Tachibana Hibiki

What did a rabbit and tank have to do with each other, and how was that related to a blue and red set of armour? Questions that Hibiki barely had any time to entertain the questions about the man's transformation before there was a much more pressing matter: dodging the laser it was firing.

Was it a laser?

Regardless, when it came to avoid things trying to fire lasers at her, she had a lot of practice, and it would have to go for more than a single shot to hope to pin her down! Although that… still left her with the question of how to damage it. The shimmering light suggested some sort of shield. Hit it harder? Well… that could be Plan B. Plan A was much more blunt: it had exposed a weapon, and that meant there was something to grab onto and tear off. It worked for a tank, so why not for some alien death machine?

… it did pretty much mean that after her sideways burst of speed the brunette was now just running full tilt at the robot, though.

Qingque

Earth — Alien Facility
@FujiwaraPhoenix@Raineh Daze@VitaVitaAR

"Figures." Well, it was expected. Taking a good look at the creature in question though - it was undoubtedly some kind of humanoid, though it was heavily...distorted looking? It reminded her less of the Mara struck and maybe something more along the lines of artificially created. Like its structure wasn't natural or something. Well, no reason to speculate. That wasn't what they were here for. "Understood, Master Diviner. Lightning and stone, five minutes. I'll take out the big guy?"

And so, Qingque would begin to sneak. Thankfully it wasn't hard to move quietly. Lots of practice at it trying to avoid getting noticed slipping out at work. Slipping behind a tree here, waiting behind a conveniently placed rock there and of course, moving quickly enough so when the five minutes was reached and they still hadn't noticed her and she was in the perfect striking distance-!

Thunk

The first tile hit the humanoid creature right in the back of the head with a dull thunk.

The moment it'd take even a second to ponder what it had just gotten beaned with -

thwump thwump-

A second and third tile soon followed one smacking it right between the eyes, the other impacting it right in its mouth, the tiles exploding in a localized quantum explosion.

Kiryu Sento
??? — Ruins

With his kick having landed with terrifying force, Sento used the mechanical monster's leg as a springboard to right himself as he fell back to the ground. The cracked age-old asphalt beneath his feet left a crater as he rose back up and casually dusted himself off before looking at what damage he had incidentally caused by sending the thing careening off with Hibiki. Amidst the rubble, however, that same mechanical beast seemed unperturbed by their two-pronged attack.

If anything, it seemed as if that their attack had only barely scratched it up. Given how it now seemed to be preparing a counterattack, any further analysis would probably have to wait.

The ominously charging beam originating from where the machine's 'head' should have been was enough of an indicator to get out of the way, but the way that his co-combatant seemed to be charging in meant that they didn't exactly share the same plan.

"What sort of bullheaded...? Agh, forget it! She's probably the same type of fighter as those two!" Sento complained before charging back into the fray after her. With leap after leap, the spring on his crimson leg pushed him forward again as he began to zigzag after Hibiki. The end goal was simple enough: pull attention away from her if he could by being a visual nuisance or, failing that, get to the machine's 'neck' and launch another kick or ten to try and break the joints and metalwork keeping it attached.

Earth — Alien Facility

While the impact of the first tile had initially done little more than confuse and agitate the brute as it turned towards wherever it had come from, the second and third promptly exploding in it's face and carving out perfectly spherical holes from it's neck and forehead and leaving the now-lobotomized corpse to crumple to the ground. It's companion, having seen such a sudden execution, is given but a second to alarm the rest of the compound that it is under attack.

The signal is sent, but it's life is forfeit; another attack from the Master Diviner leaves it a headless corpse, sickly blood spilling out into the metal floor nearby.

With the patrol dispatched but the enemy now alerted to the presence of an enemy, the entrance that the pair of aliens were guarding is left locked—sealed by machinery that could may as well be paper to the pair.

After blowing the sliding door open one way or another, both Fu Xuan and Qingque would find themselves in a utilitarian room of metal and plexiglass, with a red symbol marking no small number of the few holograms and panels lining the area. Open doorways nearby would indicate that no lockdown procedures had yet begun, but...

"Be careful, you two. The aliens are aware that you've entered the building. They're taking up positions nearby to box you in. I think they'll to open fire once you make a move," Miku's voice would state from the communicators on the pair. "The equipment you're looking for is probably a bit further in. I don't know if they know that what you're here for, but it isn't out of the question."

Fu Xuan, the Master Diviner

Alien Facility

---The crack of gunfire.

The smell of smoke.

Perhaps this situation would be a challenge for others, but it is of no consequence to myself.

"Rudimentary."

The word leaves my lips. The world shows. Every shot streaks towards its destination within the gaze of the Omnisicia before it has even been fired.

"Stick to the left, Qingque."

I step forward.

The projectiles emerging from their weapons move swiftly. They are likely propelled by electromagnetism, judging by the rate of fire and trajectory. While it it good to understand how they function for future technology collection as requested, it hardly makes a difference to my approach.

I push it out from myself, a thin barrier. I do not need anything more to deal with these feckless cretins. Their strategy is not sufficient to even concern me.

My hand moves, the thin barrier exerting just enough force to deflect the bullet rather then stop it. I have no interest in such measures, for I can utilize their fire in a far more effective manner. Another sweep of my hand, another bullet shifted from its course.

Another.

Another.

Another.

While I have no capacity to alter time, my response happens in the exact instance it is required. Within the gaze of the Omniscia, it is as if the flow of time has slowed to a crawl.

I have already seen where the bullets will arrive, so I know precisely how to change that.

The barrier is no thicker than a sheet of paper, but I require nothing more than that. They are already dead.

I lower my hand, and the flow of time catches up to my perception of the future.

Blood sprays into the air.

Each shot I redirected strikes one of the other soldiers. From this angle, simply guiding them into slaying one another was far simpler than anything else.

But their deaths are already forseen, and I can simply look further forward.

The more swiftly I discern the future, the more swiftly or objective can be fulfilled, and thus the danger will cease.

Ruins

The red-orange beam seared the concrete, melting it away and burning the foliage as the machine tried to trace the movements of the singing girl. This left it open, however, for the sharp blows to the lengthy neck. Almost immediately the 'jaws' snapped shut in an effort to protect its main weapon, as the barrier protecting it flashed brighter, sparks filling the air where the Kamen Rider's blows struck it.

"Warning. Warning."

The monotone voice emanating from the engine of destruction echoed through the overgrown city as it attempted to move back, though if the Symphogear-clad Hibiki was persistent she would almost certainly reach it.

"Barrier Integrity Critical. Viral Agent Threat Level has been elevated. Contacting drone reinforcements."

Tachibana Hibiki

Weaving between the lasers had slowed her down, but it had given the other transformed hero time to get in some more hits – and, well, the sound that the barrier was critical was good news, the part where reinforcements were coming wasn't; not if they were all as tough as this one, and not without some other means of hitting harder. No Ignite, no benefit from multiple wielders' phonic gain…

But all that meant was that this had to go down now.

Which should be simple enough, it wasn't like the brunette had ever terminated or slowed her pursuit, no matter how close the laser had gotten. The Shenshoujing had been much harder to avoid. Closer, closer, closer – now!

Of course, she hadn't jumped right at it, with how much it was backing off Hibiki had completely overshot the mark intentionally. From here, it'd slow her down too much to change angle for a punch, no matter how assisted… but hey, Sento had been doing a lot of kicking right, surely he'd appreciate this?

It was, after all, a straight diving kick. Albeit with rockets.

Of course, at no point in this had Hibiki done more than briefly pause in the singing, although what came out was much closer to just shouting out the line as her kick descended.

Qingque

Earth — Alien Facility
@FujiwaraPhoenix@Raineh Daze@VitaVitaAR

"Left, got it." Following Fu Xuan's orders, Qingque kept to her boss' left. Watching the Master Diviner work was always something, the bullets simply fail to reach her and redirect their trajectories into the other enemies. Of course, she couldn't let herself slack off here otherwise she'd definitely be getting in trouble with more overtime.

Also, Fu xuan was probably likely counting on her to cover the left.

Or use her as a shield so she didn't get ambushed by something. Either or.

More tiles left her hand, the game board floating between her and the bad guys as she'd rapid fire off several tiles, each one bashing the aliens right in the face with well practiced accuracy.

"Which way are we going-Weh?" Qingque ducked, turning the gameboard on its side as a volley of bullets bounced off of its surface. "Hey! Do you know how many hours I had to work to build this thing!?" Qingque shouted, throwing several tiles over her makeshift shield, each finding their mark and ripping a hole in the offending alien.

Kiryu Sento
??? — Ruins

The flurry of blows that Sento had unleashed seemed to be doing more than their fair share of work in grinding down the massive machine's defenses, and the masked hero wasted no time in capitalizing on the opportunity presented to him. If their enemy was on the verge of breaking down and was trying to summon reinforcements to help, then there was little leeway to keep chipping away until something finally gave out.

Once he landed back on the torn-up concrete below, Sento extended his right arm out to his side. From his Driver extended a pair of clear pipes, both of which quickly reformed into a weapon that looked like something between a drill and a sword. With his grip tightening around the handle, Sento cleanly slid the Rabbit Fullbottle out of his belt and onto the slot on his weapon.

"Ready? Go! Vortex Break!"

As the voice declared the attack's name for him, the Kamen Rider drew back his weapon, now whirling around with a crimson tornado of energy, and stabbed it towards where he calculated Hibiki's kick would land. The torrent of red energy burst through the air with terrifying force, and by his knowledge of what he had done this far, would be enough to open the defenses up for long enough to land a clean hit.

@Raineh Daze

Earth — Alien Facility

Between the unrestrained one-sided carnage and shouts of anger and confusion, a bystander viewing the battle unfolding within the facility would have been forgiven if they had thought a well-trained team had invaded—or that the defenders had aim so terrible that they might as well have arrived lobotomized. The latter was certainly not true—the invaders would have had no reason to station defenses that were so woefully underprepared—but the former was equally as untrue.

Could a single pair of young women, equipped with no armor or firearms, cause this much damage without so much as a drop of sweat upon their brows?

The aliens' eyes did not lie, nor did the security cameras recording the chaos as it unfolded. Bullets flying from all directions towards Fu Xuan had simply veered off course, deflected time and time again by something immediately incomprehensible and sent straight into the heads of others attempting to unload their weapons in kind. That was to say nothing of the exploding tiles, of course—those seemed at least somewhat more comprehensible in the moment, but not by much.

"The room you're looking for is down the path to your left. It seems to lead to a larger room in the middle of the building, but there's lots of vantage points on the upper levels with a clear view down, Miku would respond to Qingque's question. "The enemy seems to be moving up there, so be ready for the worst."

Of course, that 'worst' would only further compound as the aliens—the ones still left unharmed, at least—recognized that their efforts to remove Fu Xuan were only reducing their own number and shifted their focus towards the tile-slinging girl by her side.

Whether or not that was a good thing for either of them was another question entirely.
