I'm trying to think up ideas for us to play out and i'm wondering about possibly having Kay abducted by either Angels, demons or some random downworlder/mage to be used as leverage for an opposing party. AKA Angels take her to excel an war between them and demons, downworlder/mage taking her to either sell to the demons or to the angels or to use against John and co. what do you think? Just trying to finds ways of moving the story forward and have kay actually doing something

I had a idea that the new markings are people needing her healing and hope. They are targets of a nasty demon that feeds off the sorrow and grief of others. And feeds until there’s nothing left. But you idea should come after. I like it. Maybe another mage, giving John a chance to use his battle magic finally.

Indeed. Oooh what if a mage was cloaked from John and was at the house in the crowd to just watch on to see if Kay was the real deal as word was getting round the downworld of a living phoenix and how demons wanted her, and that's how he decided to take her for his own gain? Giving John and co an ultimatum of some kind. Maybe like, John needs to do something for them to get Kay back or he's selling her to the demons as there's a hefty price tag on her head? A bit like that episode of his solo show when the mage wanted John to get rid of a dog demon for Geraldine's soul.
