Lajila Nox

Lajila still hadn't woken from her coma, and the doctors were still quite concerned about this. The burns on her body had faded to an angry rash-like coloration but were still brittle scabs. It was unlikely that she would get through the healing process without scars. Doctors fussed over her, making sure her body stayed nourished so she could heal appropriately.

[Star Light]

Lily had woken and got up, she sits beside Jila's bedside, watching the sleeping figure worried. She closes her eyes and uses the little bit of magic she knows to try and heal Jila.

[Twisted Mind]

James remained asleep, unaware that there was the possibility of interaction. He wasn't dreaming, which was surprising.

Lajila Nox

There were no doctors currently in the room with Lily and Jila, and the room was silent due to this except for the beeping of the machines. After a long six minutes, fifty-four seconds, and 302 milliseconds, Jila's finger twitched. It was the only motion until her eyes slowly blinked open into the white. There was bright white everywhere. Then blackness. Then she slowly blinked back into the whiteness. The white was too bright. She tried to close her eyes, to return to the blackness of sleep. But she couldn't close them completely. She groaned softly- barely there.

[Star Light]

"Welcome back, you gave us quite a scare." (please be the right line) She said softly, voice kind.

[Twisted Mind]

James slept.

Jila turned her head, the motion causing her to wince. She opened her mouth to speak but no sound came out. She sighed inwardly. Right. Forgot about that. The smoke probably has done the job of ruining my vocal cords for life for me, She thought, closing her mouth and just studying Lily. The beeping sped up a bit as Jila's confusion spiked, but it was nothing serious.

Dr. Alice Rivercot

Alice approached the sleeping figure of James Cliff, taking a few notes before checking his blood pressure and beginning to redo his bandages.

[Star Light]

She didn't know how to calm Jila down, hearing the heart rate spike, she panicked a bit herself trying to figure out how to calm her down, her ears lowered and she frowned. "Um.. Shh? It's ok."

[Twisted Mind]

James groaned as the doctor started redoing his bandages, slowly waking up. "What...? Who...? Oh..." He blinked awake, recognizing Doctor Rivercot and groaning again. He hadn't taken any sort of painkiller since he'd arrived, and it was probably hindering his healing process.

The monitor beeped quietly as Jila blacked out again, the experience having been too much for her pain-overloaded brain to handle. It automatically paged a doctor, the only one it was able to reach being Dr. Rivercot.

Dr. Alice Rivercot

Alice finished quickly, then checked her pager. She simply smiled gently at James then went to tend to the injured girl, knowing she could finish up with James after Lajila was stabilized. She glanced at Lily, but said nothing as she adjusted some of the medication Lajila was getting, added a few painkillers- that Lajila would hate her for in the long run- and nodded to Lily before stepping back out and returning to James, still silent. The doctor only said what was needed, and some could mistake her for being a mute.
