Lauren gave her a genuine smile. "Welcome to the Halcyon, my name's Lauren. Just wait here a bit, I need to stay here to see if more students come. What's your name??"
Lori noticed the smile and attempted a smile back, but it just looked like a nervous grin. "My name's Aloria" Lori said before quickly finishing the sentence with "-but please call me Lori".

"Of course," Lauren said, and noticed the girl's nervousness, "Hey, I know this is hard, but I'll be here for you," she said in a soft voice as she crouched down and wrapped an arm around her shoulder, "It's gonna be ok," she said with a comforting smile. Besides, she thought, at least you have your memory
Lori looked up at Lauren and smiled back. "Thanks for that". Maybe making friends would be easier then she thought. Being raised by a church, she didn't get a lot of chances to make friends. "Since, I'm going to be apart of Halcyon with you, is there anything I can do to help?".

"Well, not really at the moment, sorry we have to wait here, but I'm the only person who really knows what they're doing right now," she said, "Once everyone gets set up, the leaders of each faction will show the new kids where to go." she sighed tiredly and sat down on the step, "if no more new ones come then the Administration will make the announcement for dinner." she smiled at Lori, "Pizza tonight,"

Addilyn walked up to the school smiling slightly, she wandered for a little outside. "Hello?"

Lauren straightened up and smiled, "Welcome to the Academy," with that she dropped the bomb, and explained the reality of the Academy. ((xD sorry I'm feeling a little lazy at the moment and don't really want to type it out again)) "So, choose a factoin."
Lori sat beside Lauren and put her hands in her lap. "Pizza sounds good right now, I think I've only had it once though".

Andrew was interested in the Halyongroup, but kept his distance. His clothinrefected his mood: old sneakers, ripped jeans, a white t-shirt, black trench coat, and fingerless leather gloves. There were lots of people, and it made him uncomfortable.

"Huh?" Andrew said. "Well, no... I was thinking. I... I..." He was fumbling for words, as usual, when he talked to a girl.

She smiled, "It's alright, basically the Academy isn't what you think it is, you can't leave and there are no teachers, only us and the Administration. You have to pick a faction, Halcyon, Savant, or Sedition. Each get their own jobs and responsibilities, so which do you want to join? Oh, and dinner's soon so you should choose soon." she said and smiled

Halcyon. The name had an air of nobility to it, like the Halcyon-class cruiser from Halo. The others... Andrew found the names distasteful. "I-I wanna join Halcyon," he declared.

"Great, Welcome, I'm Lauren, the leader, this is Lori and Addilyn," just as she finished speaking a cold, automated voice boomed throughtout the whole campus, "All students report to dining hall for dinner. Welcome to the Academy." The voice cut off and Lauren smiled, "Cmon, I'll show you guys our housing later, let's eat." she said as she lead them into a large dining area with three tables formed into a U shape with faction names on them facing a cafeteria styled kitchen. PIzza stood steaming on the cafeteria window with varieties of toppings and soda was on the other end. "Go ahead" she said, gesturing to the pizza. She waited for the other people from Savant and Sedition to show up.

Addilyn took a plate reluctantly. "Where do we sit?"
Thomas, despite his poor family was wearing a suit, not necessarily a good suit but he spent his last cents on trying to make a good impression at this academy. He a saw a group of people and approached them, he directed his gaze at the girl who seemed to run the place "Greetings!"

"The table to the right," Lauren said with a smile and added, "Lighten up, it's pizza." she said with a smile. She turned to the greeting and saw the boy, obviously trying to make an impression to the prep school he thought he was entering. "Hello, I'm Lauren, Welcome to the Academy." She said and handed him a brochure, she had grabbed them inside, it had all the information on the factions and what the academy really was. "Please read this," she said and waited for him to react
