Van looked at her slowly "I don't Understand why you care about him but I guess there is no other choice" raised his gun toward her and shot. Dracula bolted between the bullet and Avery, the bullet went through his heart ripping through it. he coughed up blood dropping to the ground chest bleeding. He coughed and winced. He hissed angrily, as the moon started turning red, a symbol of True Dracula's power. van helsing didn't care he had to destory Dracula, he grabbed a holy dagger and smirks walking toward Count. Dracula winced and hissed and grabbed Avery and ran out bleeding harshly he shot through the night and to the town. he was dying no blood could save him. He came to avery's home and ran in and put her down "stay....Please" he said gently (let this happen you'll see what happens) The Hunter saw the Coutn come back and they two faught for hours. When it was all over, The hunter died as well as the count. But the count's blood did something magical. It flowed Into Bane making him true immortal revsing the wounds, turning him into a half blood, he would wake up and see Van helsing dead but Dracula was dead as well....for now. the moon glows red slightly.

Bane didn't wake for days, the alpha watching over the house for his departed ally and knowing bane would be a target. Avery waited till the next morning till she went back, finding the count and the hunter. She fell to her knees by the count, tears rolling down her cheek. She rested a hand on his eyes and closed them, sobbing quietly. "Payout fought bravely my love....so bravely..." She didn't know why she said it but she knew he could hear her. She looked up to see some of the pack members and they came and helped her take his body back to the manor, resting him in his coffin. She then found the alpha who lead her to bane, who was still recovering. And there she stayed for days, by his side, wanting her to be the first he saw and the one to tell him that his best friend was gone.

The alpha stayed close by and lays on the ground slowly. in the coffin the blood of the count started to fix himself but no would be able to tell for a very long time. His blood was being repared by a spell someone not there was doing. The alpha hears Bane wake up and walked in slowly and looked at him gently. He lowered his head slowly tears falling from his eyes feeling heart break for his friend. his ears flicked slightly.

Bane opened his eyes weakly, looking around to see the pair there, both crying. Bane closed his eyes, feeling the tears coming . "I told him no...I knew it was a trap....I knew that hunter wouldn't wait a week...." He sat up, covering his face. "I didn't get to say goodbye...." He lowered his head, Avery moving to sit on the bed and hug him, both of them crying now. After a few days bane was recovered and knew what the count had done for him. He kept the manor the same, and Avery soon moved into the castle to keep working on her research. But on the side she decided that she would never lose anyone like that again. So she started training in the art of combat, learning from the furies as well as bane. She soon could fight off most creatures they could think of and once in a while she would take cases where the creatures would appear and either relocate them, or end them. This night was one she had to end the beast, a wendigo that had been attacking hikers. She was very late coming back, her body bruised and cut, a nasty wound on her side and head still bleeding as she opened the back door and went inside, locking the door. She pasted the kitchen and paused by the counts old room, now holding his coffin and being protected by the pair. She rested a hand on the door and said "I'm home, boss....I hope I made you proud today.....saved six humans...." She flinched, feeling dizzy but pushed thru it as she headed to her room. Bane was gone handling a pack problem so she was alone.

She would see that three bats where hanging on the rafter asleep, Dracula only owned a bat, who where the other bats. the bats opened their wings gently and screetched and flew off back into the counts room. Where in the shadows lay millions of bats, all recovering, all healing the count inside the coffin cuts where nearly gone. His finger twiched, a smile curled up on his lips. After four more days when Bane came back, there was a odd feeling in the air, almost like a warm comforting feeling. Several bats flew around the house and screeched happily and then flew back into the counts room. Where million bats eyes shot open, their eyes glowing red. they cawed and screeched and raced around the room and all vanished inside the coffin. the counts eyes twiched a bit and opened. he sat up and slowly wobbled to his feet, his dazzling eyes where deep red color. He stumbled around and came upstairs and walked into the room where Bane and Avery where and smiled gently "i am very proud of both of you" he whispers into the wind, he was invisble to their eyes but they could hear him. dracula walked toward the door the invisbality cloak falling off. he slipped out and sat on the roof and looked out into the forest and smiled gently. watching the sun rse and closed his eyes as the sun never burned him anymore, his skin glows in the sunlight as he spread his arms out happily. The eyes of dracula's painting glow, Bane knew that, Boss was back , he was alive.

Bane had been treating Avery's wounds, shaking his head. "I told you to wait till I got back....your not me, ave, you can't heal fast like me" she shook her head and said "I know....I know...I just abate sitting around..." Then they heard his voice and bane jumped up, looking around wildly. Avery got up, holding her still injured side and said "you heard that right?" Bane nodded, sniffing the air and then said "it's him....it's the boss...." Avery said "but...his gone" bane shook his head and said "the boss is never really gone...I should have known..." Bane started searching the manor, Avery sitting back down and looking at her wounds. "Welcome back boss...wherever you are"

Dracula scent could be traced outside and oward the roof. the count sat there and yelped as he was tackled by Bane and they fekl off the room and he lands gently with wolf hugging him tightly "hey Bane how are you?" he asked smiling gently

Bane hugged him then hit him in the shoulder. "You ever do that again I swear I'll kill you. It took you two months to recover, your getting slowly" he jumped up,helping the count up. "So you want to tell me how it all went down before I let Avery get a piece of you?"

"well it was bloody fighting the entire time till I was fately hurt as well as Van helsing, he asked why i would even ut up a fight and I told him that i had a family to protect and he killed me but i took him down with me. You see there is a magic stronger then death bane and its love" he chuckled gently as he gets up looking at the werewolf "speaking of wich o have seen you both working hard and I am very proud of the two of you" he smiled gently

Bane looked away and said "we needed to stay busy....to keep going...." He looked at the manor and said "she's good boss...she took over your cases...the things that go out of control...she handles them when I can't"

The count nodded his head "well thats good to see" he msiled gently smiling gently, but he needed to travel soon. it was that time of year for him when he would just c=vanish for the winter, no one knew where he went but he just seemed to vanish all over again.

Bane sighed and said "maybe you should go... Your yearly trip is soon and I don't want Avery to get used to here then you leaving again...."

"she could go if she really wanted to, I go to each clan of the supernartuals's hell if could be a family trip" he mused slightly.

BNe looked at him and said "you never even let me go. Why the change?"

"i don;t know it justa good idea for a reason. We could use it and so could Avery, she wants to know the supernartual familes then lets all go, the werewolves can watch the castle but yoyr coming you get to see the world of difference then you might think" he smirks gently.

Bane stood there blinking till he said "guess I don't have much of a choice...I better get Avery patched up from her fight"

The count nodded slowly "that would do " he smiled walking into the castle and hugged Avery just happy she was alive and well "I'm sorry "

Avery smiled and said "I knew you wouldn't be gone for good..." She flinched and babe caught and said "easy partner...you need to rest up"

"I would say. What attacked you so harshly? " the count asked blinking.

She blushed as bane said "she went after a wendigo without back up...again" Avery glared at him and said "people were in trouble. And you had problems of your own" she gasped in pain as bane set her down to look at her wounds
