Twenty comfortably, thirty if you're willing to reconvert the current prison quarters into a crew quarter.

Out of curiosity, does Keratia have any sort of holiday or celebration similar to Halloween?

Has Kulee ever made mention of where he came from? Judging from the mostly nautical elements of his name, I have a feeling he came from somewhere closer to the sea than to the mountains goliaths typically call home.

If no one directly asked, he doesn't really explain. At most he'd tell you that Fishbones isn't his surname, that's more of a nickname he's gain for his penchant for eating fish bones. Searock is also not really part of his official name, though this one he does say his family gave him because of his affinity towards seafaring over mountaineering. Kulee at least is his actual given name, but what his family name and his clans is, he has not openly divulged.

I asked a question the other day and have yet to receive an answer.

Does Keratia have any sort of holiday or celebration similar to Halloween?

Keratia as a whole? No, but some countries celebrate something thematically similar. In the Valerie Circle in honor Greenford during the events of the Twin Suns they celebrate Saint Kharnor's Day, which has the towns folk dress up as various types of undead while decorating their homes with symbols of claymores, detailed magic runes, and bagpipes, while the children dress up as various adventuring archetypes as they "defend" the town from the undead and receive "loot" in the form of sweets and other gifts for children.

The Kingdom of Bray celebrate a different sort of holiday called the Wolf Harvest, which is more of a harvest festival with a wolf theme. As the Kingdom of Bray had a werewolf problem for a long time, children would dress up as wolves and try to "steal" treats and snacks left out for them, while other children (Typically ones who have to stay home) would try to defend their homes from these wolves in a game that's basically tag. It can get pretty competitive to the point that it's not unusual for young adults to play.

Both the Trasis Republic and Doros share a sea based Holiday called Howling Night where mostly adults sail to the ocean with no form of illumination and dive into the ocean during a certain time of the year. They do this due to a rare breed of shellfish that would be reaching maturity at this year. These shellfish reach their full maturity when exposed to light (typically sunlight), but if harvested right before this moment they would have very delicious meat that sell for a very good price. Their shells also make for unique instruments, hence why it's called the Howling Night, as the sea breeze alone can cause these shells to emanate a rather haunting melody that can scare more weak willed sailors.

If I were to hire acolytes, priests, cultists, or cult fanatics would I have any input on who or what they are devoted to or would you be deciding that?

For the most part, I'll be the one deciding that. Generally speaking though the lower level ones (Acolytes and Cultists) are not firmly rooted into their faiths, merely trained via various temples or cults, so while they may have some traditions or ideals they'd stick to they usually aren't too hardcore about it. Priests and Fanatics however are much more dedicated to their respective gods, which naturally would mean they might not play well with you. Conversely, if you go out of your way to specifically search for priests or fanatics who worship your deities or otherwise would ally with your god, you may find them easier to obtain than if you simply recruit whoever is offering their services.

In short, anyone you don't actively need to recruit for are generally low level but also low faith, so don't worry too much about religious clashes. But if you actively want one who would fit Talogan beliefs, you'll have to IC look for them or just take your chances with whoever I randomly create.

While we're on the subject of Keratian holidays, are there any that are similar to Guy Fawkes Night?

You can see that Tayang's been patched up. Not perfectly mind you, but he's not at any risk of infection or further harm as of this moment.

Sorry for taking so long to say this, but I hope you have a happy new year.

I am also sorry for not being the most patient person in the world over the course of the previous year. It is a failing of mine, and I have made overcoming it my new year's resolution.

The fact you're still here despite me not posting in two months is a good testament for your patience. But thank you for your time nonetheless.

You say that like I haven't been prodding you constantly all through those two months.

Either way, thank you as well for DMing this game. I'm really enjoying it so far. Can't wait to see where this goes.
