With these mechanics, there are a number of different maneuvers available to her which I will list below:
*Mock Telekinesis: Basically the ability to pick up, hold, or throw things using the mind. However, gravity is used and not psychic force.
*Mock Strength: Using the same mechanics in a different way of Mock Telekinesis, Hope can simulate super strength by making objects weightless or pulling them in the direction she wants them to go as she holds them.
*Mock Endurance: As an instinctual response, Hope's limbs are not moved by her body the majority of the time. They are moved by her mind as her body wills them to move, resulting in gravity adjusting in a minor manor to accommodate, which is why her prosthetic arm moves exactly like a real one while maintaining no feeling or mechanically controlled parts. What this means is that she does not suffer from physical or respiratory fatigue quite as easily, and is instead limited by her mental fatigue.
*Mock Flight: It's really more of a controlled free-fall, but Hope can travel freely through the air at a speed of nearly 3 times terminal velocity for a human form. She has less control than normal flight and cannot adjust direction as easily, especially backwards, but she can instead utilize a more controlled form of this flight by propelling herself from surfaces or creating gravity wells in the air as anchors to "slingshot" herself in a desired direction.

*Perfect Orientation: Whatever Hope decides to say is the ground is the ground. And that's final. As Hope sees the world, it rotates around herself instead of the other way around, her brain adapting to use her ability more effectively. Hope never becomes dizzy or disoriented and cannot lose her balance. Just like the fake waiter with a bottle glued to the tray, wherever her feet find themselves to be is treated like the ground on a neutral plane, leaving her able to stand on speeding or shaking platforms with no difficulty. She can deploy gravity fields in any number she can actively pay attention to in any complexity she can focus on with a cumulative area of 7800 sq. ft. and cumulative force of 3 Gs.
*Gravity Well: Hope can create anchors in space that pull with gravity or push with anti-gravity, becoming stronger or weaker based on the distance to the gravity well.
*Vertigo: While not special in and of itself, Hope Thomas has used this defensive maneuver multiple times on occasion. With extreme concentration, Hope can form a twisting, heaving gravity field around a target's head, giving it extreme dizziness, throwing it off balance, distorting its vision, etc. This takes all of her concentration, and Hope normally cannot even float inside her own zero gravity while using this.
(Notes: While the maneuver is immediate, it functions similarly to a charged attack. While Hope is using this ability, she cannot be interrupted and cannot take significant action just like a charge attack. It must be sustained by her or the effect breaks, and she is only able to sustain it for around 1 1/2 minutes before she can no longer maintain the focus to keep up her field.)

+Maneuverable: Because Hope maintains complete control over her own locomotion and movement within her environment while maintaining the ability to disrupt others, it's nearly impossible to chase her or otherwise outmaneuver her. Anyone who tries will find themselves quickly outmatched, slamming into walls and ceilings, their jumps falling to short or overshooting themselves with adjusted weight while she gracefully vaults through the area unhindered by Earth's most basic force.
+Projectile-Resistant: Using projectile-based attacks against Hope can be extremely frustrating. Slower projectiles, such as thrown knives or arrows from a bow, will find themselves deflected at short ranges, while bullets curve around her at long ranges with ample preparation. At closer ranges, Hope can disrupt firearms by changing the weight of it or pulling the muzzle in any direction to throw off its user's aim. Normal objects thrown at normal speeds are nearly completely harmless.
+Melee-Killer: Most melee fighters will grow weary of her as well. Hope can easily maintain a healthy distance from slower adversaries and toss them around like ragdolls. It is advised that a purely melee fighter with an average speed stay on her good side or don't approach her alone.
+Creativity Kills: Hope's ability is very malleable, allowing her to think up new uses for it and affording her many options available to her in a tight spot.
+Spatial Genius: As a side effect of her brain adapting to her ability, Hope Thomas has a savant level of spatial intelligence. While almost not worth noting, Hope is the kind of person who can solve a Rubix Cube in a handful of seconds or solve ring puzzles equally as fast. This can manifest itself in combat through laying traps and developing strategies with other fighters or maintaining a tactical advantage by remembering a building's structure.
Any relevant weaknesses:
-Frail: Hope is physically weak, much more so than the average person. As her gravitational abilities have taken over her movement, her muscles have atrophied to the point of near uselessness, and a young child could overpower her without the use of her abilities. -Killed by Energy: Any non-physical projectile, such as energy or magic, isn't normally affected by gravity. Therefore she can't stop them like she could someone with a firearm.
-Psychotic: Hope is mentally ill, a victim of bipolar disorder with signs of borderline personality disorder. She is prone to irrational thoughts and sometimes is unable to focus or think things through. She is unpredictable and rash and easy to provoke, making it a simpler task to break her concentration. She is extremely vulnerable to psychics, and they will find it easy to penetrate her mental defenses and damage her.
-Migraines: When using her powers strenuously, Hope is prone to increased mental pain in the form of migraines. As a battle wears on and she consistently must focus and manipulate gravity, her pain increases, distracting her focus and making her less capable to carry on fighting. In addition, her mental symptoms worsen. If a fight drags on long enough, Hope will incapacitate herself from extreme mental pain and inability to form rational thought.
Personality: Hope isn't a very pleasant person to be around. She's emotional, abrasive, an attention whore, a drama queen, and a self-serving prick. She's a victim of bipolar disorder and is prone to emotional flip-flops or outbursts and strange behavior. Hope is generally mean and distrusting of those around her to the point of paranoid delusions and isn't shy to accuse of such. She's impulsive and rarely thinks things through more than the next step ahead, and sometimes not even then. She can become violent somewhat easily, but just as easily will burst into tears or act frightened for little reason or cause. In one of her more aggressive moods, she does what she wants and to hell with everyone else. In a more depressed one, she's content to sulk around and cry and seek out pity from others. Truth is, Hope is an extremely sad individual not even safe within the confines of her own mind, and is far beyond the point of no return from her condition or her deeds.
History/Backstory: Hope Thomas was born a mutant, a human being with extraordinary powers. From the changing of DNA influenced by random factors during pregnancy, a mutant gains unnatural abilities. 1 in 100 people are born mutants, 1 in 100 of those have active abilities, 1 in 10 of those have desirable traits that go along with that mutation, and 1 in 10 of those individuals are enhanced by a significant degree far above human limitations. Hope was one of these few. Mutants in her universe are not looked upon in a favorable light. They are feared, treated as inhuman, and denied basic rights that most take for granted. She awakened to her powers around adolescence, after which trouble followed her everywhere she went. Hope never made any friends, was constantly looked upon with scorn and cast out from society at large. Her family changed their name and moved several times throughout her life with them, until she ran away from home at the age of 16. Without a high school education and with a sketchy background that was either made up and spotted as fake or contained information that she was a mutant, Hope never found a job. To make matters worse, it was about this time that her bipolar disorder began to develop enough to be noticeable.
She spent a number of years homeless until she was admitted to a psychiatric ward. While she had tried to keep her powers hidden, they eventually manifested, and she was handed over to the government for "containment". This "containment" was actually a scientific research project on how to prevent mutations in individuals or give them to favorable VIPs. They underestimated her, and eventually Hope escaped. She was 19.
After her escape, she was inducted into a pro-mutant group comprised of a handful of mutants like herself, anarchists, and human rights fanatics. She became a crusader for the pro-mutant cause, adopting the online name of "Wisp" in various formats wherever she could, spreading awareness of her own oppression and the oppression of those like her. This "mutant rights activism" soon turned violent as their support grew larger with leaked government documents and videos, and large protests occurred on both sides. It was when she was driving to a friend's house after one of these protests when a vehicle ran her off the road. Her car crashed into a tree, pinning her arm. The other vehicle belonged to a government task force assigned to hunting her down, and she was captured once again. Her arm was amputated in the process. She spent nearly another year at the next facility, be tested on day after day. They drugged her with morphine to keep her abilities suppressed and as pain relief for her missing arm, and she became addicted to them and other painkillers over time. Again she escaped, when she hid the fact that their newest pain medication was inadequate and didn't fog her mind like the others. She spent the next 2 years homeless again, moving from city to city and running from anyone who could possibly lead her back to the government's labs. One day, after years of running and hiding and being abused and subjected to the life of a lesser person, Hope Thomas decided to use the gift she was born with how she believed she was meant to use it. To be better than the normal people.
Over the week, Hope adopted the name of Wisp, her online alter ego, seeing it fitting that a name that spoke out against her mistreatment should also be the one to act upon it. She went on a rampage, destroying what she would and taking what she wanted and doing as she pleased. There wasn't a force that could stop her. But she was still mortal. The people reacted quickly and the National Guard was called in to deal with her. She was cornered in a video store, unaware to the looming threat that presented itself with a hail of gunfire. In an open, grassy field, Hope is screwed if she wants to actually damage her opponent. She has no other option than to run.
-Context Cues: Because of Hope's long hair, even if her opponent is unaware of which way she is bending or about to bend gravity, if they are aware of the true nature of her power the sway of her hair would give it away.
-Killed by Energy: Any non-physical projectile, such as energy or magic, isn't normally affected by gravity. Therefore she can't stop them like she could someone with a firearm.
-Psychotic: Hope is mentally ill, a victim of bipolar disorder with signs of borderline personality disorder. She is prone to irrational thoughts and sometimes is unable to focus or think things through. She is unpredictable and rash and easy to provoke, making it a simpler task to break her concentration. She is extremely vulnerable to psychics, and they will find it easy to penetrate her mental defenses and damage her.
-Migraines: When using her powers strenuously, Hope is prone to increased mental pain in the form of migraines. As a battle wears on and she consistently must focus and manipulate gravity, her pain increases, distracting her focus and making her less capable to carry on fighting. In addition, her mental symptoms worsen. If a fight drags on long enough, Hope will incapacitate herself from extreme mental pain and inability to form rational thought.
Personality: Hope isn't a very pleasant person to be around. She's emotional, abrasive, an attention whore, a drama queen, and a self-serving prick. She's a victim of bipolar disorder and is prone to emotional flip-flops or outbursts and strange behavior. Hope is generally mean and distrusting of those around her to the point of paranoid delusions and isn't shy to accuse of such. She's impulsive and rarely thinks things through more than the next step ahead, and sometimes not even then. She can become violent somewhat easily, but just as easily will burst into tears or act frightened for little reason or cause. In one of her more aggressive moods, she does what she wants and to hell with everyone else. In a more depressed one, she's content to sulk around and cry and seek out pity from others. Truth is, Hope is an extremely sad individual not even safe within the confines of her own mind, and is far beyond the point of no return from her condition or her deeds.
History/Backstory: Hope Thomas was born a mutant, a human being with extraordinary powers. From the changing of DNA influenced by random factors during pregnancy, a mutant gains unnatural abilities. 1 in 100 people are born mutants, 1 in 100 of those have active abilities, 1 in 10 of those have desirable traits that go along with that mutation, and 1 in 10 of those individuals are enhanced by a significant degree far above human limitations. Hope was one of these few. Mutants in her universe are not looked upon in a favorable light. They are feared, treated as inhuman, and denied basic rights that most take for granted. She awakened to her powers around adolescence, after which trouble followed her everywhere she went. Hope never made any friends, was constantly looked upon with scorn and cast out from society at large. Her family changed their name and moved several times throughout her life with them, until she ran away from home at the age of 16. Without a high school education and with a sketchy background that was either made up and spotted as fake or contained information that she was a mutant, Hope never found a job. To make matters worse, it was about this time that her bipolar disorder began to develop enough to be noticeable.
She spent a number of years homeless until she was admitted to a psychiatric ward. While she had tried to keep her powers hidden, they eventually manifested, and she was handed over to the government for "containment". This "containment" was actually a scientific research project on how to prevent mutations in individuals or give them to favorable VIPs. They underestimated her, and eventually Hope escaped. She was 19.
After her escape, she was inducted into a pro-mutant group comprised of a handful of mutants like herself, anarchists, and human rights fanatics. She became a crusader for the pro-mutant cause, adopting the online name of "Wisp" in various formats wherever she could, spreading awareness of her own oppression and the oppression of those like her. This "mutant rights activism" soon turned violent as their support grew larger with leaked government documents and videos, and large protests occurred on both sides. It was when she was driving to a friend's house after one of these protests when a vehicle ran her off the road. Her car crashed into a tree, pinning her arm. The other vehicle belonged to a government task force assigned to hunting her down, and she was captured once again. Her arm was amputated in the process. She spent nearly another year at the next facility, be tested on day after day. They drugged her with morphine to keep her abilities suppressed and as pain relief for her missing arm, and she became addicted to them and other painkillers over time. Again she escaped, when she hid the fact that their newest pain medication was inadequate and didn't fog her mind like the others. She spent the next 2 years homeless again, moving from city to city and running from anyone who could possibly lead her back to the government's labs. One day, after years of running and hiding and being abused and subjected to the life of a lesser person, Hope Thomas decided to use the gift she was born with how she believed she was meant to use it. To be better than the normal people.
Over the week, Hope adopted the name of Wisp, her online alter ego, seeing it fitting that a name that spoke out against her mistreatment should also be the one to act upon it. She went on a rampage, destroying what she would and taking what she wanted and doing as she pleased. There wasn't a force that could stop her. But she was still mortal. The people reacted quickly and the National Guard was called in to deal with her. She was cornered in a video store, unaware to the looming threat that presented itself with a hail of gunfire. Cowering under a counter as everything around her was ripped apart, Hope's vision changed suddenly. She was in Punk Town. On the edge of an anxiety attack, Hope fled into an alleyway to continue freaking out. Was she dead? Did the soldiers get her in the head and this was the afterlife? ...Or was this a mental breakdown? Was her rampage a mental breakdown? When did it start!?
