I'm working on a Chinese post. I also need someone to volunteer as a Russian NPC-controller, an EU controller, and a Japan. I am willing to take one of the none-EU NPCs, but I have a hefty work load, so all three is impossible for me.

My Chinese post should be up before lunch tomorrow (my time, GMT+8).

I can handle the EU if you want, but you need to answer me something, I was expecting that you would be the one to, at each of our post, say exactly how our efforts and plans go. Is this the case or is it to us to determine that? (The thing is you expect most people to have near perfect recovery, total acceptance of policies, etc, if that's the case)

Wernher... It is advanced, so I feel that everyone should be able to come to agreements like adults, and I shouldn't have to hold everyone's hands... I trust everyone to make decisions on their own. :)

Yes, indeed, what I'm talking about is the unforeseenable. Natural disasters, the ebola epidemic spreading, the economy having another meltdown and so forth. I'd find it funny to see this whole ebola business to go global, but I can't really force that on people now can I?

By NPC controller, what do you mean? I guess it isn't using the neutral army towards my own (the US)'s benefit.

It means that you would be controlling them. Sort of like how your control your own nation, but slightly less involved. Like... Deciding their actions on a global stage, and internal stage, but only when others mention them.

For instance, if China wanted to attack Japan, I would PM the NPC-controller of Japan and let them know and they'd tell me how Japan would react and we'd discuss the outcome, but the controller wouldn't directly write from Japan's perspective.

I see. I'm still not going to go for it, since I have some stuff to do with Russia that would give me an unfair advantage.

I think it would be important for something major to happen to the whole Romanian business, either thing settling down or on the contrary heating up since in game its been 2 months Romania has been on the fence. France as expressed that it will not tolerate further Russian expansion and has taken steps to arm itself and form a sizable force as well as seize Russian assets and freeze any debt repayment to Russia or Russian companies. While I doubt the scale of things would be as large in other parts of Europe, especially in poorer countries, I'd expect everyone to be more than willing to seize Russian assets and stop debt repayment.

Also, the 5 billion gift to Russia, is this something official or given under the table?

It is proposed, as of now, nothing official yet... Not on the record of the meeting, and not done yet...

As for the Romania crisis, I'm going to be making a February Post soon.

Warthog, I have a question.

I've noticed that Russia's become free to play, or at least it's currently being NPC'd. Now, I know that I have put up a Canadian NS, but hear me out here...

I'd like to apply for the position of NPC-controller/player of Russia. This will, of course, mean that Canada will not be played by me, but I have someone who is prepared to play the Canadians instead of me.

Is this workable? If not, then there's no real problem, but if so, it would be a joy for me to play as the Russians.

Two things, mate.

1. If you NPC Russia, you could still PLAY Canada, if you so please.

2. If you PLAY Russia, then you'll need someone to either take Canada or NPC Canada. :)
