I just joined RPG, so I figured why not put out an IC and see if I get any bites. Although I'm new here, I'm not new to RP - I'm quite a vet at it in actual fact. And I have a really eclectic taste when it comes down to genre!
Now, I'm going to play my hand and say I am not your gal' if you're looking for kinks galore or a smut fest. Yes, I will write adult themes and that includes the smexy stuff - but I'm not here to fill my boots. With that out of the way let's talk roles, settings and all things fabulous.
My two favourite time periods are Medieval England and Modern day, that said - I enjoy a WWII plot from time to time too. I'm also open to other suggestions that I might not have thought of. Fantasy and Sci-Fi aren't my things, but I don't dislike a Vampire theme every now and again.
In terms of writing level, I am advanced, but I can go anywhere from high casual upwards. I'm not here to grade your writing like an English assignment, so as long as you're literate and can develop an entertaining character, I'm happy.
I dabble mainly in MxF roles, with myself playing the F. I like RP's with alot of side characters to make the whole thing feel much more real and alive. I enjoy OOC chat, and I am quite chatty. Frequency can be very regular, and sometimes multiple a day, but I do get busy.

Medieval:
A young Noble woman from a prominent English family has been brought to Court to make her social debut. Her Father sits on the King's Privvy Council, and as a child she had grown up alongside many other Noble and Royal children. The youngest of four siblings, she is fiesty and witty. There isn't much that her curious eye doesn't catch, and she knows how to hold her own - much to her Father's dismay. Naturally, she is of an age to marry and with her breeding it would be am advantageous one indeed, but she isn't playing ball. Could your male character be the one to sweep her off her feet? He could be whatever you desire. A King, a Groom, a Gardener or a Noble!! It's entirely your call. There will be mature themes and drama a plenty. We can write out the sexual scenes, or skip. I have no preference.
Modern:
Our two characters have been partners at work for three years - and the homicide department is a tight knit unit. A busy one at that. He is the more experienced, battle hardened Detective, and she's a graduate in Forensic Pyschology and Profiling who stumbled into being a Detective unexpectedly. Despite their very different approaches and personalities, somehow they just click and get shit done. And that click starts to find it's way into their personal lives as they develop feelings for one another. Adventure and smushy stuff galore.
Modern:
Two very different people get thrown together in a workplace scenario and a relationship develops. He's a self made man - that's worked his way up from nothing. Now, he's incredibly wealthy with a successful business, but he keeps it real. She on the other hand, had come from your 'perfect' middle class family, who had money enough to throw at whatever she wanted. Despite that, she's no brat, but perhaps slightly sheltered. Now she's graduated and navigating her own path, she's finding it quite the challenge. We could even through a Mafia angle at this one.
