Definitely, 10 descent posts is easy. 100, that would be hard... This whole process of Venom going nuts isn't going to be immediate, not like in Spider-man 3, where it's "Here, Boom-evil, gone." It'll be gradual... Probably come in on Spidey's 3rd-4th arc, then spend the next 2-3 arcs seemingly being an upgrade on Spidey, with him possibly showing the prelude of what's to come, gradually growing more mentally unstable, until the Venom arc actually starts, with Peter coming to terms with the fact that the symbiote is just too much power for him to control, which is when he removes the symbiote from the picture, much to its chagrin.

I want there to be a good couple of arcs of it being merely a tool for Spider-Man to use, showing that he, very much, loves the power it provides. People forget that, when peter first received it, during the Secret Wars, the symbiote wasn't evil. Far from it, the symbiote was a power boost to Peter, that most people found cool, including Peter himself. I would want there to be a part of this where the Symbiote was pretty much that, a welcome upgrade for Spider-man.

Lol yeah. I've got 80 full notebook-sized pages so far on notes for my (potential) characters and future plots, and a Venom at this stage - especially one as you described - wouldn't fit.

It sounds to me, Matt, that you more or less want to control parts of Spidey and his development. Just apply for Spidey, then.

Nope... No interest in playing Spidey. I just want to make a good story... In fact, until you pointed out the fact, that i would need Spider-man to begin Venom, i was actually not really thinking about using Spidey, i was actually thinking of introducing him using a combination of his Standard and Ultimate backstories (Saying that he is an Alien parasite, that was found by Oscorp and experimented on, when it got free and found a sample of Spider-Man's DNA that they were working on, then having him absorb it to become the big alien sludge monster we all know and love.) And I didn't know you guys had planned in advance, especially 80 full pages. I just thought of a way that might introduce a beloved character, that would be different, yet familiar. This is exactly why i didn't put a full CS for him, because i was wondering if anyone was up for it. If not, then i would rather know now, than after i have written out a full cs and started making plans.

Alright, so, since Venom is out of the question, someone said we still need a properly powerful character, i was thinking of maybe introducing Hulk, Thor or Iron-Man to fit these roles, which of these would be best, does everyone think?

If I make it as Spider-Man, I would be interested in that idea, but not quite at the start. So you'd have to wait on it a while.

Which is why i put "come in after 3-4 arcs... Although, that time can easily be extended. I would prefer it to happen after the status quo for Spidey is set.

I remember your attempts at making an Iron Man/Green Goblin-influenced character in an old X-Men/Marvel RP. You certainly seemed to like the overly-armored approach back then, even if most of your work was rejected.

I have grown in the two years it has been since that RP... Back then, i was a shithead that had big idea's and was determined to force others to let them happen. Now, i am a shithead that has big idea's and is determined to make them happen, but not at the expense of other peoples enjoyment.

Then, I'd be interested in seeing an Iron Man app from you. Curious if you'd continue with the heavily-armored approach or not. Though, don't let my thoughts and opinions sway you.

In other news, I should have access to a computer and not this PS3 within the next four or five hours; at which time I'll start transferring my CS from paper to here.

Well, since i'm not particularly fussed on who i bring in as a big gun, and there is now others interested in Iron Man, i suppose i'll go Hulk. I've never really played Hulk before, so this could be fun.

All of this is funny cause I told Drew that I wanted to play Venom to whoever was Spider-Man. Though I had two ideas, one of them involving the symbiote never having touched Peter's hands and possibly involving the 616 version of Miles Morales in one of the ideas.

Though my other idea more so involved Flash Thompson.

I shall wait on those till I see who is Spider-Man and can have an actual conversation.

For now, I await Henry's reply so I get started on Winter Solider. </3.

Well this is awkward....

I actually started writing up a CS redo on the Hulk that shifts him from a Primary to a (possibly) Secondary character.

Basically, I'm planning a "What If...?" set-up where instead of Banner becoming the Hulk, Betty becomes the She-Hulk through the same gamma incident as Bruce. Assuming that's an OK move in this Universes context?
