It’s roughly noon. Still plenty of daylight for people to be out working. The scouting had been done at a fairly early morning, Took like two hours tops. Than another two hours just to reach the hamlet.

There are faded footprints leading up to the chapel going around the back, likely a rear entrance. You’d also notice that the front of the chapel has marks in the door that looks like someone tried and failed to force their way in. There’s no windows or anything fancy here but there are some rafters high up that provide illumination during the day, so it’s possible to send Nox in to see what’s inside.

I've just noticed a small error. You mentioned earlier that the distance between the docks and the chapel was 50 feet. But when Talogan used his divine sense, which has a range of 60 feet, you said the presence was beyond the furthest reaches of his divine sense. If it's actually within range, can Talogan discern anything else about the chapel?

The implication is that there is some sort of source of profane energy that overlaps pass the chapel itself. In other words, the profane energy is not coming from the chapel, but it’s energy is big enough to cover the just the chapel as you and the crew were looking around.

Considering that due to the weird shape of the world most of the land masses surround a single ocean, there’s really only two seas and then the vast ocean between everything. Though the waters near land masses are definitely a different feel than the waters near the center ost part of the ocean, so those are usually referred to as seas. But those are more political boundaries than true geographical seas.

Are you aware that one of Talogan's orders was for Tayang and the others who aren't Kulee or Oliver to follow Talogan into the chapel?

Crew Orders: Talogan orders Kulee and Oliver to search the huts for plunder while the others follow the captain into the chapel and search it for loot, though holy water takes priority.

Without a Detect Magic or Identify, what you can tell is that this is some form of healing potion, albeit a much more powerful one. What it's exactly function is however, you won't know.
