EDIT: "Delayed" isn't the right word, is it? Since it's not like you have a deadline you can be delayed past... Eh, if a week passes since the last post in the relevant branch.

By the way, the link to the compendium in the OP seems broken. Thought I'd point it out because I at least wasn't able to rely on it when looking for some memory refreshers.

I'm aware (and so is Jack); at this point it's mostly just me having been a bit overwhelmed (with mainly people-related things) these past two months or so, to the point where I don't often even get to logging into my actual work machines, let alone deal with finding up a new suitable host for the Compendium.
It'll be fixed sometime in the nearer future^(TM). (I actually rolled it up on a laptop of mine a while ago, to see whether I lost anything notable from last database backup to when some BS with the last host unexpectedly ate the site, but it being restored on my laptop doesn't really help much).

Meanwhile, I'll freely provide any required articles (Skype/here).

Yo Jack, can you explain to me again how binding circles work in this setting?

Binding circles are a kind of rune magic that targets either a certain species of being or a specific being altogether, depending on the exact runes used in making it. The being that is to be bound needs to be within the circle, obviously, and the binding circle is only effective for as long as someone is supplying it with a continuous flow of magical energy to fuel it. Anyone caught in an active binding circle that is targeting them has their ability to use magic drastically reduced, often to the point of removing it entirely, as well as physically weakening the target and preventing them from leaving the circle for as long as it remains active. The more reliant one is on magical energy, the more one is affected by the circle, so generally beings primarily composed of magical energy, such as undead and immortals, are extremely susceptible to them. The stronger an entity one is trying to bind, however, the more energy the circle is going to require in order to bind it.

I'm guessing @Mercinus3, to answer the sisters' response? I would post for Morgan, but it'll just be a "and he left the inn to find a place to resume his interrupted nap." Waiting for something more substantial to respond to, as Morgan is pretty tired. xD

In that case I figure it's probably (and regrettably) time for a fast-forward to next morning once Merc has posted... as little as I wanted them to progress that far ahead in time compared to the other groups. I honestly don't even know exactly what to do with Ixion, I'on and Morgan the next day, since they obviously need to have something to do, yet also need to be ready to meet up with the main group... which has been held up for way too long. Eh, I'll think of something. Maybe your characters will solve the problem by deciding on something to do themselves.

Yeah... That is bad, considering we were supposed to meet up "this" evening... And we can't really make any paradoxes, either. Hrmh.

Edit: Jack next on the Companions' side, then I/Nessa? Aemoten's still quite severely weakened, and Dom's unarmored, almost unarmed, and fairly lacking in any kind of actual combat experience ... which mostly leaves Etakar (also slightly injured) free to act to his full capacity. Thaler might have to yet do some more saving the day...

I don't really think that anything has come up for the sisters to react to (aside from Ixion deciding to call it a night) in any meaningful way, so the only thing I could really do in that scene currently would be to perform the fast-forward... which I still would prefer avoiding (not that there's much point in maintaining the current time, given that all the characters are going to sleep and consequently will be somewhat awkward for the main group to encounter). You can go ahead with Morgan if you have anything to post.
