I haven't posted here in quite some time. Life took some crazy turns, got busy, and I fell off the face of the earth for a bit. BUT! I am here, I would like to make a return to writing of sorts and take on a writing partner (or two).
I have some ideas, mostly reviving some old ones and adding in some new elements to hopefully keep it interesting for a long-term roleplay. I of course am open to hear other ideas if you feel we might be able to connect and make our writing styles work together. So, on that note, I will list the ideas, followed by some general rules/expectations and will try to keep things brief.
1. Modern times with some elements of the supernatural. Demons, witches and warlocks mostly but room for other beings if we choose. My character is a young woman, mid 20s, and considers herself an adept witch so to speak. She enjoys the modern conveniences of today, but still holds to keeping some things traditional. She left her coven because she saw they had become too greedy, their practices more focused on self-fulfilling material needs over practical needs and simple guidance. Your character, if you choose the role, would be a demon of sorts she has somehow summoned, and in doing so is bonded to. Details, more plots ideas can be discussed in a PM if this might be a possible interest to you!
2. This is more medieval/fantasy with some steampunkish elements (played the Fable games? Think something like that for the atmosphere and world) Now, this idea can go a few ways, but one of our characters would be cursed (animal form at day or night, human form the other half). Unfortunately, trouble arises, rumors spread of a creature killing travelers and needs to be dealt with. One of us would be amongst these hunters, and while tracking the other down, comes across a human in the midst of their crime. Plot ideas and whatnot could be discussed further once we have something a bit more solid and who would want to play what part, etc. So, let me know if this is more your style.
3. I want something sort of enemies to lovers sort of situation. So we can discuss some stuff here and see if something comes out of it
LASTLY!
A few quick things to mention before we move on to writing together..
1. Smut. Normally I am a fade to black writer, but I know I need to dip my toes in uncharted waters sometimes, and this area is it for me. If you are more comfortable with FtB as well, then let me know and I am happy to do that. If you feel my writing in this area isn't competent, let me know and I will stop and we can use the FtB method as well. This does not mean I want to write smut every few posts, I am story/plot driven and would only write smut scenes if I felt it would add more to the story, otherwise I might skip it entirely and move on to the next scene, whatever.
2. I am a female in real life, and I will write main female characters. Period. Sides characters, NPCs and such, I will write whatever is needed. This also means I would prefer the main character on your end to be male as when it comes to relationships in my stories, at least the main one, I prefer straight couples together. Again, side relationships can be whatever. That also said, I would be more comfortable with my partner being male, or comfortable and willing to write as one even if you are not one in real life. Just, let me know, I'd hate to say something weird in OOC :p
3. I do not, and will not, tolerate one-liners. No exceptions to this anymore. 2-3 paragraphs minimum, more is always welcomed of course! I know I can get carried away sometimes. And I am of the understanding sometimes a post may not be a long one due to a lull in action, or perhaps in a monologue, but please, give me some effort, something to chew on and work with to write back. EFFORT. That is all I ask.
Which also goes for spelling, grammar, punctuation. I am not perfect, nor have I said I was. But I do hope as a writer you would use some effort to correct mistakes if they are caught, I will not spend forever deciphering a post if there are too many errors.
4. Availability. I know for most of us, we have a life outside of this realm of online things. I am a mother, and my life and priorities will come first before anything. Mondays-Fridays I am mostly available through the day, meaning I can easily get a post a day written up, if not every other. Weekends are a no go from me as that is my dedicated family/friends time and to catch up on stuff from the week if needed. If I know I will be gone for an extended period of time, I will let you know so you do not think I ghosted you or something, and I would expect the same in return if something comes up on your end. That is all.
