Dammit.

Booker panted heavily as he turned around slowly to see the destruction that was caused from the very recent battle. He felt like his body was going to tear itself apart if he didn't do something, but it wasn't safe to just let all of that energy out at once, especially in a populated area. He knew the dangers of it and he wasn't going to rick so many lives for his own safety. It being on the edge of death was the price that he had to pay for keeping his city calm and almost crime-free. The energy surged through his body, giving the people and reporters around him the appearance that electricity was flowing through his body. Because of the amount of energy stored in his body, his usual electric-blue eyes were now an impossibly light and vivid blue color. His bark blue mask that had covered many parts of his face made sure that he wouldn't be discovered while in civilian attire, and his x-men like body suit had armoring that changed his physique to make him seem slightly bigger and stronger than he actually was, the main colors being a dark blue, gunmetal grey, and a dark black. Unlike most of the other heroes, he didn't really have any insignia or logo that would make people identify him as "The Blue Blur" Or simply just "Blur" in many cases.

Many areas of the park had been either charred, singed, or still burning. Scorch may have been fairly weak again Booker, but unlike Booker, he had no limits to his use of powers, and could keep launching fire at the hero until he exploded of energy in a bomb-like fashion. Scorch had left the area about twenty minutes ago, and if Booker wasn't filled to the brim with energy, he might have considered going after him. More minutes passed at the hero simply stood there, prompting the reporters to encircle him and send a barrage of questions his way.

"Blur, will you be going after Scorch?"
"What are you going to do about the park?"
"Blue Blur, did any civilians escape unharm- Is that Vomit?"

The reporters all took steps away from him as he nearly collapsed on the ground and began to vomit. The thing about having so much energy inside him, is that it would sometimes get to his nerves and cause him to do things uncontrollably. After he was done spilling out his lunch, he slowly got up from his spot on the ground and looked around. "I will catch him, but not today. He got away this time, but the next time will be different." He spoke quickly as he released a small burst of plasma around him, causing everyone to look away from him and giving his the chance to escape from the reporters. His body ached from the fight, and it didn't help that he was still a ticking bomb full of energy. He made his way to an alleyway and leaned up against a wall for support, his body now starting to feel the full effects from not only the extensive use of his powers, but also from the recent fight. His legs gave out on him and he collapsed to the ground, his mask dislodging from it's place on his face but still managing to stay on just a little. His sight was the next thing to go, but he was still doing his best to hold on to his consciousness as he lay there on the ground in the empty alleyway, crawling slowly forward until his arms gave out as well, then finally his consciousness.

Little did he know, a certain organization dealing with forming groups of people like him was watching his every move from a distance.

Black widow handed the goggles to Hawkeye and said "his the one Fury talked about. His perfect for shield" She stoood up and hit her comm. "Nick, we found the man known as Blur. Shall we bring him in?" "Go right ahead, Widow. We just got reports of a Hydra base that needs to be checked out. We might need him" Widow nodded and looked at HAwk eye. "Lets go meet our new friend" They both jumped down and landed in the alleyway, Widow running over to the mutant and checking his pulse. "his still with us, we need to get him back to Shield." Her and Hawkeye picked Blur up and carried him out of the alleyway and to a copper that was landing in the street. They jumped on and hte chopper took off again, heading for Shield headquaters.

For most of the ride to Shield HQ, Blur lay silently as he was passed out on the floor of the chopper. Slowly waking up, his vibrant blue eyes scanned the area, wondering where he was and why he felt so weird. He could hear the loud whirring of the chopper, but his vision was still a blur, and his body still screamed in pain. His breathing was heavy and slow. He didn't know where he was or where he was going, but he could figure out that two people where somewhat close to him. He knew know how close, or anything about them, but he was aware of their presence. Blur attempted to move, but only resulted in his groaning in pain as he still laid there. His vision was slowly returning, but not at a rate that he liked.

Black Widow rested a hand on his shoulder and said "I wouldn't move around, Blur...your body is in not the best of shape. Once we get you to base you can start burning off that energy in the boom room we have set up...We should be getting there any minute now" Hawkeye walked over and said "Banner is getting the boom room ready for him. He said he is pretty sure it can hold that energy in" Widow nodded and said "Perfect, then Fury can talk to him once he feels better" The Chopper landed on the base's landing deck, Widow and Hawkeye helping Blur up.

Blur listened to what the two had to say, and although he could barely see, his hearing was fine. neither of the names stuck out for him, and he was still very unsure of what exactly was going on, They must have either seen his fight with Scorch, or picked up the walking time bomb of energy striding around town to find him. As the chopper landed, Blur moved very slowly, and even with the help of the two people, his body was still in massive amounts of pain. He just needed to keep himself held together for just a little while longer before he could release it all. His eyesight had returned a little more, and although many things were still blobs and blurs, he could make out a few details of the people next to him.

Hawkeye looked at Widow and said "He is not looking good" She smiled and said "He will once he can release all that energy built up. Come on" They carried him inside and to the main labs where Banner was waiting, a huge door behind him. "Ah, finally. Lets get him insdie. Once I secure the locks, he can let it all loose" The pair carried him inside the huge vault looking room and Widow set him down. "Once we give the all clear, let it all go. Don't worry, the energy wont get out of this room" Then the pair headed for the door and Banner hit the locking system. Once the vault was locked Widow hit the comm system and said "Alright Blur, let it rip"

At first, Blur struggled to stay on his feet without the help of the two people, whom he had now recognized as Black Widow and Hawkeye now that he had his vision back. He waited until both of them were outside and on the other side of the door until releasing the energy like Banner had told him to. He only nodded his head slightly as he started small, releasing only a small amount, but gradually releasing much more by every passing second. It didn't take very long, but when he had reached his peak, the room became engulfed in a blue light for a moment before returning to it's natural color. With all of the energy out of his system, Blur felt like and empty shell, and quickly leaned against a wall for support. He felt good knowing that he could just let all of the energy out without the risk of hurting anyone, and a small smile graced his face as he panted heavily. A hand rose to his face and fully dislodged the mask that covered much of his face. There wasn't any need to hide from these people, since he was in the presence of half of the avengers, people like him.

The vault doors opened and Black widow walked back in, smiling. "Good to see you smiling. If your up for it, the others are wanting to meet you and we have mission we need to start planning" She pulled his arm around her shoulders and helped him out of the Boom room, Banner and Hawkeye waiting for them. Hawkeye said "Tony and the Cap are in the war room now. Nick should be there in a few"

With more names being thrown around, Booker didn't know what to say. He simply walked with Widow out of the room and looked at the two men standing before him. He would be meeting two more of the avengers in a brief amount of time, and he was truly excited to see them all. Despite all of this, Booker didn't know what to say. Why did they want him? And what kind of mission would they need that involved him? "Let's get going then.." He forced out a full sentence with a little pain, but pushed past it anyways. "If you knew about me, and where I'd be... then I'm going to assume that SHIELD knows more than they're letting on..." Those words were directed more or Hawkeye and Banner, rather than all three of them, and although he wasn't sure if Banner was a part of this agency, he knew that the doctor would have some sort of affiliation with them.

Banner said "Shield has had his eye on your for some time. And they can use someone like you...Someone who can control..." Widow shook her head as they walked into a huge room with a round smart table. Stark and Cap were already there, Widow and Hawkeye helping him sit down. Banner said "I guess I need to stay..." Widow nodded and said "The next needs your smarts...and maybe your other side"

Although Banner had drifted off, Booker finished it in his head with his best assumption. "Plasma." He finished in his head. As he slowly sat down, it took all of his self restraint from bursting into a fanboy at the sight of most of the avengers right in front of him. They were heroes, more than he was. He wondered what Banner's "Other side." would be needed for at this time, but he only knew very little at the time, and just needed to keep quiet.

Widow looked at the others then said "Well, Tony, Cap, this is Blue Blur. His the one that Fury has been watching" Hawkeye said as he leaned against the table. Banner said "Is this for the Hydra base mission?" She nodded. "Ya, and after Fury briefs us, we need to get going. Agents have it locked down but they won't be alone for long"

When the name of Hydra was brought up, Cap perked up a bit and looked around. He remembered Hydra and the Red Skull very wells, so he had taken some interest in this. Tony had taken notice of Cap's reaction to the information, but chose not to say anything about it. The two of them looked at Blur, who had his mask in his hand, rather than on his face. "It's nice to meet you." Cap spoke up as he nodded, but then turned his head back to Widow and Hawkeye. "Do either of you know where the base is? Tony could fly over there and take a diagnostic check, see anything out of the ordinary."

Widow nodded and typed on the smart table and a globe appeared and on the map a dot appeared in London. "The base was found downtown London. Cap, if you and blur want to take a jet and tony fly over, you guys will get there faster. We need to get to that base before hydra does" hawkeye nodded and added "and to see how the new guy does in the field"

Blur nodded at this little test, but he saw that it was a little much just to see how well he would fare against dangers. If they had looked into the file that he assumed they had of him, then they would know about his powers, abilities, and backstory. He had also assumed that Cap and Tony knew next to nothing about him, so Blur decided to fill them in. "With my Plasma Manipulation, I can either sap the electricity from machines, causing them to shut down, or overload them and make them explode. It does the same job, but in two ways. I also have control over fire as well, but I doubt that will help in this case." Cap and Tony nodded at him, and Tony took a small step away from him since if he could sap plasma and energy, then having him around the arc reactor wouldn't be a good idea. "We should get going then. I'll be over in London pretty quick, so I'll see you all there." With that, tony left. Cap left as well, but motioned for Blur to follow him, which he did.

Widow said "good luck you guys....and blur? Try not to over do it, alright?"

At the base hydra was working to get into the base already, using cutting torches to get thru the big steel doors. One of the goons was going over files and said "boss? Looks like the top protect inside is called angel of death weapon..."

With a sigh, Blur nodded to widow as he left the room with Cap.

With a state-of-the-art jet, it didn't take very long for the two of them to get to London, where the hydra base was. As they got closer, Cap seemed to be off. Hydra brought back a lot of memories for him, and none of them were good. When they finally reached a location close to the base, they met up wit Tony, who was now in a suit, and proceeded to move towards this base.

When they reached the base they would see hydra was there, but not in good shape. When they got closer, they would see most of them were already dead, either beaten to death or some kind of illness or were nothing but skin and bones. When they got inside it was the same story, the lab in ruins apart from one cyro tank at the far end of the lab that looked untouched. Widow called tony and cap and said "is everything alright over there?"

When the trio got inside the lab, they decided to stay together and look around. Tony was the first to respond to Widow. "We're fine, but this place is a mess. Far worse than the ones I tend to make. Hold on." Tony moved closer to the cryo-tank as they got closer to it, and used the computer in his suit to scan it and see if whoever was in there was still alive or not. "A woman's in the tank, and I can't tell if she's alive or not. We'll have to open it up and hope for the best."

Widow sighed and said. "Alright but be careful. I'm sending a team to handle clean up and to gather as much data as they can....maybe we got lucky and hydra left some thing behind" widow started making calls to send in a squad. Hawkeye was standing with her and watching the video feed tony was giving them and he said "something bad happened there...." He hit the comm and said " cap, stark keep on your toes. Whatever did this could still be there"
