Filled with the desire to know more about the world, he took possession of a tree and used it to explore. He wondered through the forest and watched it's creatures, from birds and foxes to bears and wolves. The most interesting creatures were, of course, the mortals. Humans who would come into the forest seeking their fortune, either picking at ruins or taking the forest as profit, or the elves who claim that all the woods were theirs to keep. Treen-an was indifferent to it all at first, but soon he began to form his own ideals and opinions. On one hand, the forest belonged to no one, so none could truly lay claim to it. But everyone had the right to benefit from it, however that may be. Either though the wood it provides, the animals that live there, or simply the space it occupies. But with these ideals came Tree-an's own desires. He had grown fond of the forest he had lived in for so long. So he began to serve as it's guardian, ensuring that none took too much but made sure that the woods did not take what was not theirs. He because the judge and executioner of the forest, self appointed.
Years went on as Tree-an continued to serve as the Forest's protector. Many ha died by his hands but many more were saved. However, he had a feeling that he was no longer needed. He came to a realization that the forest and those who live in it were more than strong enough to protect themselves without him. He felt that his life was beginning to lose meaning for this reason, until one day he was met with an elf. That day changed his life, and now he follows her to find a new meaning in his existence.
