Lauren laid in her bed after the announcement went off and closed her eyes, drifting off to sleep.
Lori had already been in her room, as she finished half of her unpacking she decided to call it a night and went to sleep.

All the doors on campus clicked simultaneously around the school at 11 pm, ending the first day at the Academy for the students.
The sun rose softly over the trees the next morning. Light streamed through all windows, an announcement came over the speakers at 7 am, "All students must be in the dining hall by 8 am." The automated voice announced, and all the doors unlocked themselves for the students. Lauren got out of bed and went into the bathroom shared with three other Halcyon girls to shower and get ready for the day. she yawned and hopped into the shower, then went into her room to get changed. She pulled on black jeans, combat boots, and a green button up shirt with her favourite aviator's jacket. She combed her hair on her bed and went downstairs to the living room, waiting for her faction to assemble.

Addilyn got out of bed and stumbled over to the showers she took a long shower and when she got out she brushed her hair and quickly changed when she got done brushing her hair she went back to the bathroom to brush her teeth. "Done." She muttered to herself, walking out of the bathroom she noticed the halls weren't badly filled. She smiled and took of the gray jacket on her outfit deeming it to hot to be wearing one. She looked around for Lauren and when she found her she stopped and waved at her. "Hey Lauren how are you today?" Addilyn asked walking up to her.

"Fine, thanks," Lauren said with a smile, "How'd you sleep?" she asked. She leaned on one of the sofas as she talked, relaxed and smiling. She was genuinely excited to start the day.

Addilyn joined her on the sofa and relaxed. "I slept well, you?"

"Like a rock," Lauren said with a grin, "We'll wait for the majority to get down here then we'll head out."

Addilyn nodded and set her jacket on the armchair. "What does this school have?' She asked curiously, she wondered if they had a swimming pool.

Roxy lead the way to the dorm. She wanted to see what sort of place they had been given. Roxy totally planned to claim the top floor as her own. She figured the boys would be a separate floor. But that was ok, Roxy was use to being on her own. The building didn't look too bad. It would make a decent head quarters.
"Well, i should choose my room now." said Khriz, choosing a room in the first floor."

"A track, a pool, woods, a feild, an open air pavailion, and...I think that's it for cool stuff," Lauren said with a smile. "Do you do any sports?"
Thomas woke a few minutes after the announcement but rose a additional 5 minutes later. He dragged himself out of bed, put some fresh clothing on and made his way to find the rest of halcyon

Lauren looked up as Thomas entered the living room, "Hi, Thomas, how'd you sleep?" she asked pleasantly.

Addilyn nodded. "My mom made me do every sport I could each year, she said it was good for my health." She smiled at Lauren and looked up at Thomas or whatever his name was.
"Hello Lauren! I slept well! Yourself?" He noted the girl sitting next to her, he would make introductions later

"Great, thanks." she said with a smile, "This is Addilyn, by the way, now let's get to breakfast, I'm starving." she said and scribbled out a note on a scrap piece of paper for the others who hadn't woken up yet that they went to the dining hall. "Alright, let's go." she said and walked out into the morning. The sun shone down on the path and on the academy. She lead her group into the dining hall where the scent of pancakes, eggs, and bacon wafted around. "Go ahead." Lauren said with a smile. She waited for the others to get to the dining hall, she would have to tell everyone about their jobs.

Addilyn took a plate and smiled at Thomas, she sat down and waited for the others to join. "So do we have to do anything today?"

"Well, we have classes and I have to get everyone used to their jobs. I'll explain more when the other factions get here." Lauren said and sat down with a plate of pancakes, eggs, and bacon. She sat chewing on her food and waited for the Savant and Sedition kids to get to the dining hall
Thomas smiled back at addilyn he then turned to look at Lauren at the mention of classes, for now Thomas was confused was this not a pace where they do what they like? "Uh.. Pardon Lauren but did you say we had classes?"

Lauren nodded with a sigh, "Yep, normal classes, but also classes on the rules of the Administration. Don't worry we only have four a day, they're taught by the Savant." Lauren said, "We have math, literature, science, and Administration policies. The only one that the Administration cares about is the one about their rules." Lauren said with a shrug. She took another bite of pancake, she savored the food, wondering what it would be like once the Sedition took control of the kitchen. The Administration would monitor them closely, but it obviously wouldn't be great at first.

Gwen jumped off the truck, she was the only one on it and the trip had been rather lonely. She entered the gates, unsure where to go she wandered around until the distinct smell of delicious breakfast food drew her to a building that could only be a cafeteria of some sort. Gathering confidence she entered the dining hall and looked for someone who could answer her questions.
