Pokemon RP

I was wondering if anyone wanted to do a pokemon RP.
This plot would take place in a separate universe, and be just a tad bit edgier than your typical pokemon fare. Guns exist, pokemon prey on each other (and on humans as well), Team Rocket is actually extremely dangerous, that sort of thing.
I might also find a way to include pokemorph's, too because they're cool.

How does this sound to everyone?

Why do so many people like using guns in Pokemon RPs? When you control creatures that breathe fire, have Psychic powers, can freeze people, shoot lightning out of their arse, etc. What good are puny metal bullets going to do? >_>

It would be pretty cool to do something like this. I have a couple gijinka pokemon characters myself that would be fun to use in this.

Meh, I still prefer using Pokemon. But that's just me.

Sure, as long as it doesn't go to the stupiddark end of the spectrum that tends to happen when pokemon gets a "realistic" and "edgy" treatment, throwing away logic in favour of making things even darker.

There's a reason why I put 'slightly' as a modifier. To explain the tone I'm going for, this is like what Twilight Princess is to the Zelda. Or what a modern cinematic remake is to a silver age comic.

I am to a degree interested, I noticed a few others are interested in using Gijinkas. I am wondering how far your spectrum for Gijinkas and such go.
