The count looked at her and sniffed the air and eyes widened slightly "I must go now " said and rushed off and skidded to a stop in Jared room. He came to a stop and looked at the wound slowly and thinks, he had seen worse but the infection was deep and he needed a Phoenix tear which was very very rare to even find or get, there was another option but he refused to go that way.

"I think she'll make it but it will take a while to heal." He said slowly. Jackie looked at them "don't lie count ...I'm not going to make it the infection spread to far" she rasped. The count clenched his fist and hissed "no you'll be fine I just need a momment to think" he said frantic. Jacklan touched his cheek and looked at him with deep green eyes "it's alright count, it's alright" she promised gently. The count grit his teeth and he refused to let her die here "I need a damn Phoenix tear" he hissed

Jared growled, "It's not alright, Jackie!"

He dropped her hand, feel anger swell in him and didn't want to hurt her. He turned and punched his wall, when the count mentioned a Phoenix tear. His hand went through the plaster. He knew how rare the stupid tear was. If that was what Alucard wanted... that meant that there was no other way of helping her. He growled again, starting to pace. Stupid. He was stupid. An idiot, he should have protected her. Now she was going to die because he couldn't do his job. He punched the wall again as he cursed, creating another hole.

The count blinked "wait...jacklan where where you born?" He asked . The witch blinked "near the lysroi sea" she said the count jumped up and grabbed her "we will be back at night" he shot our from the place and ran into the forest at the speed of light, the sea was known to do magical things the count lived ona. Prayer that it could heal her.

Later that night

The count returned to the palace, his eyes heavy and eyes sharp. He was greeted by the maids demanding where Jacklan was. He just looked at them and walked past them. The maids started wailing and crying. On the other hand whee Jared was he would feel a tap on his shoulder and arms wrap around him "I missed you furball" she giggled, it was jacklan and sounded the same old Jackie

Jared sat in the lounge, facing away from the entrance. He hadn't gotten any sleep the night before, and although he hadn't intended to, he drifted to sleep. He was awoken by a tap on his shoulder. He was slow as he tried to get his baring. Turning, he saw Jacklan as she smiled and stated that she missed him. He jumped to his feet and practically jumped over to the couch to wrap his arms around her. He easily lifted her off her feet as he hugged her tightly. He put her back down and hesitated a moment before he turned up her chin and kissed her deeply. When he pulled away, he looked at her a little worried about how she would react. He released her and cleared his throat, "Don't try and die on me again, will ya?"

Skye walked to the entrance when she heard a commotion. She saw the count and the maids, who seemed to be crying happily. Skye looked at him, "She's okay?"

The witch yelped and giggled gently. She was surprised when he kissed her but smiling she kissed him back deeply "as long as you don't get yourself into trouble pup" bopped his nose and laughed gently.

The count smirks "good as new looks like Jared is as well"

Jared chuckled and wrapped his arms around her again, happy to know that she was okay with what he just did. He smirked, "I don't know... I'm stupid, remember, I'm not sure I'd be able to keep myself out of it."

He buried his face in the crook of her neck and just stood there holding her and, on a creepier level, smelling her. He kissed her shoulder and spoke into her neck, "Next time you try and off yourself though. Don't do it while you're in heat, you're already driving me crazy enough," He teased.

He removed himself from her neck and rested against the couch behind him. He yawned, "Okay... I need to get some sleep... I barely slept since you got hurt... I blame you." Again he placed his head on her shoulder, however, he closed his eyes this time, resting there, "How'd he do it?"

Skye looked at them then at the count, "They're dating? Oh.. I didn't know that..."

She blinked and looked at him "I am not in heat you dog" she muses and messed up his hair thinking "well count took me to the sea of magical ability and pretty much threw me in as my heart started to stop. It healed my heart and would and wound ." She explained and then smirks and moved letting the werewolf drop to the floor and smiles "now you excuse me I have to get some sleep" she muses and walked off, but in the wrong direction, toward Jared room and whistled walking inside and locked him out of his own room and looked through his stuff and found a picture of her and some diary entries and grinned slightly reading them.

The count looked over and nodded his head slowly "yes they are dating...it seems"

Jared chuckled, "You were," He listened to her as she spoke, explaining what had happened when the count took her away from the castle. A moment later, he hit the ground. He groaned, he hadn't expected her to move and had almost fallen asleep standing there. He sat up and rubbed his head as she walked out of the room and down the wrong hall. When he heard her whistle, he jumped to his feet and chased after her. He tried to open his door to find that he locked her. He groaned again and rested his head against the door, "Are you planning on sleeping in my bed again?" he called through the door, "Mind if I join? I'm tired... Or are you going to make me beg you to let me in?"

Skye nodded back to him and smiled, "You don't seem surprised."

The witch was reading his diary out loud near the door "and the way that the sun gathers on her hair makes me want her all the more. Her skin and features such as her curves cause me to go off into my room and try not to think about her. Oh my heart ache for this witch the love of me life" she smirks at the page "that was strangely nice" she muses and opened the door flipping onto the bed and smiled. Her cat came in and lays on Jared pillow and hisses at him.not incontinent him to sleep on it. The witch picked the kitten up and pets its head.

The count laughs "of they have been great friends "

Jared froze slightly when he heard her reading something aloud. He chuckled a little, "Thanks..." When she opened the door, he went to grab her but she had already jumped onto his bed. He looked at the cat as it jumped onto his bed then onto his pillow. He growled at it as he hissed him. He looked to Jacklan, "Can't he sleep in your room or something?"

He flopped onto the bed and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close to him, "You have to admit," he said as he held her, "I'm a pretty great writer."

He kissed her neck, then looked at his pillow, "God dammit. All that time trying to keep hair out of my room... and this hair isn't even mine!" He glared at the cat. They weren't close. He sighed, "Tomorrow is a full moon... I'll be in the basement... Are you going to sleep here tonight?"

Skye smiled, "Cute..." She twiddled her thumbs, "Want to go to the art room?" She asked.

She giggled as he flopped on the bed pulling her close kissing him deeply "your pretty good I must say" smiles gently. She kissed his nose teasingly "sorry but he doesn't like being left out" muses petting the kitten that pureed gently. She laughed gently "I'll be in my room.tommorow " said

The Count nodded his head "alright"

Jared gave her a smile when she said she'd be staying with him. He kissed her cheek, "Fine... The cat can stay, but," He picked him up by the scruff and placed him on the ground, "He doesn't get to sleep on the bed."

He yawned again before kissing her once more, "I'd suggest we do more than sleep... But... I far to tired to do anything beside sleep...." He rolled onto his back and held her close as he closed his eyes. It was about time he got some sleep.

Skye walked with her, she supposed, father to the art room. Already, it was filled with different paintings and drawings. She took to not drawing anyone from in the house hold. There were even a couple sculptures that she had made. She grabbed her painting apron, that was covered. She walked over to one of her sculptures that was half painted. She smiled at Alucard, "Are you okay? After the hunters were here...."

Jacklan nodded her head falling asleep next to him smiling happily eyes closed eyes glowing gently. Her cat came up middle of the night sleeping on his chest purring gently.

Alucard fallowed looking around "woe these are amazing" he smiles gently. He sat up slowly looking at the ground "oh I'm fine just a bit uneasy "

Skye smiled when Alucard commented on her paintings, "Thank you," She said with a smile, "I'm not used to having so much time with paints... Normally, I only get a small portion of time before I get kicked out or they get taken away from one reason or another... It is different to have them whenever I want."

She looked up from the sculpture she was painting and put down her brush, "I think you are a bit more than uneasy," She pursed her lips, "Starting with the fact that you didn't meet my eyes when you said that... Ending with, people are never just uneasy about other people trying to kill them," She thought about it a moment before she hopped off her stool and grabbed his hand, "Come along."

She dragged him out of the art room and out the front door. Releasing his hand, she walked a little ways into the yard before she laid down and looked at the stars. She patted the ground beside her, "Join me."

When he did, she sighed, "I used to do this whenever I got worried as a kid... I was scared someone mad at me... that someone was going to get rid of me.... or whatever reason I had... I didn't really get to do much stargazing at the orphanage... so it was always a bit of a treat... and it was quite calming... Maybe it will help take your mind off your troubles."

The count flopped looking at the stars "in 600 years they haven't changed not once but the world has" smiles gently looking at the star blinking eyes closed slowly.

Jacklan slowly opens her eyes in the morning to find the kitten sleeping on the werewolves fa e peaceful and laughed gently.

Skye smiled, "That's comforting to know," she hadn't planned on it but at some point in lying out there. She fell asleep.

She woke up to the sun on her face and looked at Alucard who lay next to her. She laughed a little and shook him awake, "It looks like we fell asleep."

Jared woke slowly to the sound of Jacklan's giggle but allowed his eyes to remain closed. He smiled, happy to hear it, happy to know she didn't regret her decision to sleep in his bed. He noticed a weight on his chest, neck and chin. Opening his eyes he saw the fur of her cat. He growled and picked it up off of him, putting back on the ground, "Stupid cat..."

He looked at Jacklan and pulled her into a kiss. He grinned at her, "Good morning."

Alucard was asleep in the sun peacefully his eyes closed sun shining on his pale skin. He had a smile on his face.

The kitten growled and jumps back up on the bed and sat on the werewolf head mewing jumping over to Jacklan pillow and stayed there ears flat making a aggressive vocal growls. Jacklan kissed him back warmly smiling gently

Skye looked at Alucard as he slept still. She moved closer and rested her head on the man's chest. She never got the chance to snuggle with parents. She learnt to cry without a shoulder. There was so much in her life that she had gone through alone, it was strange to feel for once that she was not. Even if it was with a household of misfits. She smiled softly and closed her eyes again.

Jared propped himself up and growled back at the cat, "My room. My rules, go sleep on someone else's bed."

He looked down at Jacklan, who was now slightly tucked under him. He smiled a pushed away a strand of hair before kissing her again. When their lips parted, he smirked, "Why didn't I kiss you sooner?"

The count slept peacefully hand rubbed the girls back opening his eyes. He woke up and blinked gently.

Jacklan smiles kissing him gently "mmm because you didn't want to kiss me while I was in feat"

Skye relaxed entirely as the count rubbed her back as they lay there. This was a new development. She didn't know people did that and she surely didn't know how nice it felt. She let out a relaxed sigh and kept her eyes closed. She was scared that if she opened them, she'd fine this place all to be a dream...

Jared laughed and nodded, "Yes... that have been quite difficult. Hard enough keeping calm knowing you're in hear... add that I can kiss you.... things would have.... I'm not sure I would have managed it," He kissed her neck, "I wouldn't be able to hold myself back."
