Jila became confused as to why James was yelling. Nobody was claiming the child. He should just let it get trampled. Kids are annoying though. Why isn't anybody claiming it? Why is the conductor trying to get us killed? Her thoughts were everywhere at the moment, and she just stood there, paralized.

James sighed. Alright. Fine. I'll deal with this myself. "SHUT UP!" Near everybody fell silent, most startled by James' tone. "Listen to me. We're not going to die. They'll fix the breaks and we'll make our stops, and some money for those of us who have missed our stops. Now whose fucking child is this?" He held up the kid.

Jila tried not to actually laugh. She knew it was wrong of her, but James' words were hysterical in this time of strife. He was so calm about it that it startled her but calmed her at the same time. For some reason, she found James to be decent- strange indeed. Why is this happening? That stupid vision shouldn't have happened in the first place. Why me? Why James? Why Lily? Why the goddamn child?

The train derailed and there was a lot of screaming. James was completely calm, though confused as to why there was a dog hiding behind his legs. He ran over to Lily and Jila and pushed them down so they wouldn't get hurt, yelling for everybody to duck behind the seats to avoid glass and such. The dog followed him for some reason.

She curled into a ball, subconsciously turning into a little lavender kitten, some glass stuck to her and her fur, some getting to her skin and piercing it, otherwise she wasn't injured.

James slid himself under a seat, probably a bad idea in hindsight, and pulled the dog and child under with him. If he couldn't protect everybody, he'd protect who he could. After all, he couldn't be heard over the panicked screaming, crying, and hollering of other passengers trying to find their families.

Jila just lay there, not noticing the glass that pierced her skin and drew blood. She was shivering rather violently. The whole events of the evening had her absolutely shaken up. She didn't know what was what, since flames were starting to spread over the train. The noise was too much for her patience and she curled up, wincing as she did so. She was about to take out her phone but a vision flashed in her mind.

Blood. Screaming. Blackness. She couldn't see a thing and smoke made her cough voilently. She had no idea what was going on. As far as she could tell, as she looked around, only James, Lily, the kid, and the dog survived this excluding herself. Bodies littered the ground, smoking and horrifying. She tried to close her eyes but they wouldn't close. Then a voice spoke. "Survive, Lajila Nox. You must survive..."

She hid herself under a seat and held on for dear life, everyone was screaming and running around, she noticed the flames and her eyes widened. This isn't good... Please let us survive, please. She pleaded in her head, curling up tighter and holding on, taking deep breaths to try to calm down, she just needed to calm down and she would be ok, right? She shivered as she saw the fire spreading through the train, some people panicking and running into the fire, she winced and looked away.

James held the kid and the dog close. He could hear sirens. Sirens and screams. Wait... what's up with Lajila...? He noticed how Jila had curled up and wasn't moving otherwise. He slid towards her, tapping her leg to get her attention. "Get under a seat!" His voice was almost inaudible over the sounds of screaming and crackling of flames.

Jila stayed unmoving, lost in the world of her vision as vision her tried to learn more. Her eyes were shut tight, and she couldn't hear the screams of the dying. The vision changed to something else- still her though.

White. White everywhere. Then blackness. Then slow blinking back into the whiteness. The white was too bright. She tried to close her eyes but a voice spoke above her- a familiar female voice, not that Jila had many of those. "Welcome back, Lajila. You gave us quite a scare." Jila tried to speak but couldn't. Something pricked her arm and the scene faded again.

She looked over at Jila and James, wondering why they weren't under a seat or something, basically the whole train was up in flames, she began coughing from the smoke, hoping someone would come and rescue them already, she could barely see people who were alive, but there where still a few people who where alive, so far she saw James, Jila, the kid, the dog and a few others who where either engulfed in fire or running into fire. At this rate everyone will die..

James shook his head and pulled at Lajila's leg, trying to get her to open her eyes and get under a seat. He covered his mouth and nose with his shirt, turning back to do the same for the child. He couldn't exactly protect the dog from the smoke, but the dog had burried its nose under its paws. He tried his best to stay under the seat himself, but he didn't want Lajila to die either.

Jila didn't respond to James's attempts as more visions crowded her mind, keeping her frozen in place. Despite how it might look, she had already lost consciousness not seconds before James attempted to get her to move. She wouldn't be able to respond even if she wanted to. By now, first responders had started hosing down the burning train, but the flames had already started to lick the cieling above Jila. Embers fell and died upon contacting her skin, and a few chunks of burning metal started to fall. It was inevitable. Somebody had to get hurt.

She crawled out from under the seat and tried to go to Jila and James to tty and help, coughing hard from the smoke, a small piece of metal hit her foot but she ignored and burning sensation it had because it was scorching hot, she grinded her teeth and crawled over, nosing Jila and turning human. "She's passed out, we need to find a way to get out, we seem to be the only ones who survived." She said to Jila, James and the Kid, the dog just there.

James nodded and took off his jacket, laying it over Jila in a weak attempt to shield her. But he'd thought of the idea at a time that was probably too late. He could see Jila's burns. He coughed, shaking his head to clear his vision. "First responders won't know that. You need to get to them. You're the smallest of us," His words were directed at Lily, since he'd seen just how small her cat form was. With her small form, she could probably manuver around the flames and get firefighters to put the flames of the car they were in out, and help Jila.

Jila was still out cold, the burns had spread, and a few pieces of scorching hot metal had burried themselves in her skin. Her face was a patchwork of burns, red and blackened. First responders were working their way down the train, but the car was at the back, so they might be too late if Lily didn't act soon. Jila's pulse was weakening, and her breathing was raspy- not just because of the smoke that slowly suffocated her.

She nodded and turned cat, she had also gotten a few small burns but her pelt protected her from getting too much more, she coughed and shimmed her way through the fire, inhaling large amounts of smoke as she managed to avoid most of the fire, some of her fur being burned as she made her way through the door, as soon as she got out the firefighters put out the fire around the door and got inside, she also went back inside, somehow feeling the need to protect and help Jila and James.
