@Ellri: Good question, I think for the most part it was a general range of animals and if he had continued on with his studies and pursued his PHD he would have specialized.

Threw in a fairly short post now to explain why Ylva is unavailable for a while IC. This is because we're going to be gone for the next 11 days, with no internet access. With the onboard stargate, it will be easy to have her (re)join the ship when we return from our easter vacation. We did not want her to be a delay for other characters to work things out, so while she could easily have been on board without interacting, it felt more natural to not have her on board.
