Avery nodded and bane didn't answer. After dark fell they were shown guest quarters and bane went straight to his room to lay down. His head was pounding and it was hard for him to think clearly. After a couple f hours bane heard a scream and he jumped up, looking around wildly. Then he heard shouts and a bat like cry. "Boss...ave..." He jumped up and burst out of the door, looking around wildly till he saw the last thing he ever thought he would see. The count on the ground and Avery pinned to the man from his nightmares. General strike...,the man who wiped out his pack. He growled and partly shifted "you....monster....you won't take this family....not this time... " he roared and jumped at the man, Avery moving to the side as bane grabbed the man by the throat....

Avery was fighting to break banes grip, her feet barely touching the ground as bane tried to stop her breathing. "Bane...bane wake up....bane it's me...bane..." He pulled her to the railing and pushed her to hang partly over the edge. "Bane snap out of it! Bane your dreaming!" Avery couldn't break his grip, banes eyes clouded over like he was in a trance.

The count coughed gently and gets up bleeding sharply, he looked over "BANE STOP" he shreiked and ran over and his wing retracted and slammed Bane in the gut cand caught Avery, He winced in agony, three ribs broken "bane snap out of it" he grumbled at the werewolf, in alot of pain, .

Avery grabbed the railing, keeping them both up. Bane got up, looking around and seeing helsing standing over the count and he growled. "Get away from him, hunter....I won't let you take him again!" Avery saw him this time and moved the count over and jumped over bane, landing behind him. "It's like his sleep walking, I can't snap him out of it" bane turned towards Avery again, shifting into his hybrid form and barking in anger

The count grabbed Bane shoulder and yanked him back "Bane stop its not realy its not real" he said firmly trying to keep Avery safe. The dragon anthro eyes glow makign the illusion strong on the werwolf

Bane grabbed him and threw him away and said "stay back boss...I won't let you get hurt this time..." Avery shook her head at the count. "Don't worry....he will have to catch me first...just find the link and break it" bane jumped for her again and she turned out of the way and let him pass her. But bane turned fast and rack her back with his claws, causing her to trip and fall to her knees, flinching as bane stood over her

The count shot off and saw the dragon and roaring he slashed his eyes ending the illusion swiftly over Bane. he shot back and did five pressure points on bane

Bane was to warding over Avery, Avery moving away on the floor. When he was about to strike he blinked and suddenly Avery was in front of him, stopping him dead in his tracks. "Ave? What...." Then he was hit and bane fell backward, Avery trying to get up to catch him

The count caught the werewolf and lowered him to the ground "hey you ok?" he asked and looked at Avery "you bleeding" he winced slightly at the smell of blood.

She nodded and said "I'm fine, just a couple cuts. What the heck is going on? What got into him?" Bane stirred slightly, but wasn't getting up any time soon

"dragon was back made an illusion to cause Bane to get mad, I made it so that he couldn'[t give the illusion"

She nodded, resting a hand on banes cheek. "Oh bane...I hope he will be alright...his mind must have been in such stress"

The count grunted in pain slightly thinking to himself about something his head hurting.

Avery looked at him and said "boss? You alright? Did you hurt yourself?"

"Yeah I'm fine" coughed gently painly

Avery raised an eyebrow and moved over to him, checking his ribs. "Hold on, I'll do the heat thing again"

"its not that...its a pain in my memory" he said slowly closing his eyes wincing

Avery moved back and said "what memory? Mother taught me that speaking the memory out loud puts it to rest..." She looked down at bane and said "and I don't think we are moving for a while"

"it doesn't ever help this memeory, I have spoken about it for three hundred years" he shuddered gent;ly, sighing gently

She made him look at her and for a moment it looked like Mina. "Please..."
