*The World Unseen- The day my brother died was the day the world around me changed forever and I saw a world that many could not. By understanding what has been told to me...This world use to have magic and wonder with a peaceful rule by the Elders but one of them became corrupt, wanting more power then the others so he stole it from the subjects each time growing darker and cursing most of the ones he stole powers from to be his shadow reapers. Monsters that craved destruction,had a never ending hunger, and a void they tried to fill but never could. Magic was slowly dying from the world as the Corrupt became stronger with not many able to stand up to him before death came their way and that was if they were lucky. For this reason, the rest of the Elders came together to make a special relic that would have all the powers of each Elder to help seal away the Corrupt one once and for all. All but two of them gave up their powers and lives to make the relic that would seal away the darkness.When the last two Elders did manage to seal the Corrupt away, the relic broke into nine pieces of power, one special power from each fallen Elder. The two decided to keep them safe through the ages and maybe make it whole once more but it seemed fate made it so they never could. The two became guardians over the relics until one day, shadow reapers started to appear but with no magic in the world....the subjects could no longer see them or any magic shown for it would appear as something else. They were defenseless and the two knew that the darkness was awakening again to take over everything as well as get revenge for the imprisonment. It was then decided that they would bless nine people with the nine relics in hopes that they could defend the people against the shadow reapers and come together to seal the Corrupt once more and they would teach each of them everything they needed to learn their powers. Sadly, one of the nine decided that having all the relics in their power was what they wanted, tainting themselves with darkness as they tried to kill the others to take the relics from them. It was that very person that killed my brother for his relic but I had stopped the person in time from getting it. My brothers last wish was for me to have this relic and brought me into this world that I knew nothing of. The only person I could trust was my brothers closest friend and partner or so they said....no one could be trusted but at the same time I didn't have a choice if I wanted defense for myself and the task my brother had given to me.
