Hey, not sure if this is a known bug or anything (or even a bug at all?), I just came across it and thought that it was weird.

So apparently the General Interest Check forum has more topics that posts, I was like: 'hmmm how can that be the case?' and had a quick look. Of the entire forum, less than one tenth of it is actual visible posts/threads, the first 153 pages. The rest of the 1,687 are just blank, with no listed threads. Math checks out that the site counts all of these blank pages as being full of topics (1687 x 25 = 42175) which is approximately similar to what the current topic count for General Int Checks is, the actual number is a bit less (perhaps because the last pages of the visible/invisible posts aren't full?).

So yeah, unless mods stash hidden/deleted threads there or something (perhaps from when we were being spammed by all the bots?), the forum appears to be bugged.

Anyway, I did search before hand to see if anyone else had mentioned it before, didn't see that anyone had, so I thought I should point it out just in case.

Thanks for listening!

When threads are deleted, they still exist in the database, but are inaccessible (even to admins) without direct database access. Even with that factored in, I highly doubt we've deleted ten times as many threads as there are legitimate ones. I'll investigate this further.
