Albert King is well-known throughout the city, both for his position as the owner of the classiest and most popular nightclub in town ─ The Silver Suit ─ as well as for his legacy of being the son to none other than the once-highly-sought-after leader behind the most notorious crime ring to ever sweep the streets of Aster Valley. It was with the widely celebrated arrest of his father, Jamal King ─ "King" of the Spades, rather ─ that Albie first made his appearance to the wider public, as he quickly acquired ownership of the establishment once serving as a front to the Spades, despite his young age at the time, and announced that he would be making great changes in the years to come.
Now, nearly seven years later to the date, Albie continues his father's business, in more ways than one. As the new "King" to the thought to be long-since-disbanded Spades, Albie has made many changes among "both companies" bringing not just the Silver Suit into a new era, but the Spades as well. Things have never run more smoothly, nor more successfully, for either side of his family's generations-long "business" and the young proprietor rivals in his own success. Were it not for the constant harassment of the Aster Valley Police trying to pin him on the same crimes as his father, or the recent bout of murders connected to his Silver Suit performance workers ─ Three girls in less than as many weeks ─ Albie would say that his life was more than perfect.
On the night of the seventh anniversary of his take over, Albert King hosts a gala within the Silver Suit to celebrate his reign as "King", little to the public's knowledge, of course. However, it is during this event that a sudden ─ and almost very successful ─ attempt is made on Albie's life, and after ordering his personal bodyguard, his Joker, to bring the attacker back alive, Albie's life only becomes more complicated as he decides to give the assassin a chance to right his wrong by becoming the King's second Joker.
Azrael is less than compliant, nor is he at all willing to work with either the King or his existing Joker, and would rather the "company" just do away with him if they can't simply let him go running off into hiding like he had originally planned to do after his job with Albie. Stubbornly, however, and to Azrael's dismay, Ablie refuses to let go of such a strong asset and instead continues to force Azrael through his indoctrination, as the assassin would put it.
Frustrated, terrified, and uncertain of his future, Albie resents himself for forcing the man into such a position, but as the numbers rise and the death toll among his Silver Suit performers grows ever larger and ever more frequent, the King knows he is more in need of a second Joker than he's ever been before. Willing or not, Azrael was there to stay, and Albie would just have to force his hand with a deck that was surely stacked against him...

When a young woman is left stranded in the middle of a lake with the loss of her paddles, she soon finds herself rescued from her predicament by a strange young lad who seems to have no issue in towing her boat back with nothing other than his own strength of swimming. He introduces himself as Kion Lake, and it isn't long before the two meet again as the woman finds herself sitting in the middle of the lake once more, though at least still with her paddles. The two hit it off almost immediately, as strange as Kion is about some of the things they talk about, and it suddenly becomes a routine for them. Her in her boat, and Kion in the water despite the cold season, it isn't long before the woman reveals to Kion her fear of water, or rather, drowning. Wanting to help her in what she calls "desensitization therapy", Kion offers to give the woman swimming lessons, and though hesitant, initially, she ultimately agrees to his offer, and they set up to meet once more.
Unfortunately, the morning of their planned lessons, the news is filled with the tragic incident of a chemical spill contaminating theirs and many other lakes in the nearby area through the river system. Worried for her friend, whom she had yet to see out of the water, the woman hurries to the lake in search of Kion, worried he may be foolish enough to swim in the contaminated waters. To her surprise though, and the surprise of many around the lake as well, the lake could never have looked so clean, looking fresher than even days before. Were it not for the masses of dead fish washed up on the surrounding shore, one may have thought that the lake was never hit with the chemicals to begin with. It isn't until she finds another, much larger body among those of the fish that the woman finds her fears confirmed, as Kion lies barely conscious on the rocky shore. Her cries for help are cut off, however, as Kion weakly begs her not to involve official doctors, pleading that she and she alone be the one to help him, if he was to receive help at all.
Refusing to leave her new friend to surely die, the woman takes Kion back to her cabin, and frantically works to find what the actual problem with him may be. As his condition becomes worse, Kion proves to be more strange than the woman could ever have thought, as he reveals to her his secret:
He is a guardian spirit of water...and he has made a grave mistake...

Daizen Moore is a detective working for the Silver Lake Police Department, transferred over to the department to assist in a rise of brutal and vicious murders. At least...that's the story that most are told. In actuality, Daizen is a demon, long since contracted to the city from the very first settlement. Throughout the centuries, he has been called on by the city officials, summoned time and time again to help when things get a little too...supernatural for the city's liking, before being sent away for the next century to come. But with the ever-growing state of humanity, Daizen has only found himself called to the more and more frequently, with problems becoming increasingly worse all the while. Now, being called back for the fifth time in the same generation of mankind, Daizen is becoming drained from the increased work, and as though the string of murders connected to what can only be some kind of leak in the veil weren't enough, Daizen finds himself suddenly being targeted by a huntress in town investigating the same mystery as he and his human partner. This huntress is certain that Daizen has some connection to the crimes taking place, and is Hellbent on proving it, and taking the detective down in the process, but when circumstances lead to the two having to work together, it doesn't take long for her to realize that the powerful demon she seeks to destroy is her best bet at putting an end to the case once and for all.

Once every other century, a Vessel is born; a child who hosts the soul of the First Fallen, Ölüm, also known as the Bringer of Darkness. Through this child, it is said that Ölüm may rise again, and finally finish what was started in snuffing out mankind. For millennia, this has been avoided through the sacrifice of each Vessel before the First Fallen could wake. With every appearance of a Vessel, a Guardian has been chosen to find them, and inevitably, eliminate them. For millennia, this has been the workings of Pyraedai, forever protecting mankind and the world from the danger that exists.

Zahkariel was the Chosen Guardian, the next in line for destroying the Vessel, and had trained his whole life to complete the task decided for him, but nothing could have truly prepared him for the full weight of the job. When Zahkariel was unable to bring himself to kill a child, he instead decided to protect the Vessel, and took them somewhere safe in hopes of finding another way of preventing the Bringer of Darkness from awaking. Marked a traitor to Pyraedai and the world, Zahkariel was cursed with the black wings of a Fallen Guardian, but still fought to prove his loyalty to mankind. Unfortunately, as hard as he tried to keep Ölüm from rising, the Vessel was just not strong enough to keep the First Fallen sealed, and both Zahkariel and the Vessel were destroyed by Pyraedai’s Guardians, sent to finish the task.

Typhaelion was stripped of his title as a Guardian when a fatal mistake cost his brother his life. Willing to do anything to be a Guardian once more, Typhaelion volunteers to be the Chosen Guardian and take out the Vessel to prove his right. However, the job proves to be harder than he thought it would be when he falls in love with the Vessel’s older sister. The last thing he wants to do is hurt her, but that becomes difficult to avoid the more Typhaelion tries to complete his mission. Things only get harder for Typhaelion when he’s told to also eliminate a new Fallen who, despite suffering from severe amnesia, proves to be an extremely powerful target, and when the assumed enemy takes up the role of helping the Vessel’s sister in protecting her brother, it seems the whole universe is trying to keep Typhaelion from regaining his title.

(tbn) has been taking care of her younger brother, Lucien since he was just a baby, having to take on major responsibilities at a young age when their mother fell deathly ill, their father long since having abandoned them. Lucien is all (tbn) has left, and the same for her being all Lucien has. When a Guardian of Pyraedai arrives, claiming that Lucien is Ölüm’s Vessel and must be destroyed, Zeyna Alinari does all she can to protect the only family she has remaining. It becomes a constant battle as the Guardian shows up everywhere they go, and only worsens when the Guardian claims to only be wanting to protect her. A close call introduces the siblings to an amnesiac man preferring to go by the title, Nameless, who saves Lucien from the Guardian, however, when Nameless is revealed to be a Fallen, (tbn) wants absolutely nothing to do with him. At first. After finding Nameless trying to break into their shed in search of a place to sleep for the night, (tbn) decides to take him in and give him a chance...with a little persuasion from her brother.

A young man holds no memory of who he is after waking in a city park, covered in cuts and burns. The only clues to his identity he has are nightmarish flashes and a small silver locket that won’t open. Adopting the title of Nameless, the man sets out in search of who he is and what happened to him. Along the way, however, he runs in with a man who claims Nameless is a Fallen and must be killed. Refusing to believe the man, Nameless fights him off and continues on his quest. However, it isn’t long before Nameless finds the man again, attacking an innocent child. He steps in to protect the child, and in the battle, finds that there may be more truth to what the man said than he originally thought. Still refusing to believe in what he is, however, Nameless continues to search for his answers, though coincidentally finds himself running in with the kid again, and the kid’s sister, when he attempts to find shelter in a shed in their backyard. When the siblings offer to shelter him, Nameless promises to protect the boy from the madman in exchange for their hospitality, even if it means having to put a pause on his search.

Stories intertwine, lives connect in the most unusual of ways, and secrets lay all around, all while the threat of the Bringer of Darkness, Ölüm, rising once again lays at the center of it all.

When the notorious leader of a criminal ring suddenly goes missing the night a bounty hunter breaks into his home, his wife is left to pick up the pieces as the bounty hunter turns to her to find where the man has gone. Promising the crime lord's wife freedom and protection should she cooperate, the two set out in search for the wanted man, following hidden clues that have been left across the country to help the woman return to her love. Throughout their travels, questions are asked from both sides. The bounty hunter wants to know how a woman such as herself could get wrapped up with such a horrible man, and the wife wants to know what brought the bounty hunter into his line of work, to begin with. An odd couple to say the least, as the two fight through their differences and learn to work together, but all the while, a secret remains unsaid.
How will this bounty hunter react when he finds out that the woman he's forced to work with him is currently pregnant with the son of the man he fully intends to kill?

Synopsis
Some may say that war and rage come hand and hand, but for rising musicians, Andrew Bates and Isaac Allard, it really just depends on how you look at it. Andrew is a descendant of one of the Four Horsemen, War, and he's living out his days as a reporter for the local newspaper by day, and the drummer for the small-town band, Party til' the Apocalypse, by night. Meanwhile, Isaac is the descendant of one of the Seven Deadly Sins, Wrath, and he's living out his days on the steady income of his smart investments while playing keyboard for his own little band, Hellbrake.
Just being apart, the two can be a real handful, as their individual anger often gets the best of them, and often, more, gets them into trouble in their social surroundings. Put them together, however, and you may as well be starting a true war. When energies crash to the extreme and both men find themselves arrested for public disturbance and various accounts of assault, their irritation only grows as they are sentenced to community service, as well as forced to attend court-mandated anger management. Getting suspended from their respective bands they play in with the others of their kind is only icing on the cake, and tensions only grow stronger yet when they wind up stuck in the same class for their anger management. The only thing keeping these two violent men from destroying everything in their path is a volunteer they both meet at the community center where their classes are being held. When the beautiful young woman seems to have a knack for keeping the two calm, Isaac and Andrew both find themselves drawn ever closer to her. But with both men pining after the same woman, how long can it really last, and will Isaac and Andrew ever truly be able to control their anger?

When (tbn) receives a package from a distant, deceased relative, everything they ever knew about the world is suddenly flipped upside down. The reason being? Well, it's not every day you find a dismembered head in a box, let alone one that's apparently still speaking. As it is revealed that this head is that of a dullahan, a member of the faerie race, (tbn) also learns of the truth about their distant relatives, primarily that these relatives used to hunt creatures like the man they are now saddled with, and even more importantly, that their great-uncle from whom they received the package was apparently a sick, twisted bastard. Introducing himself as Arlen, the dullahan informs (tbn) that his body ran off at some point during his imprisonment with their great-uncle, and requests only that they assist him in getting in touch with others of his kind, so he may track down the rest of his being and get back to the life he once lived. Seeking to right the crimes of their family, however, (tbn) insists that they help him, personally, and quickly offers to be his legs and whatever else it is he'll need to find his rampant other half, after all, how hard could it be to find a body with no head?

When a criminal on the run seeks refuge in a random suburban home, things go a little more than ary as the owner of the home manages to quickly get the jump on the perceived threat and render him more or less incapacitated and completely at their mercy. With no option other than to cooperate with his newfound captor, this criminal is prepared to simply wait things out until he can make his escape. After all, what could a little homeowner want with a criminal like him? It's not like they know he's a demon...right?

Born without a proper immune system, Garrett Allard has spent his whole life under the care of constant medical staff, locked away in a specialized "bubble" to protect him from potential disease and infection. For as long as he can remember, people have poked and prodded him, taking blood sample after blood sample, and getting endless readings on every part of his everyday functioning, right down to how many times he'd go to the bathroom. So when a new team of researchers is brought on and begins asking for much larger blood samples than what Garrett is used to, he really doesn't question that much about it.
As the tests carry on, however, Garrett starts to note some...unusual behaviors surrounding these new researchers. For one thing, they only ever show up in the late evening, sometimes not even visiting until well into the night. For another, they never cross the threshold into his room without his explicit permission. Most strange of all, however, they always...watch him, but in a way that feels so different from the concerned gazes of the medical staff. If Garrett had to describe it, he'd say it felt almost...predatory...
As an avid fan of classic horror and all things supernatural, Garrett is sure that he's just letting things get to his head, but there's a part of him that truly wonders...no...hopes that his wild suspicions of this mysterious crew are true. After all, how cool would it be to say that you were being "milked" by vampires?

In the small town of Tolsen, there's really not that much in the way of crime, and yet, it seems like every other day, Officer (tbn) is called down to some part of town, be it the park, the shopping district, or just outside of city hall, and every time it's for the same reason: One Anthony J. Davidson Jr. -- Andy as he's better known.

Andy is known by just about everyone in Tolsen, but while his reputation for what he does is rather high, his reputation for remaining free is a bit of...something else...

Every week. Every week without ever missing a beat. Every week Andy lands himself in overnight detainment, never once having committed a crime to get him anything more than that. Every week he's left under the watchful eye of Officer (tbn). And every week, he treats the situation like the most memorable date there ever was. For you see, the thing is, between you and me, this is probably as close to getting a date with the officer as he'll ever get...especially now that Officer (tbn) apparently has a boyfriend.

When college student (tbn)'s friend and roommate, Cavan Vyse, is arrested under the suspicion of murdering his sister Angelina, stories quickly collide as Angie's ex-boyfriend, Judith Ritcher, is cleared of suspicion, seemingly at Cavan's expense. With both parties seeking to make things right for their mutual connection, they soon find themselves tripping over each other in their attempts to solve the case behind the scenes. Reluctant as they may be, both (tbn) and Jude know that the only way to find Angie's killer, clear Cavan's name, and most importantly, avoid their own arrest for interfering with police business, is by agreeing to work together...at least for the time being...

Society advanced. New technologies were discovered, and the creatures of lore made a world all their own.
The city of Kings Haven is but one of these pocket dimensions, one of the first of its creation, and widely known throughout the realms. It is here where the creatures of lore have made their biggest advancements, from the simple things like that which paralleled the humans, such as phones, televisions, and more, to the more complicated, such as connecting the scattered realms through a magical train system to form what is now known as The Hidden World. Kings Haven is famous throughout the Hidden World, though not all fame is good fame.
While many revere the city for the treasures that have been brought to the community, still many fear the city on a level far beyond the beasts who inhabit it. Known, yes, for its discoveries, so too is it known to have the highest crime rate in all of the Hidden World. The reason? Why, The Suits, of course.
Far back at the formation of the city, four crime rings rose to power, each claiming a different section of the larger city: The Clubs, The Diamonds, The Hearts, and, of course, the most feared of them all, The Spades. At first, these organizations were nothing more than meddlesome gangs, but as time advanced, so too did they, eventually becoming the powerful entities that they stand as today. They say that The Suits run the city of Kings Haven, right down to the police. They say that were it not for The Suits, Kings Haven would not be where it is today. With that, they say, the Hidden World as we know it would never exist were it not for the discoveries of The Suits. Be that true or not, however, one fact remains the same to those among the population of Kings Haven:
No matter who you are, no matter what you do, so long as they reign high, you'll always be better off among their ranks; life in King's Haven truly is better suited.

One particularly sunny day in the land of Esiadale, the home of the monsters, a commotion takes place in the marketplace as a human runs for their life from pursuing Sentries. Lycus, a young noble of a long-running vampire family, witnesses the chase and suddenly finds himself drawn to the human. With his power to speak telepathically, he guides the human into a peaceful surrender and continues to guide the individual as they are taken before the Court of the Ancients. When the Court determines that the human is to be killed for intruding on their land, young Lycus steps forward, calling for Pavule, thus placing the human under the protection of his House. Warned that such an action could revoke his family's standing, Lycus stands his ground, and in the end, is granted his request.
Stripped of all their other worldly possessions, the human is sent home with the mysterious being who apparently saved their life, and endless questions ring out as they strive to understand exactly where they are and what is going on, but most importantly...what is Lycus, and everyone else for that matter. As far as this human is concerned, "monsters" don't exist...
It has been some time since a human stumbled across the barrier, and rumors spread that their arrival may not have been so accidental as it seems, but bringing a human to Esiadale is forbidden, punishable by death...or worse. Mystery surrounds this foreign individual, and the curiosity only grows as they seem to hold some kind of power over the people of Esiadale. The ability to command and control...a dangerous thing indeed, and one which Lycus and his friends know they must hide, or else risk their new friend being eliminated by the Court of the Ancients once and for all.

Grab a seat by the fire, roast yourself up a s'more or two, and get ready for a scare-- from the spooky stories of course!

Camp 'Thulu is widely known throughout much of the area as being something of the "best" summer camp there is, welcoming both human and horror children alike. The first of its kind, really, Camp 'Thulu prides itself on being a safe place for horror children especially, as it was originally founded by none other than Cthulu's great-nephew...by a few generations, of course. Advertising fun, friendship, and peace for all in attendance, Camp 'Thulu is famous for acting as a perfect median, the ultimate middle ground between humans and horror, and is revered for its ability to bring the two races together in harmony.
However, when the most recent summer starts with a tragic and fatal "accident", it becomes dreadfully apparent that this year, things may not be as "perfect" as they usually are...
When a group of veteran campers team up to investigate the "accident" they quickly discover there's more to the incident than the counselors let on, and the deeper they dive into the cruel case, the more certain the danger around them becomes. Just when it seems that things couldn't get any more horrific, another so-called "accident" takes place, and slowly through the week the numbers only grow.
Something is threatening the campers, and the staff seems to be completely oblivious! It's up to this ragtag team to solve the mystery of the killer, but can they manage it without being targeted themselves?

For generations, it has always been speculated that Halley's Comet possessed some kind of supernatural energy to it, and throughout its time, it hasn't been uncommon for people to claim to have gained some sort of gift during its pass by the Earth. People like this are often claimed insane, or just pining for attention, but what if there was some truth to the theories? What if Halley's Comet really was capable of granting special abilities? That's not to say that the comet could truly make metahumans from billions of miles away, but, if one were to touch a piece of it, what if?
Impossible, you're probably saying, no one could touch a comet, but you'd be wrong. While comets themselves never make it to Earth's surface, meteors do. There are many annual meteor showers that originated from pieces left behind by comets, and Halley's Comet is no exception. With two meteor showers birthed from the comet, it's no surprise that eventually, a few fragments of the comet made it to Earth's surface. Or, in the case of the most recent occurrence of the Eta Orionid meteor shower, a few hundreds of thousands of fragments raining down through Earth's atmosphere.
Granted, most of these landed in the oceans and other bodies of water, and others landed in uninhabited areas of the Earth. However, not all fragments went unnoticed, or undiscovered, and some even landed in backyards and buildings themselves over the course of the meteor shower's pass.
These pieces are the reason for Project Red, or, at least, what has been added to its purpose. As hundreds of people all across the world came into contact with the fragments, all were altered and quickly detained through whatever means.

The little city of Krestlyn is not well-known, it is one of those places where only residents and those in neighboring cities would know about. It is just like any other city though. Except for one thing. Some people who have lived in the city for many years, people who have generations of family living there before them; some people, are different. No one knows why, not really. The only explanation they have is a strange red rock that falls from the sky during a meteor shower twice a year. Most of the time, the rocks all fall into the ocean or the lake in the park, but sometimes, sometimes they hit the ground, and it is known that these rocks have the power to change people. However, even aside from the rocks, due to generations, there are people who are simply born different, and that is all there is to it.
In the city of Krestlyn, these people usually hide, but not just for fear of the government or outsiders. No, they hide from the Blood Stone Keepers, a ruthless criminal organization that found pleasure in forcing these different individuals to fight against one another, and who had managed to take over the city, running it from the underground in secret to escape any kind of justice for their crimes.
These people scour the streets in search of those in hiding, tracking and hunting them down to throw them into the rink with all the rest. But they don't rest at those already changed. There are stories told that some of those of the Blood Stone Keepers will grab random, ordinary people.
And change them.

However, as fate would have it, it seems that this young soul has not yet reached the end of their line, and just like that, they quickly find themself pulled into the organization known as the Deadly Deeds Association. At the age of 19, Jace Allan Martyr fell gravely ill, a condition which baffled doctors all around. No one could tell Jace what was making him sick. No one could offer Jace a cure. All anyone knew for certain was he would surely die sometime before he reached the age of 40. Five years since his initial diagnosis, Jace's condition has gotten significantly worse. With his new symptoms and ever-growing weakness, doctors now give him but a couple of years to get his finances in order...if even that long.
Desperate to find a way out, Jace searches the internet and soon comes across an admittedly sketchy website. The website has very little to it, having only an advertisement for an acclaimed "miracle drug" and a place to get in touch with one of the team members who developed it. Seeing nothing left to lose, he takes his chance and writes in, pleading for the opportunity to join their research.
As the weeks pass, Jace's condition steadily declines, and the man finds himself losing the last of his hope for survival. Just when he can take it no more, however, a knock at his door stops him from doing the unthinkable, and there, on the doormat, a simple black box with a note and nothing more.
Upon inspection, the note is revealed to have but two words written on it in courier font, "Take two," and inside the box is nothing more than a little orange bottle filled with glassy black pills.
Jace takes the dose with not an ounce of hesitation, and just like that, his fate is sealed.
Before Jace knows it, his life is turned completely upside down as, while the drug indeed improves his condition, rendering him healthier than even before he first started showing symptoms of his condition, it also comes with rather remarkable side effects. Side effects which the people in charge of this illicit project are highly interested in. With his new-found health, Jace also finds a new-found loss of freedom as he's quickly strung into a web of crime and ever-present danger. Forced to use his new superhuman abilities for "jobs" given to him by his so-called "doctors". Should he refuse, he'll be stripped of his place in the project, his access to The Cure revoked, and, as he's been assured by The Doctors, he'll surely die within the week as his sickness accelerates beyond control, now forever mutated by the compounds in the mysterious drug he was so eager to accept.
There's no way out, or so it seems, as Jace refuses to give in to death a second time now that he remembers what it feels like to truly be alive. Searching for an escape from the control of the project leaders, Jace enlists the help of his personal "handler" in the project. It's a longshot, he knows, and whether or not they'll actually help him given their position with the "company", but he sees it as his only chance, and after all, Jace has never been above taking risks.

Through their travels, the team observes as the once cruel and deadly being displays kindness and compassion, helping them along in their quests wherever they go.
Could it really be that the Twilight Soldier has been reformed? Or is this merely an elaborate plan by the Dark Lord themself?

Known only by the name Seven, the Gatekeeper shows (tbn) that there is much more to the special prison than the outside is allowed to believe, but with every secret he reveals, a thousand more seem to arise. While he claims to want only to help her escape back to her rightful freedom, it is questionable what Seven's true intentions may be with (tbn) when her time in The Pit only grows longer and longer with no word of her getting out.

His power is great, but his mentality is not the best, and there is no telling what could happen should he, and thereby his power, fall into the wrong hands. There had once been a time when the world was at peace, and all the nations had lived as one. Society and nature were in perfect balance, and the world was a place of beauty and hope. Then, without any warning, an Alliance was formed; a merging of the four nations that sought power and control over the rest of their people. Armed with powerful benders of all breeds, including the most feared of their forces: The Blood Benders, the Alliance stormed the capitals of every nation, conquering all, and leaving no hope for the future.

No hope...except for the Avatar...

With the power to master all four elements, the Avatar was the only one strong enough to stop the Alliance, and restore peace and balance to the world once more. Backed by none other than himself and the power he held, the Avatar did all he could to reason with the Alliance, but in his attempts, he was lost, and with his fall, the Alliance only grew in power. War broke out as the surviving nations fought against the Alliance, but, in the end, the Alliance reigned supreme. Survivors fled, running to the furthest reaches of the world and burying themselves away, far from the controlled societies of the Alliance.

Hunting down and destroying the next Avatar when she was just a small child, the Alliance made certain that their claim to power could never be challenged, and they swore to do the same unto every Avatar born thereafter. Still, people who refused to give in to the Alliance prayed for a new Avatar to be born, hoping that by some miracle, the next could be protected from the cruel hands of the Alliance, and the war could finally be brought to an end. Generations passed, and though the Alliance never managed to find another Avatar, so too did the next never make an appearance. In time, people abandoned their hope, and the Avatar was soon all but forgotten, becoming nothing more than an ancient legend, a bedtime story to soothe children from the nightmares of the Alliance.

A new era has dawned, and the control of the Alliance has never been stronger as they slowly but steadily crack down on the remaining rebel fortresses scattered throughout the world. A young boy living in a little-known Alliance town has grown up with the gift of earth-bending and is a near-master of his skill just by trying. When the village is attacked by marauders, young Tokoh does all he can to protect his friends and fellow people, and in the heat of the moment, he counters a fire-bender's attack with flames of his own. As the town runs off the attackers, tensions and questions rise at the reveal of the boy's new-found ability, and, in the end, he is urged to leave; not because the people fear him or what dangers he may bring them, but because they know deep down that he is the only hope for their world, for even if they no longer believe it, the Avatar has finally returned.

When a pair of human children, identical twins with opposing SOULs, fall into the Underground, they are met with all the obstacles the world of monsters can offer...and more. Seeking only to make it out of the Underground alive, the older of the two siblings takes every chance to stand up and fight against the monsters who stand in their way. All the while, the younger of the two, makes every attempt to befriend as many of the monsters they meet as they can, and they begin to wonder why they would ever leave the Underground in the first place. As the twins find themselves facing very different paths, the younger sibling pleads for the older of the pair to come to their senses, but in the end, they find themself abandoned by their twin and ultimately left at the mercy of all those in their violent twin's path. It feels like it could truly be the end as the death of the Great Papyrus brings about the wrath of the skeleton's older brother upon the younger twin, but when it becomes clear that the younger of the two humans had no part in his brother's death, Sans makes...an effort to sympathize with the remaining child, and the two come to an understanding that the older twin must be stopped, and it'll take both of them to make that happen.

When a strange child with a monster's SOUL falls into the Underground, a forgotten entity leaves his place in the void to see if they could be the answer he needs to return to his own timeline. However, this entity soon finds that this timeline is far different from his own and that this child is far more peculiar than he originally sensed. Finding he is, for whatever reason, bound to this child's SOUL, "Friend", as the entity comes to be called, insists to the human that they must make their way to the Capital and face the king of the monsters, Asgore, so they may escape the Underground and return to their home, and he can be released to return to where he came from as well. Along the way, however, the child becomes more and more enamored with the monsters' world, having never felt so at ease...so...welcomed... And as a result, their friend finds himself fearing more and more that he may be trapped in this foreign timeline...for good.
