Yep, comes in handy for sure during those times when you're locked in dialogue with another player, and you don't want to post back and forth a hundred times to fill out an entire scene.

Since Zeltrons have a certain degree of telepathy and can read emotions, etc, maybe she is being used by an organization (whether criminal or otherwise), to help them in negotiations, disputes, etc. Or, they send her in to persuade a target to join their cause. I mean you don't have to go with anything too stereotypical (i.e. a sexual predator who likes to party all the time), but try to find some use for her racial skills that aren't too over the top.

As for a shared backstory, my character has spent some time on the seedier planets, generally in between jobs as a merc (since Imperial Intelligent was more or less defunct) so perhaps our characters crossed paths a few times on [insert planet here].

Anyway, let me know if interested and we can go from there.

Almost out of pressy's tumble, but it is considerably slowing down now seeing the posts made. Any constructive criticism for the story so far?

I'm liking the story so far, but I suppose lag is going to happen regardless. Sometimes we all find ourselves ready to post two or three times a day, and others, we can't post for several days because life is an ugly bitch :)

Either way, the story is fine, and hopefully we can move on to the next stage soon because I think things may be a bit stagnant.

Hey guys, just giving you all a quick heads up to let you know that i'm still around. As Rawk so eloquently put it, life can be a bit of a bitch and has kept me a bit busier as of late since a combination of spring courses being long over and my general desire to both continue classes come august and not to subsist on bowls of ice cubes and water ("Struggle Flakes" we call 'em) has seen me working more frequently. I apologize for my absence and thank you all for your patience.

As far as the story goes, i'm rather satisfied with how it's currently going.

I love how Marka as a character is turning out to be one huge joke

@Azazaa The sad thing is that i'm not even doing it to be mean spirited. It's just that since we never had anything to go on personality wise due to a lack of posts on Matt's part I had to gleam what I could from the character's bio. All I really came back with was Marka hating the empire, having a thing for "hotdog antics" which I assume means daring and/or funny, disliking murder, and being an adrenaline junkie, so I decided to key in on the hotdog antic bit. In other words, a somewhat goofy but talented daredevil type. Scribbling little notes and titles as a personal touch to the section of the ship that was "his" sort of felt appropriate.
