Kosara

Location: Camlann City, Ellington Plaza Theatre

Kosara had walked into the theatre calmly with a normal pace as she did, holding the cut off head of the warg casually as if hse was holding some kind of a trophy. She studied the hallways of the theatre, but htere wasn't anything dangerous around directly visibily. The demons had probably bailed for the shadows, waiting for their chance or simply trying to keep awya from her by some instinct about self preservation, who knew. She did notice the blood trails which meant there were people here originally when the demons first appeared. She gave a silent prayer for the dead as she continued with confident steps further into the building all the way to the doors to the theatre hall proper where the doors opened by themselves.

She looked at it with indifferent expression until they were fully opened as for a proper grand entrance and only then stepped through. Kosara lightly regretted that the screen was torn to shreds and you couldn't see the movie being plaid. The only light was from the projector, so it wasn't the most illuminated place. There was a chill in the air, a chill she noticed quickly and narrowed her eyes, but nothing was showing up. The wall across that was illuminated by the projector seemed damaged from the outside.

There were many a choices to make now, in teh end she decided that the most beneficial thing to do was to actually get some light going on in this place. Her sword was sheathed on her back and her right hand was holding her gun while the left was holding the warg head, so she had sufficient means of attack should something jumps out at her. At worst she'd toss the head at it and draw her sword if she had to. For now though, she figured she'd get the lights running first so she started to search for hte entrance towards hte projection room where the controls probably were.

As the lights turned on, the shadows of the theatre became illuminated, revealing some ghost-like figures as they screamed in shock, retreating through the walls behind them. With what seemed to be a look of contempt, each one disappeared, only for the lights to come off again. Once more Kosara felt the same chill from when she entered the theatre. It appears they were responsible for this. There was on difference though... She found herself tumbling forward in a roll as a concentrated blast of what seemed like cold air swooped around and at her. It seems it was time to hunt.

The ground rumbled as the figure before him shifted. Slowly, it began to turn, using it's colossal arms to pull itself up. Undeniably this was a giant, or titan, so to speak. The ice-like skin, frozen chains jutting out of it, a gaunt and thick face, and a crown of icicles. This titanic beast had a humanoid figure with two arms and legs, though it's feet seemed more like icebergs, and it's hands like sharp claws with tiny sharp icicles jutting out. A grip from this would surely cause some serious damage.

"Who goes there! You must be a fool to wake a sleeping giant!", as he stood on his two legs, he looked down upon Mesmund. The one who woke him.

"Perhaps you wish to become a mid-sleep snack then?!"

Kosara

"Huh..." Kosara mumbled when she realized what the enemies were. THey were flying and floating and noisy. She grimaced for a moment before she tossed the warg head to the side at the seats, having it neatly fall right in the middle of one, as if watching hte impossible to see movie right now. She then pulled her sword and dodged away as more blasts of air came in her direction. The darkness was kind of not nice at this situation. At hte theatre hall it was pretty dark overall even with the movie projector running, it didn't illuminate much without the screen to actually reflect the light. She frowned again as she dodged by virtue of her other senses, mainly she used hte sound the banshees were making as they were attacking at her which mostly sounded like draft across a corridor.

She tried shooting at htem, but it didn't seem to be hitting." Ohh... so... ghosts wanabes." She added and dodged again, slashing at another one that she just sensed above herself, but it wasn't physical so her demonic sword passed through it like it wasn't there, instead to be met with a terrifying sound attack of sorts that caused her ears to hurt like mad and forced her to dodge as far away in a single move as she could."... guns don't work and getting close to static ones don't work... What's the weak point?"

With that confirmed, she noticed that whenever they swoop down to attack her up close, they seem to be interracting with the enviroment which in this case was getting the theatre seats destroyed. So that was the moment to attack. She nodded and dashed towards hte middle lane before aiming her gun and shooting at hte hinges of the door to the entry hall htat was still illuminated, getting a line of light into the movie hall. To her pleasant surprise one of the banshees tried to go for her at the same time, getting a metaphorical deer in headlight look as it got put in it's place. It staggered and she realized something was up, and followed with a dash and a slash, up from the top down to the bottom in one single move, splitting it in two. It wasn't really alive for her to confirm, but she gave it designation dead since there wasn't any activity of it anymore. The others weren't making the same mystake though, they stood out of hte light, so Kosara dashed at them instead.

She dashed, dodged and jumped, delivering hails of bullets at the other 2 until one of them got triggered enough to make a dive for her, turning physical in the process as it got close. Kosara took the chance using her armored gauntlet proceeded to dodge to the side, finally getting enough momentum to leave phantoms and then delivered a devastating punch to the creature before it could turn incorporeal again, staggering it for a good moment, which she used to split it in two and then 2 as she swung at it twice. The last Banshee screamed, causing her ears to hurt, but it didn't get close no matter how she baited it. It just screamed at her and kept away from the reach of her sword. This wasn't working out well, so she decided to go for it once more. She sped up, ran up the wall, arriving by the enemy. It reacted right awya by screeming to get rid of her. She had to admit it was rather painful, but she had an ace up her sleeve. Her earbuds were blasting music at top volume so it didnt disable her as much, despite the pain and she allowed herself to 'slip' and drop on the ground.

Taking hte cue that it's prey was rendered harmless for a moment, the banshee dove for her, but this was what she had planned and as it arrived by her, it was met by the sudden upward slash from the huge sword, cleaving it again into two pieces. Two pieces she right away slashed at again. Having dealt with 3 of htem, she carefully looked around, eyes looking about for another enemy, it wasn't until she confirmed no other banshee was appearing, that she took a breath of relief and proceeded to wipe some blood from the corner of her mouth." Damn... bit myself..." She cursed in embarassement. She had indeed bitten her lip when she faked the slip and fell down.

"A mid-sleep snack? Sounds like something you'd have a bit of a digestion problem with."
Mesmund said. He still held his gun, pointed at the towering ice giant in front of him. Now that the giant was awake, it was evident that there was no turning back from a big fight. Ever since the time he met Vinclum, big fights were never Mesmund's preferences. It hurt a lot mostly, and he couldn't go around slaughtering little ones. Big ones were challenging, yes, but destroying a number of lesser demons and slaying one big guy were different types of things.
But hey, it was worth a shot. Things were getting a bit heated ever since the Draugr anyways.
"I'd rather get myself some icy dessert. Say... that crown of icicles sitting on your head?"
He said. The five barrels pointed at the giant's face, and fired without hesitation.
The game was on.

With the banshees dispatched, the red walls that blocked her path had disappeared, melting away and then vanishing like a fading flame. Up ahead from the back of the theatre was a wall blown out, now crumbling. The theatre's movie curtains fell and showed the hole in the wall in full. She could see out to a street, leading further into the city. There was some signs of chaos, but nothing much, compared to the outskirts that she was in earlier, this was relatively tidy. Was the havoc caused by demons only on the outskirts? That seemed strange. If they rampaged, then they would rampage anywhere they pleased. Regardless the way ahead was clear. An alleyway leading into the main streets. The bus terminal should be just a few blocks down.

A combination of surprise and the sheer power of Mesmund's essentially handcannon created cracks in the icy crown as the giant reeled back. Normally, he would not flinch, but in this case he was surprised by the audacity of this man. He expected a response from the man, but shooting him and insulting him was not one. Most would cower in fear, so to speak. The giant roared in rage as he leaned back forward, swinging his fist along the ground, sweeping it.

Mesmund would jump away without any problem as the ice giant faced him once more, now distance between them. It was going to be a fight.

"You fool! What can a mere human do against a demon?! This is your death wish isn't it?! Then I, Jotunn, shall grant it to you!", with a great roar, the entire car park was beset with ice and snow, as if the voice had called upon a blizzard.

"Rrrgh."
Mesmund frowned as the giant he had startled let out an earsplitting roar into the air. He could feel the atmosphere cool down, probably from the colossal demon's obviously icy aura. He guarded his eyes with his left arm-which was also holding the gun- and lowered it when the roar was finally over.
"I don't like chilly weather. Try having a chain arm."
He complained as he stuffed his right arm into the chain limb, pulling out a handle and a flail of chains that followed after. Time to do his job. Stuffing his gun back to his holster, the hunter charged forward, rolling as a ball of chains and stopping in front of the giant's leg. He propelled himself into the air, and started flailing his weapon violently at the icy limb. The chain head followed his arm, landing blows against the giant demon.

Kosara

As sudden as the fight started, it ended with all the banshees dispatched. Kosara stood still for a moment, having finished wiping out the blood from her lips, the injury had already healed. The tiny injury was gone, but the embarassement of having done it was not as easy to get rid of. It's been a while since she faked a fall like this and honestly it was her own mistake to begin with. Since she was listneing to music, she wasn't singing, but she was moving her mouth without actually making sounds. Because of it when she faked her fall, she bit her tongue.

"Well... at least there wasn't anyone to witness it and the ones who did are all dead." She concluded as she settled her weapons and with a sword in hand hopped over to where the warg head was. It hadn't moved from where she dropped it earlier. With a happy whistle, she picked it up and with the new path opened in front of her, she did a few jumps over to the hole in the wall and jumped through it, appearing on the outside of the Theatre on a alley. It seemed to be leading deeper into the city, but she couldn't help it and noticed that there was not really destruction here. It wasn't normal, but no senseless destruction like on the other side of the theatre. This was weird to her, why weren't demons and other beasts causing a mass destruction here? They normally cared not what they break or damage, unless a big demon gave the others, the lesser demons would just damage anything.

"Hmmm..." She mumbled as she looked left and right. Where to now? SHe could return to the front of the theatre, but the other option was to directly continue forward deeper into the city. Finally she decided to continue down the alleyway and go to the main streets. The bus station should be somewhere close too. Not that she needed a bus ride right now, but it was important to see if it was working right now or have the people ran away or the like. Additionally she was getting hungry, if the bus station was working, maybe there was fast food working aroudn it somewhere. Thus she continued forward.

The ice giant did not falter as the ball of chains smashed against his shin, shattering away an icy armor. As Mesmund rose up to swing away at the titan, he would begin to notice that the ice upon the giant's body was not only active, and regenerative, but also like a kind of armor. The regeneration was not quick, but it could pose some trouble in a more dragged out attack. Thankfully being the kind of fighter he is, he was well-equipped to just smash his way through.

As he was in the air, the ice giant staggered back in response to his strikes, only to come back in again, swinging while Mesmund was suspended in the air. It would not be the only attack mounted against him however, multiple more wide swings of the arm, open clawed palm, attempting to swat him out of the air and then some, before raising his leg up, heaving himself for a gigantic stomp, that would raise pillars of ice around him.

Mesmund could feel the air violently ripple as the giant flailed its limbs in a desperate attempt to swat the hunter down. Before the first could get any near him, the man launched chains to the ground, pulling him back to the solid platform with a loud crash. He bent his knees, taking a short moment to recover as gian limbs flew over his head.
'Watch out.'
Listening to Vinclum's mutter inside his head, Mesmund saw a raised foot over him, coming down with a terrifying shadow over him.
"Oh, what now?"
He complained as he rolled back. Demonic chains embeaced the hunter as he evaded the strike, unrolling the protective layer of chains around him as he landed a few meters from the foot. Pillars of ice rose in the vicinity, but Mesmund jumped out of the way. One particular pillar violently rose next to him, missing him by a finger.
"So that's how we're going, huh?"
Mesmund cocked the barrels forth, chains falling off his arm into the system to reload the weapon as he charged forth past the ice pillars. Aa he cocked the gun back up-completely reloading another good buckshot- he shot chains at the giant and pulled himself back to the foot. Back to personal distance. His flail started ravaging the demon's body again, smashing downward in successive hits. Mesmund took small steps closer with each blow, every hit gettinv heavier and more violent as they landed.

The icy giant had not expected such destructive force from a mere human. As Mesmund smashed away at his feet, he began to stumble back, groaning in a combination of pain and anger, before regaining his footing, to raise the other leg and stomp upon Mesmund's general position. The ice upon his body was being smashed away wherever Mesmund struck, and he began to notice. Moreover those chains and unusual ability...

"You're not human are you?!", he surmised that those chains were in fact, not a human ability.

Jotunn turned to wherever Mesmund had decided to retreat to, or had ended up dodging too. He was enraged that one such as Mesmund would give him this much trouble, and it showed in his speech. Arrogance and disbelief, would inevitably lead him to rushed and savage attacks.

"Yeah, kind of. Can we get this over with now?"
Mesmund said as he dodged a falling leg. Lucky for him, this giant wasn't much of a threat to fight. The hunter reached for his gun, when he had a shadow fall over him again. It wasn't a burst of stomps this time, it was a violent flurry of icy limbs. Mesmund rolled away just in time to dodge the second stomp. Feeling small rubbles of the ground hit his face, the hunter shot strands of chain from his left arm as an arm came for him. He'd have to end this fast. Without hesitation he pulled himself up.

.

"..."
His face was feeling a bit numb. He thought he'd fly up fast enough, but the giant's fist was stronger. Mesmund pulled his aching body up the ground and drew his gun. Using the short extra moment the giant was caught in his momentum of violence, Mesmund landed another buckshot of chains into the demon's body. The gun was pocketed hastily back into its place as Mesmund instinctly felt threatened.
"Come on, how many more tricks did you stuff in your icy head?"
He complained as the giant leapt into the air. Mesmund rolled away in a ball of chains as Jotunn landed on the spot the hunter remained a few seconds ago. Freezing, piercing wind littered the arena with a cold aura.
The giant demon curled up with a malevolent sigh, the air around him rapidly cooling. He encased himself in thick layer of ice that grew dangerously thicker every moment.
"Not doing your game anymore."
Mesmund muttered as he ran away from the cocoon of ice. Soon after he heard an earsplitting sound of ice cracking, the impact of the shatter missing him by an inch, as Jotunn stood up again. The demon growled at the hunter.
"What's the matter fool, too scared to fight?"
He taunted.
"About that."
Mesmund answered as he pulled himself onto Jotunn once again. This time the hunter was faster, reaching the giant's face before his fist reached the man. Mesmund's flail struck without hesitation. Mesmund hammered down at the giant's head. Each strike becoming more violent and destructive. Ice shards flew around as Mesmund mercilessly caved in the giant's skull.
Jotunn was apparently swaying when Mesmund finished his beating.
"Im...possible... a mere... human..."
Mesmund raised his flail one last time and smashed it deep into the demon's face.
