I think the bandits are dead by now, if you're just entering town it's quite the blood bath with bodies on pretty much every street I believe. I know there's at least five bandits dead on the main street.

thought the welrod was a breech loading single shot, where you had to screw the bolt back, place a bullet in the chamber and then screw the bolt in again. at least, the one in the picture. there are others that work like that though but they look a little bit different.

i just looked it back up. its a simple twist and pull, load, then push and twist back in. there are a few versions that have clips though. from what i have seen its like a miniature bolt action with a stripper clip. the handle doesn't come off but the bullets are pushed down into it.

So i guess its up to you what kind you want to use. its a breeh loader either way. if you didn't have stripper clips to fast feed bullets into your pistol, then you would have to push each one in. though again, there were still versions that had room for only 1 bullet if you still wish to use that.

In case you wanted to see who all was injured in a summary:

Well, my guy starting to get blurry vision after taking out that bandit in Taffy's, he's now beyond seriously injured from his two bandit encounters. Twix is KO and his arm is bleeding. Flint has a new hole in his ear, and ran off before I could reach him. I'd have to read it over again to see any more injuries.

In regard to geography, we did make an map earlier in the thread buried somewhere. But I think the best description is a big main street, littered with bodies, if that works.

I don't think she's anything THAT special.. Remember she's going to be all dirty and bruised and covered in ash etc. Don't get too worked up guys. Also remember Thalia only has a rudimentary understanding of medicine and anatomy, don't go falling out of any collapsing buildings on me.

I think it's just the fact that everyone's thinking; "OMG, it's a girl...", typical :P But knowing the basics is more than what most people know in an apocalypse, no schools to teach you how to stitch people up.

Yeah, from what I understand it's only a few stragglers around now, trying to find some loot before leaving the town. We killed up to 20 people by now.
