May ran along the top of buildings in Death City the moon above laughing as she and her weapon partner ran together watching for any pre-Kishins or evil. She used soul perception occasionally and had yet to pin point any. She did have soul perception but it was not as strong as her mothers yet so it didn't always pick up souls but it could be helpful. Suddenly she heard a loud high pitch scream and she turned her head towards the noise her long white hair settling on her shoulders since it was no longer flowing behind her from the fast running. May looked over at her partner giving a slight smirk with her shark teeth.

"Haru, you hungry?" May asked the blue haired boy who was about a month younger than her. She turned her head towards where another scream had come from, then she took off. May stopped at the edge of a roof and looked down into an alley where a group of five men were terrorizing two girls who seemed to be eighteen or so. "Men can be so gross sometimes..." May said glaring her red eyes towards them.
May hopped down landing behind them silently. "So you five are pre-kishin I see." May said her eyes closed as she read their souls. The give turned their attention towards May allowing the two girls to escape. "You little freak! You let our pleasure and meal get away." One of them growled, "you will have to do though." He added as they walked towards her. May took her jacket off and cracked her knuckles. "Red Star you know what to do." She said holding her hands out. Her red eyes narrowing at the men causing them to flinch slightly from the sight of the strange red eyes.

"Did you even have to ask?" The blue haired teen asked with a smirk. "A weapon like me is bound to work up a big appetite. So Ihope i can trust you to treat me to a big meal.'" A bit of his father's confidence shined through but at least he didn't have the same cocky oversized ego. a little confidence was necessary to move forward and believe in not only one's self but also their partner. As the approached the scene he smirked. "Right May. you can handle these guys no problem." Haru, or rather Red Star, spoke as he leaped into the air and transformed into a ninja sword. "Just be careful not to cause too much damage to the surrounding area." He added not wanting to get in trouble for collateral damage.

"Yeah, don't worry. You will get your meal but can't promise on the damage." May said as she caught Haru.
"Bring it" one of the guys said cracking his knuckles. The first guy charged at May. She jumped and flipped kicking him in the back and began dodging and hitting the pre-kishins. "Let's make this quick. Chain Sickle mode!" May said jumping up into the air .

"Right!" Haru answer as he quick transformed from on weapon dorm to the next. the dual weapon attached by a supernatural chain. "Now take 'em down May." He spoke to her with nothing but confidence in her ability. Especially when the enemy was nothing more than pre-Kishins.

May landed in the middle of all of them. "Let's go!!!" She said letting go of one of the sickles and swinging the weapon in a circle. The sickle slices through all five of them. They all exploded leaving only their souls. "Told you I would get you a meal." She said smirking with her shark teeth.

"Hehe i never doubted you for a second." Red Star said as he returned to his human form and gathered up the souls. "Not with these I'll have successfully eaten 25 souls. not bad so far." He praised his meister as he gobbled up each soul one by one.

"Only 74 more kishin eggs and 1 witch soul left to go." May said staring up at the moon. "I wonder if our parents are still eating their weekly dinner reunion?" May said as she walked out of the alley way to the lit street. "Should we head back to your house where the dinner is or do something else that is cool?" May asked Red Star as she turned to look at him.

"Lets leave the adults alone." Red Star chuckled thinking they would need time to reminisce and what not. "What did you have in mind though?" The boy was up for just about anything his partner decided.

"Late night basketball or anything you want to do." May said looking at her partner with an 'I really don't care' expression on her face. "Or we can get food of our own."

"I could go for a few rounds in hoops. besides. It's about time for your weekly beating anyway." Red Star said with a small laugh as he began to walk to where the court was.

"If I lose that won't be that cool at all." May said as she ran past her friend to beat him to the court. When she got there she stopped and smiled, May always loved playing basketball at night. "Ok where are you Red Star, I know you beat me here. You are faster than me." May called out into the darkness of shadows where the two lights did not reach.

"Right here... What's wrong with you?" Red Star said with a small laugh as he poked his meister on the shoulder. He was standing behind her. Yeah... It wasn't that hard for him to sneak up on her. "And it's not 'if' you lose. because you will lose. You'll just put up a hell of a fight and look cool while you do it." He said as he stepped away and grabbed a basketball. "You can get ball first."

May smirked and ran at him stealing the ball out of his hands and dribbling down the court towards the hoop. She listened for him so she knew when to jump or dodge him.

Red Star yawned. "Geez..." He said as he dashed towards her. He was prepared to follow her movements and block her shot anyway he could. yeah. He would let her shoot, but the ball definitely wouldn't go in no matter what. "At least check the ball like you should in a normal game." He commented with a small laugh.

"I did it the cool way" May said as she jumped and aimed to dunk the ball

Red jumped only when he did he was in front of her. "Not happening. It's too early for that." He said calmly as he reached his hand to push against the ball. "Maybe you'll make it in your next shot." He said as he looked straight into her eyes with a confident expression on his face.

"Cocky much?" May said throwing the ball up, it soared towards the hoop and May smirked.(time skip to when the game is done? Red star winning? but not by too much haha)

"Not Cocky. Just wanted to see what my awesome partner would do." Red Star said as he came down for a landing as the ball sunk into the basket. "One point." He said as he picked up the ball. "I won't go easy on you." He passed it to May. "Winner's ball."

May laid down on the cold pavement. She had taken her jacket off sometime during the game so she could feel it on her back, arms, and shoulders as well as her legs. "I still can't believe you beat me by 4 points ugh! Not cool may not cool" she said. May then just stared at the stars

"Hehe still it was a good game. As expected of my meister." Red Star said as he removed his shirt and threw it to the floor. He was more muscular than one would expect a kid his age and size to be. Seriously... the dude worked really harder. May might have been the only person who worked harder. Which he liked. "Made me work up a pretty good sweat." He added taking a breath. "We should definitely get some food now. We could use it."
