Well, you can hardly call what happened to our home a “war”, really. The Crusaders just took it all and made it theirs; all because of that damned leader of theirs.
Oh, you haven't heard, have you? About their leader? Don't worry, I'll fill you in.
His name is a mystery; even to the government he felled. They say he's a super-human, though. He makes those … things, the Crusaders wear; their armor and weapons and all that. They say he can build anything out of scrap metal, just by thinking about it. He calls himself “God”; explains why he chose the name “Crusaders” for his soldiers, huh?
You wonder what this has to do with being underground? It's simple, really. We never go the chance to fight the war before it was over, so now we're gonna fight. Anyone can join us. We're the “Liberation Front” … I'm still thinking for a name for us. Anyways, I figured that if he can be a super-human, then maybe there's others, too. Maybe there's tons of them out there and they're just afraid that the world will hate them. I mean, he's obviously been around for a while; he's not exactly an infant. If you know any, send them to me. If you know anyone else who wants to fight, send them to me. If you want to fight, you're welcome, too.

Not much is known about this man who came and turned the world around. Even though it feels like it has been a lifetime, it was really just a few years ago. He is a superhuman. A Technopath, they call him. He can create any sort of technology from just a few scraps of metal. He wills it and it happens.
Four years ago, give or take a month or two, he rose. The Crusaders, his soldiers, stood behind him. All of their weapons were beyond what we had ever imagined building. Their armors were like something out of a science fiction movie. Everything was so far beyond what we were capable of and he did it like it was nothing.
After forcing the world to obey his word as their new leader by threat and force, he simply proclaimed himself The New God, build himself a castle of metal and technology and sat in his throne while his Crusaders roamed the streets, ready to pull the trigger on anyone acting out of line.
“The Archangels”
The Archangels are a group of superhumans who follow The New God. There is said to be seven of them, but few has ever been seen.
The powers of these seven Archangels have, however, been made public.
Gabrielle, The Messenger, does something called Visual Projection; she makes illusions. She is also the only female amongst the Archangels.
Michael, The Warrior, is able to bend the very ground we stand on; he can manipulate, shape and control all earthen objects, such as dirt, stone, sand and even dust; this power is known as Geokinesis.
Raphael, The Healer, has the power to control and manipulate water in all of its forms and shapes, something they call Aquakinesis.
Uriel, The Guard, is able to create, manipulate and shape flames and fire; a power known as Pyrokinesis.
Raguel, The Judge, has the ability to not only read the minds of others, but also project his own thoughts into these minds; this power is called Telepathy
Remiel, The Watcher, has a power known as Electrokinesis; the ability to manipulate electricity and electric currents.
Sariel, The Angel of Death, has a power that is most feared amongst all of the human race; his mere touch will bring you nothing but eternal sleep in the form of death.

Unlike what most people think when they see these robot-looking men roaming the streets with their large guns and even larger armors, the Crusaders are just regular human men and women within giant, technological suits of pure scientific enhancement. There is nothing biologically altered within these humans.

Although superhumans as such just became publicly known when The New God took his throne, humans with powers beyond that of the normal have been around since the dawn of time. Many of our historical figures, religious prophets and “fictional” heroes have been the superhumans of their time.
Normally, the superhumans stay in hiding, due to an instinct to fit in, much like a bird will fly away whenever something gets too close or how you withdraw your hand from something that hurts you. Sometimes, however, these instincts fail; birds get run over or eaten, idiots search for pain and superhumans feel the need to do something great and come out of hiding.
Superhumans' powers range from anything as simple as supersonic hearing or “hawk eyes” to such things as technopathy or telekinesis.
Unlike what was first assumed, who becomes a superhuman is not random; it is a part of the genetic code. Some people have the possibility, some do not. It is like having blue eyes. The power, however, is completely random. Even if both parents happen to have the same power, their child may never get one and if it does, the power it receives is random. Two telepaths can have a son with super strength, for example.
“The World”
After The New God took over, the world has fallen to ashes, so to speak. The people live in fear of the powers of both The New God himself, his superhuman Archangels and the hi-tech Crusaders that now roam their streets. Life has gotten hard; money is hard to earn and food stuffs are expensive. Things such as coffee, chocolate and fresh fruit or vegetables are next to impossible to get a hold on and also illegal. Alcohol, sugar, cream and oil has been made illegal, as well. Almost all beauty products, such as makeup, skin creams, perfumes and conditioners are against the law.
The New God commanded that humanity was weak, lazy and sloppy and that he would make them human once more by all of these new rules. More work and less play as well as a gun to their backs, humanity does not have much choice but to obey.
-Sugar, tobacco, alcohol, cream, fresh fruit and vegetables, coffee, beauty products and many more things are illegal.
-The curfew is 9PM for anyone not working night shifts.
-Books, the internet, TV and radio is banned and burned.
-Marriage is banned.
-Religion is banned.
-Each “couple” is constricted to one child.
-Everyone is assigned a job, you do not get to choose.

Oh, so you want to know about my liberation front, huh? Well, my name is Jackson, that's all you really need to know about me. We have our quarters in the Asylum. I know I know, we're in a mental institution, but it's the only place in the city safe from The Judge, after they had the walls coated with that nano-stuff to keep the crazies out of his head. We are a few hundred members in all, but far the most of us are just regular humans; no superpowers here. We have a few superhumans, but I guess most of the follow The New God or are still in hiding.
What we want is to take down the New God and get the world back the way it was. My kids are growing up in world where they can't have candy. And I miss my alcohol so damn much. Tobacco, too. Oh, and coffee, that bitter old bitch.
So, do you want to help us?

So, this will be High-Casual, very character developement focused and probably slow paced roleplay. I want players who are able to take it slow and still enjoy what they are doing and I want depth in each and every post (obviously, you can have a writers block or something; that is totally acceptable). I should warn you that I can be a bit tough, though.
And, uhh, I'm honestly known to be a bit bitchy at times, but that's because I'm a great fan of detail. Even though I want everyone to be creative and all that, I would still appriciate some realism.
I don't want you to be childish about it. I won't mind if you discuss things with me, but I don't want any “well, if it can't be my way, I'll just leave”... 'cause then I can gladly slam the metaphorical door in your face.
I'm not “rude”. I'm honest.
With that said, I actually do have some humor, though my sense of humor is quite special. I would blame the fact that I am danish, but even danes think I'm weird.
Like everyone else, I find it funny if people fall over; as long as they don't get hurt. I find nudity funny. I even find the taboos funny, sometimes. I don't mind a dirty joke or a “a jew walks into a bar” sort of thing, but we should respect each other.
