently for Kresst to mount it, no doubt behind her so he could hang on. While she waited she chuckled nervously. "I'm hoping that this is destiny rather than deciept. I'm not really feeling up to a fight if I'm honest Master."

Kresst kept his eyes, and all of his other senses, tuned to the world around him even moreso than before, especially now that he knew there was something out there calling to Mevenn. Indeed, he could feel that the Force was stronger than usual on this particular world, and without the sinister undertones they had felt on the last world from the Sith temple. This was something more, something other than just the life on the grasslands. In any other situation, his academic curiosity alone would be enough for him to want to investigate.

Normally, there was not enough space on a BARC speeder for two adults, but Kresst was able to climb up and fit comfortably in Mevenn's lap. At least, reasonably comfortably. If she had to brake suddenly, he might end up pressed between her and the handles. "Agreed, I would rather avoid violence right now. But, let us try to avoid approaching in fear and just...trust in the Force. And I will trust you to not suddenly launch me over the handlebars. For a bird, I am surprisingly poor at flying." He chuckled.

Mevenn adjusted awkwardly as Kresst mounted the speeder sitting onfront of her. Taking her helmet she placed it on the small cargospace behind her as Kresst nestled in before her. Pushing the handlebars forward, the speeder moved off rapidly with a hum and a buzz. She braced herself against the acceleration. The speeder passed through pastures and between hills. The scenery a constant thing of beauty as they moved away from the city. As they left the hustle and bustle, away from other sentient beings Mevenn closed her eyes and allowed herself to sink into the Force. She couldn't have said how long she remained in a trance, she followed the calling. It was like a sad song in the Force.

A song that she was following to it's source, the air began to cool as they moved further from the city. Mevenn opened her eyes as she caught the sun in her face, setting on the horizon as they were heading straight for it. A ruined circular building in the distance. A building that sang in the Force. A sad song, one of life and death. The everlasting cycle of the Force.

As the pair approached the ruins, Kresst was almost as entranced as Mevenn, though perhaps for somewhat varying reasons. One thing he was certain of, however, was that he could feel what Mevenn was feeling. The force felt almost like a beacon to him as well, drawing them in towards its center. It was not strictly light nor darkness, but rather something more...natural, in a way. Though, the source was anything but.

Kresst climbed down off of the speeder the moment Mevenn stopped. The ruins were far from in good condition, so he could not be completely certain what he was looking at just off of first impressions, but he had a rather strong inkling of it. The scholar in him wished it was something he could have found long before their current crisis. It was something he wished they could simply stop and study, especially with the presence it carried with it in the Force. It was a place of life and death, a place with a story he wished he could take the time to read in every crumbling brick. "I...did not know there would be a place like this here. What do you think draws you here, Mevenn?"

Mevenn slung herself off the speeder as she shrugged. "The Force?" She chuckled slightly. The main outline of the building was a spherical shape. Though they couldn't see it there were clear holes in the structure for a courtyard and landing pads. Whatever this building was it had certainly been a facility of some kind that could support ships. "I'm not entirely sure, I don't even know what this place is." She closed her eyes again, hearing the singing pulling at her. Drawing her closer to the structure. "It feels like the call that I had once as an initiate. The call of a crystal, but this can't be can it? After all I already have two crystals that I have trained with and grown an affinity for."

While Mevenn was searching her feelings for answers, Kresst took the time to more closely examine the structure before them. As a historian and archaeologist, he had likely spent years of his life in such ruins. He looked for any inscriptions in the stonework, or any tell-tale signs in the construction that would point to its origin. One thing that he was sure of was that it was familiar, and not just in its physical traits. He felt what he presumed Mevenn was feeling through the force. The very stones had a strong light side presence, and yet, it was not alone. There was something else, something darker in its undercurrents. Kresst had a feeling that the structure's ruined state may not have been a product of time alone. Tragedy may once have struck this place.

"I cannot be certain of anything without an extensive exploration of the ruins, but I can say that this place is old indeed. Nature had already reclaimed much of it. Grasses have grown up through the very walkways, and I would be willing to wager that it is the same inside. And I do believe I recognize the architecture. It comes from the era of the Old Republic, and may be thousands of years old. From the strength I feel in the Force here, it may have once been a Jedi outpost or Enclave. Or at least a place that Jedi once resided. Even if there are no surviving records here, I would be able to tell you the nature of the structure if I could examine its layout, though we may not have time for such things. You say you feel the same call you once felt as an initiate? Perhaps that is no accident; perhaps this was once a place for training? If that is so, then maybe we should follow that call? Let us see where it takes us. I will follow you." Kresst suggested.
