Liz nodded. Her energies focused on healing Roxy. Once the wounds were sealed Liz moved away. She didn't want to push her luck. Liz was very pale and weak from all the healing. She leaned tiredly against the wall.

Kyo walked over to the new addition to the group. Looking at him, he suddenly felt a little self-conscious - even at only maybe a few years older than him, this other boy was obviously in much better physical shape. He tried to push back these feelings, though, taking out a piece of paper and writing a note to the boy.

Myra glanced at David. "Oh hi David how are you?" She asked smiling back, she looked at the note and read it. "Hi I'm Kyo." She took out her pen and wrote. Hi I'm Marshall. "Give this to him." She handed Marshall the note.

Kyo blinked. He couldn't read the paper? He checked his penmanship, but it seemed perfectly legible to him. But... He couldn't read then? Now what? He had no other means of communication, and he couldn't just stand there. But...

Kyo put the pencil and paper back in his pocket, finding something else there. He pulled out one of the peppermints he had gotten earlier, though he couldn't remember how it had gotten into his pocket in the first place. He took it out of the wrapper, which he put back in his pocket, and popped it in his mouth. Peppermint was always so soothing...
