Hello! My name is ShankySpice and I used to write on this site once upon a time, but that account is long gone and my urge to write sticks around...so I am back. I haven't used this site in a heckin long time so forgive me if I forget how to use the coding and mechanics to make things look nice and neat, I used to have it down but I'm a bit rusty haha. I am looking for some partners for some various 1x1's, but first, some things about me eh?
●ABOUT SHANKY●:
*I am a 34 year old nonbinary married lesbian, I will not write with anyone under 18.
*I have a full-time job. I will not reply every day, please be okay with a 2-3 times a week sort of flow from me.
*I am a high casual - low advanced novel style writer capable of writing multiple paragraphs, and grammar is important to me.
*I prefer to keep to one character per person with multiple side/minor/npcs for the sake of not feeling overwhelmed, but I can take on two characters if I am feeling compelled to and the desire to.
*I prefer to roleplay in DMS, email, or discord possibly (though the character limit is irritating) to keep things private for all parties involved as I do prefer mature themes.
*I prefer to hash out soft and hard limits and the like over message before starting the roleplay, as well as plot etc. I am a very communicative writing partner and hope to find people equally invested in building a great story together.
*I will ALWAYS play feminine or nonbinary characters, as that is what is comfortable for me, and prefer wxw/wlw or nonbinary leaning sapphic stories as again, that is what is comfortable for me. I will not write mxm or mxf as that is not a comfortable writing place for me and I have no experience or desire to write it. That being said, my sole purpose is to write stories about adventure, mystery, intrigue, tragedy. Romance, will be taking a back seat to plot, though, I do have a few plots that are romance based and those can be discussed if interested.
*I prefer to collaborate with fellow queer individuals but that's merely a preference, not a rule or limit. I will write with anyone I feel comfortable doing so.
*I reserve the right to cancel or drop out of any story at any time, but will communicate why and if that is to happen and would hope you will do the same. Just be considerate and respectful, we're both humans with emotions and crap. Be Kind.
*I am majorly looking for stories based in various fandoms that I love, as I am looking to save most of my in-depth world-building for my personal writing (tryna be published some day, ya know?) and use this site as a tool to kickstart my writing muse.
*Even though I'm looking for fandoms, that is simply the world that I wish to write in, I prefer to only play original characters in that said fandom, no canon characters please. I do not feel comfortable writing an established character simply because I am a perfectionist and would critique not doing them justice. Less anxiety when the character is my own, and more freedom. There are rare instances where I will crave a canon character in my story.

P L O T B U N N I E S:
*I will preface this by saying I am not a Christian, I just know that the concept of the seven deadly Sins is derived from Christian mythology so this may have some inaccuracies to the belief system and is not based on it, I just like the idea
It's a very loose plot, but I have this idea of the seven deadly sins being trapped in hell for a crime related to their sin. Hell works in the same way as earth: forced to work a job for no pay. All meals provided, housing provided, everything necessary provided but nothing satisfies the people there. They survive, but don't live. Everyrhing is monotonous. That's the point of the torture, to make people feel dead while they're...dead. The devil, whatever his name is, no one sees him often, rules with an iron fist. But there's a rumor, a rumor that if someone were to make it past all seven levels of hell back to the surface, they'd be granted new life. We would be playing two of the seven deadly sins trying to escape the levels of hell together to be granted new life, and a new chance. The seven levels are basically where the people go during the day to be tortured, at "night" time they go back to their assigned housing in a neutral zone that houses everyone, it's called The Abyssium. I can go more into detail while we world-build together but people travel among the floors via elevators of all things.
(If you've seen the Netflix show Kaos, the Underworld is what I'm basing this on with my own twist)
Each of the levels of hell is based on one of the seven deadly sins, based on the sin they committed. I would like us to customize our own sin's level/punishment and like how it's designed/ what the people there are being punished like.

Kind of a twist on Ranma 1/2 combined with Fruits Basket. We will be playing two either university students or two adults in various jobs that meet somehow. Only, my character changes gender every time they touch someone of the opposite gender as the gender they currently are. This will be a romance, fade to black for any smut please, and I prefer to play against a woman, keeping it pretty sapphic even if sometimes my partner will be masculine. I want to have a really sappy, campy "love defies all barriers" type of story, like those sappy romance movies we all watch.

What if there was a hidden story, one never told, about a woman who had been kidnapped by a secret science organization because she had powers? She had the power to see into people's minds, to live their lives and as though she were them, but she has no control over it. What if she was currently strapped to so many machines, kept prisoner by this organization and used as their research puppet for some purpose, and she was unconscious but able to still use her power. What if she used that power to push her mind into those of the living humans around the city? Each day, living her life in someone else's mind, as someone else. What if she connected with someone? Fell in love with someone?
What if that someone was your character? What if I played the woman who every day appeared as someone else and over time you discovered the truth and our characters fell in love and somehow your character helps my character to freedom? Maybe your character has a super power that helps this process? It's a rough idea but someone please help me bring this idea to life. I crave it!!

**another verrry basic plot. Our two characters live in different cities or on opposite coasts, maybe different countries or continents. But one day one of our characters texts the other by mistake, intending to text aomeone they knew and maybe the text is humorous but this sparks a pen pal style texting relationship that eventually turns into love as rhe characters fall for each other and then maybe they move in together and who knows what happens after that.
I want this to be FxF and very campy and very very gay. A large part of this will be texts, so responses can be on the shorter side but I still want like background stuff like what your character did that day and maybe there's multiple texts per post but still, more quick paced and less novella but so, so cute.
