In Casual, Advanced and even Free. Readers of those roleplays could rate a roleplay from 1-5 stars.

Doesn't sound like it'll work as expected. I figure people would only rate it either 1 or 5 stars as they do most places with a 5 star rating system. Plus, you'd have review bombers, where people can purposely hit a RP with tons of 1 star reviews for XX reason. If you need an example just look to any company that had made the news in a bad way rather than a good way, and view their yelp reviews, facebook reviews, etc..

@Kuro Yeah, I appreciate the feedback. You have good points, I can believe the rating bombing and the zilch or auto max stars. What I would like to say is that I’ve looked at ratings for mobile games and I swipe through all of them for the lower star amounts and looked for the comments behind the rating of the few 1.5 and 2 1/3 stars. Those few comments seemed believable.

I could see something like a like/dislike ratio such as the one on Youtube or Netflix, but is it truly needed?

@Kuro Probably not needed but I thought of it and was curious what people thought. Thanks for the discussion.

I don't feel that a review system is really necessary when you are just roleplaying with a couple of friends. For the sale of a product, yes a review system works, but this isn't Steam and you can't join an RP unless theGM approves your application anyways.

So if someone gets declined, I think we can guess what rating that user would give the RP.

Also your right no point having a judging party on someone’s creative freedoms. It was a silly suggestion...

@Gareth No suggestion is silly as it might be good in the right situation. Without silly ideas you don't have creative freedom.
