Cesidia nods and looks at Dharichar. “Yes, my love?”

Jonathan raises his eyebrows. “Don’t tell her I said this, but I thought she was pulling our leg when she told us about being engaged to him. Or maybe he’s playing her? She has a ring but still. Who’s to say it’s not to capture her soul or something?” He speaks quietly, so only she can hear him.

Arthur grins. “That’s alright. We can make time, and maybe your bride to be can get me some time with her maid.”

Jonathan grits his teeth. “My sister was somewhat normal before she met you. She had one fear and you took that from her. She’s talking about becoming a demon, living in hell of all places, and she’s happy about it. She deserves more, and we both know it. She deserves a good life, a normal life.”

Cesidia looks like she’d been slapped.

Arthur takes deep breaths to try to keep calm.

His eyes glow, and the ground under his feet crack. "Why do you wish to condemn her to a 'normal' life? You want her to grow old, to suffer and die? You dare assume that I won't let her life a good, long, happy life before I fully claim her soul?" He chuckles deep in his chest. "You want to see the world you hate so much?" A glowing red tear splits open next to him. "Look at it then."

Jonathan snarls. "And you wish to condemn her to that hellhole! What kind of place is that to raise a child?! Has she ever told you that she's always dreamed of having a family dog? A normal one, not a hellhound! And she despised your kind more than I do!"

Cesidia takes a deep breath, then yells, "ENOUGH! Both of you! I'm more than capable of figuring out what I want and what I need, and you more than anyone, brother, should know better than to argue with me and I stand by my choices. I chose my heart, wherever it may lead. So that means Dharichar and everything and anything he comes with, so you can either be happy for me, shut the hell up and stick through it, or leave." Her fists are clenched and she's breathing hard from her fury.

Arthur frowns and gently grips Margaret's shoulders. "This isn't your fault. It has nothing to do with you. I'm honestly surprised it hasn't happened sooner, but it was inevitable. Alright? Please don't blame yourself."

"I was raised there, and I have more common sense then most of you mortals!" His body begins glowing. "She's changed. For the better, I think. Why can't you?" He snarls. "And she can have one if she wishes. I'm not forcing my infernal heritage on anyone. This is her choice, and hers alone." He takes a deep breath, doing his best to calm down before something/one catches fire.
