hawking nodded and saw what Dante was getting at. "Yes, something like that would cause a few problems. The water might have gotten into her body, but it wasn't by mouth and it since it was a wound, her powers would still act up."

He sighed and said "I never had a chance...we had to split up right after that...this is the first I've seen her since then...she wrote to me about the attacks until she was taken the navy..." He looked at him and asked "What do we do?"

"If her powers did start to act up after being in the water, then all of the malfunctions would have stopped by now. I think thy her subconscious might have set up a defense mechanism to where her powers would protect her if she were to ever be hurt by an outside force. Because she was shot with lightning earlier, that might explain why nothing happened back then..." He said to both himself and Dante.

Dante nodded and said "The shock restarted her powers...and when the attack hit again...her powers went over board" He sighed and said "Then all this is pointless."

Hawking was looking around the open waters just as he finished speaking, and snapped his head to look at Dante as soon as he said it was pointless. "If you even think about not going with the operation, or giving up, I'll throw you off this ship and hunt for a doctor that will do it!" He barked at the man.

Dante said "there's nothing to open up and find hawking! I can't find water!" They heard a voice say "I've seen you do harder things Dante..." Scarlet walked out, tossing both men canteens. "There has to be a way to help her...we just need to figure out how. She risked herself to get us this far...we can't let her..Guys, I see a ship" they all turned to see a medium sized ship not far off, with a skull and crossbones on the sail....with a hat on the skull.

As soon as he saw it, Hawking knew exactly who the flag belonged to. He knew about the bigger named pirates out in the ocean, and the straw hat pirates were pretty big. He didn't know what to say or do, since meeting another pirate crew was completely new to him. He wasn't sure if they were going to raid their ship, or just move along calmly. "I think we should see if they can help." Hawking said somewhat quietly.

Dante nodded and said "If they have a doctor on board...we might get..." Suddenly the boat turned and was hit hard with something causing the ship to over turn. Scarlet grabbed the mast and said "If anyone has a way to call them, do it! Cause if we get hit again, the ship is going down" Dante grabbed Wolf and picked her up, keeping her from the water. "These waters are known for serpents....big ones..."

"I've got nothing!" Hawking called out as he looked around for a way to contact the other ship. "We just need to hope that their first mate can see us sinking.." He said as he looked down at the ground with a frown on his face.

Wolf opened her eyes weakly and said "I got this..." Dante said "Boss, no. Your too weak..." She looked at him and said "Got a better idea?" She sighed and brought her hand up, her eyes glowing blue. The water started to move around them and suddenly a huge water blast shot up into the air, then another and another. Dante said "Boss, stop, your going to burn out" Wolf was panting, then said "They can't....miss...this..."

"Mags stop! I think they know that we're here." Hawking said to wolf as he looked at her and held a hand up, glancing back at the other ship to see that it was slowly making its way over to them.

Wolf lowered her hand, sweat pouring down her face as Dante set her down and checked her pulse. "Boss...hang in there...come on..." Scarlet looked up at the ship and said "I hope this was a good idea...I've heard stories about these guys..."

Hawking nodded at scarlet and kept his eyes on the ship as it moved closer. "From what I've heard, the straw hat pirates are... Interesting, to say the least. Let's just hope that they can help us."

Dante set Wolf on her feet, holding her up as the ship pulled up next to them. Dante looked her over and asked "How you holding up boss?" She smiled weakly and said "Peachy..." Scarlet climbed up the mast and called out "Um...hello? If you would be so kind and throw some..." Suddenly the serpent jumped from the water and jumped at the small boat, right at Scarlet. Wolf yelled "No!" She threw up her hands and her eyes glowed yellow. The wind around them gathered up and became huge bird shaped wind, flying into the serpent and knocking it off course. Scarlet jumped out of the way and Wolf fell backward, her legs buckling.

Hawking quickly went to make sure that Scarlet was okay, as Wolf had Dante at the moment and Scarlet still had the risk of losing her balance while still in motion. After seeing her fully regain her footing, Hawking calmed down to some extent and climbed up the mast like Scarlet just did. "We have a severely injured person right now and all we need is a little help and a ride. Could the infamous Straw Hat Pirate do this for us? I could supply some info on the navy if you'd like." He was trying to increase their chances of having the pirates allow them to climb aboard, and Hawking was prepared to let loos every bit of information on the Navy just for that to happen.

Dante caught Wolf and checked her over and looked up. "Hawking, hurry. Wolf passed out again, I'm not sure how much more of this she can take..." Suddenly ropes were thrown over the side of the ship and a man's voice said "Come on abroad. But please place your weapons on the deck when you get up here" Scarlet sighed and said "Easy enough, we don't have any weapons..."

Hawking was the first to climb up the rope, and soon after he did so, he turned back around to face Dante and the others, holding out his hand to them. "Hand me Maggs. I'll pull her up so you can get up as well." He extended his arms out as far as they would so, just so that he would be able to reach her. He knew that Scarlet would be able to get up on her own, so he was focused on getting Wolf.

Dante and Scarlet handed Wolf to Hawking, who was starting to look worse. Scarlet jumped up after, then helped Dante up. When they sat on the deck, Dante moved over to Wolf and checked her again. "She's going to have another attack if we don't do something..." Scarlet hit Dante and said "That can wait, Doc..." He turned to see the Strawhat crew staring at them, weapons pointed at them. "Oh...right..." Then a child like voice said "Guys, relax. One of them is hurt" Then a small reindeer like ran out and knelt down by Wolf. "What is going on with her?"

Hawking picked up Wolf and held her in his arms to keep her from falling. When Dante got onto the ship, he handed her to him so that he could check her. He looked at her nervously before Scarlet hit Dante. He then looked at the Straw Hat crew and all of their weapons. He could see swords, a slingshot, a purple cane, a being that had shoulders and arms larger than his body, and three people without weapons, two of which were women. Hawking fought the urge to get into a defensive stance and simply stood there as a small reindeer walked up and examined Wolf. "It's a long story. She's a devil fruit user like herself, but something is seriously wrong. Her powers act subconsciously in times of fatal danger, and there are internal attacks on her body."

The reindeer nodded, listening to her heart. Then he looked up and said "I'm Chopper. Lets get her down to the med room..." She looked at the others and said "Guys, really?" One of the women walked up, short orange hair holding a boa staff. "Sorry about all of this...the crew is a little jumpy. I'm Nami. I'm the navigator. You've met Chopper our doctor. Chopper, you can take her to my and Robin's room. Zoro? Franky? Why don't you help Chopper get her down below deck" Scarlet looked nerves, swallowing slowly
