The problem is where do they hide? It isn't like she can have several places her father wouldn't know about. It would have to a place that's empty or takes cash. Even then they could be found.

We could make it so that they've lost the convoy for the time being and can take refuge in one of the many places available. Her dad's peeps would have to search various places and might not have the time or resources to do it all in one day. They could find accommodation at some hostel hidden in plain sight in the next town or something. We could even have the convoy run into unexpected trouble, like a random police inspection, to slow them down.

Anything in the state would be temporary. They haven't lost them yet. They were on a back road until they hit town. I guess after they eat and refuel they'll have to head out of the city. But with no money their opinions are limited.

I have a weird question. Why hasn't Wynn used his phone before now? I mean he's kind of decided to try and help Roxy but before that he could have tried. I don't know how much signal he would have had in the bunker but... if seems like he would have used it. I didn't really think about it when Roxy told him to look for a way out of town but the question about charging box got me thinking about why he'd need one.

Oh, I made it such that he didn't have it, for convenience's sake, and just wrote that out on page two.

"I take the watch to the store when I need it replaced, and that isn't too often," he replied, and then laughed. "Sometimes I wait for weeks after it stops. It's more of an accessory than anything else. I don't often need it to tell the time since I usually have my phone on me. Unfortunately, during one of the few times I don't, some chick snatches me off the street. Got to hate life sometimes."

I made it so that it was a spare phone in the car that he used.
