Thoughts I've had about where we're headed:

-With the True Sith firmly entrenched in Known Space, there have to be Masters pulling the strings. I dare say that we would need to come up with a couple of them that the others report to(the holorecordings would go to the Masters, who would visit the Sith homeworld every so often to review progress. Why choose this method? They're being ultra cautious so that no one could pick up on their communications, not even Force sensitives, who could feel and/or hear them communicating through the Force).

-There would have to be a series of events that lead up to a total Force vs. Non-Force war, most of which were put into place by the breaking of the Treaty of Coruscant. With the Empire and Republic destablized so much already by having to defeat the Hutt Cartel AND with the Emperor dead, there might be some in both camps that feel consolidation might be in order. This would be an interesting twist on Knights of the Fallen Empire, seeing as in the official expansion, Republic and Empire forces come together to fight the Eternal Empire. In this case, the Republic and the Empire would join forces to squash all Force Users out of existence. I assume the True Sith would instigate a number of conflicts started by Force Users, including, potentially:
-The Dark Council turning on themselves (reasoning unknown as of yet)
-The Jedi Council divided due to differing opinions on how to have proper relations with the Republic
-Exploitation of wandering Jedi/Sith who want to fight for a new cause
-Deception of younger Jedi/Sith who can be persuaded to lash out against a society that "oppresses" them("How dare they limit your power!"

-I would think that Yerbol and Aria would return to find the Council divided due to Republic and Empire officials hosting "peace talks" without them. Maybe the True Sith planted on Tython would begin to stir up rebellion and talk of overthrowing the Masters. This would spur Yerbol and Aria to try and unveil the True Sith, only to be foiled by knowledge that the Jedi Masters would be placing the entire planet on an enforced lockdown of sorts in order to discourage students from leaving. Essentially what would we have is a miniature Jedi civil war, with the True Sith Master leading a continent against the Jedi Masters. Yerbol would want to side with the Masters, but probably would see the big picture and try to get off world in order to expose the True Sith's plot to the convened Empire and Republic forces.

-From there, we could have them sneak onto the planet the meeting is being held only for the duo to be captured and held up as examples of why Force users need to be "systematically eliminated", seeing as they would be framed for trying to assassinate the officials gathered. The duo would break free and then might need to check up on Aria's Dad on Korriban.

That's what I've got so far...thoughts?

-I was actually toying with the possibility of this Bracknell Sith Lord dude we'd kinda had as a WIP background character being one of the True Sith's plants on Korriban, perhaps he somehow has quite an influencial role in the Senate as well and is one of the main driving forces of their attempt to de-stablize the governments? Turning young Sith initiates more towards the True Sith's goals and secretly amassing a kind of secret task force to work for him against the current Sith Order to further destablize it and screw with the Republic's view on Force sensitives by setting them 'missions' to gain prestige where they would have to assassinate (or even just fear-monger) with various high influence Republic personell?

-I haven't gotten as far as Knights of the Fallen Empire yet (STILL stuck on Tython lmao) but the idea of the remaining Republic/Empire sympathisers left having to band together to help each other to defeat the new threat sounds AWESOME! O: I could see conflicts breaking out in the Dark Council naturally anyways due to the "kill-or-be-killed" and "every man for himself" mantras taught by the Sith Order as is (particularly I don't see Aria's dad liking Bracknell, AT ALL xD Perhaps they could have some kind of rivalry thing going on starting from when they first initiated into the Sith Order that gradually builds until the conflict actually pulls the Dark Council apart between Bracknell supporters (who end up siding with the True Sith's viewpoints) vs. Aria's dad's supporters (who are more in line with the "current" Sith beliefs?)

-LOVING the idea about Aria and Yerbol being imprisoned on Tython (or whichever other planet we're gonna hold the meeting on lol) for a while and having to escape to go and get Aria's dad (or, alternatively, (though I'd have to figure out a plausible reason since he's kinda an asshole and he probably wouldn't really do it just to protect her XD) perhaps her dad could somehow find out that they're imprisoned and potentially could get himself across there to help break them out somehow? IDK that's kinda a spur of the moment idea I had but it could be interesting if we could pull it off lol)

-Done. Done, done and done. OH, maybe Aria and Yerbol can intercept a segment of that Task Force sent to the peace talks. They can get mistaken as a part of the task force and branded as criminals along with them? That way Bracknell sacrifices a small part of his task force in order to, you know, overthrow the entire Jedi/Sith spectrum xD

-And wow, yeah, that would work for the second part. Once Yerbol and Aria free themselves(and probably get some info from Bracknell's yuppies), they can visit Korriban in an attempt to see what has become of Aria's father. They can hit Korriban, find Aria's father maybe and then...well, I think a major choice would happen. With both Empire and Jedi at each other's throats, I think that Yerbol would want to save as many as he could that wanted to get away from the carnage. This might be a good point in the story for the duo to start rescue missions from both Tython and Korriban. How would Aria feel? Essentially everything they both knew is imploding, so no choice would be easy xD

-And yeah, maybe instead of Yerbol and Aria breaking out themselves, Aria's father springs them...that might work.

-Oohh, all the yes for this one, I like it! =3

-That's gonna be such a huge dramatic part aaaahh! Potentially some pretty good character building/conflict between Aria and Yerbol there too since Yerbol would want to be the one to help everyone wheras Aria might be more inclined to have a "I just wanna get my dad and a couple other people and get the hell outta here before we all die!" I could see some potential arguments or somesuch breaking out that they would eventually have to compromise/resolve together

-TINY plothole however being how he would manage to do that without the Jedi Masters noticing a Sith Lord's Force presence in their midst? XD Unless we assume that they DO locate it and go for an epic chase/fleeing scene kind of scenario I guess...thoughts? xP

-Oh man, yeah. I can see heated arguments emerging from all this. It'll be the first time since the two were forced together that they can actually choose whether or not they want to STAY together willingly.

-Oh right, yeah, that would be a problem xD. Uh...well, yeah, it might make more sense for Aria's dad to try and maintain order on Korriban while Aria and Yerbol make their escape. That way Aria can reach out to her Dad and he can direct them to a safe place to land, etc.

Anyway, I'm headed off for the evening. Looking forward to reading your post/creating quite possibly one of the most epic Star Wars alternative universes ever :)

Alright, here we go *cracks knuckles*

So Yerbol and Aria get offworld, rescue an assortment of Jedi and Sith, then manage to get to a hideout. I assume it would be Wild Space? That might be too close to the Sith homeworld, but you get the point, somewhere remote where the Sith couldn't find them. I feel like it wouldn't take much effort to unite this band of Jedi and Sith together, seeing as they have one common enemy. I'm assuming there would be some dust-ups here and there, but nothing that couldn't be sorted out. This alliance would recruit and grow, building up a sizable resistance against the True Sith, who would be murdering every Force User in sight with the combined efforts of the Republic and Sith.
I assume some within the Republic and Empire would disagree with mass genocide and join the resistance, which would lead to an eventual standoff between the resistance and the True Sith. Bracknell and co. are dispatched, schemes exposed and everyone duped feels like an idiot.

HOWEVER

The motivating force behind the True Sith, the one pulling the strings, is still alive. He communicates with Yerbol and Aria, summoning them to a remote moon in Wild Space where he attempts to reason with them. His premise is that the Force has been pulled apart by the division of light and dark. As the only remaining True Sith Master alive, he has perfected the ultimate balance between the two halves, effectively giving him true mastery of the Force. However, with repeated collapses of both Jedi and Sith orders, he felt drastic action needed to be taken. By the simple act of eliminating Force users, he argues, the Force becomes unbalanced, to the point where it cannot sustain even itself. Although he is fully aware that "killing" the Force through genocide was a dramatic move, it felt it was necessary. However, Yerbol and Aria's efforts caught his attention; after all, they were the ONLY two to pass the trials successfully in almost a thousand years. They have the potential to begin balancing the Force, to give true enlightenment to all those given the gift of the Force. He offers to train them in the most rudimentary of concepts before sending them back with the teachings he has assembled. IF Yerbol and Aria agreed, they would train under him for a short period of time and go back to known space, only to be promptly rejected by both Jedi and Sith Masters, who are already beginning to descend into infighting. A small contingent of younger Jedi and Sith who fought alongside the duo seem intrigued and are willing to learn. This brands Yerbol and Aria as heretics who are not welcome on either planet nor by the Republic and the Empire, who are beginning to consolidate their assets to merge into a powerful sociopolitical force.

With the massive changes underway in the galaxy, other systems were bound to take notice. Fleets of unknown origin begin to probe the very edges of known space before zipping back into hyperspace. No one can figure out where these fleets came from, but their increasing appearances are making the newly founded government very, very nervous.

So, what do you think?

Ohoho, I like this idea, wow O_o very nice, totally not what I was expecting, but in a good way xD I'm all for this one! I think somewhere out in Wild Space sounds good, since they'd be trying to avoid detection. And after all, there's bound to be other planets besides the True Sith homeworld, right? xD Maybe even just a small and remote moon somewhere lol

So these new fleets would come from a totally different system not under the control of the Republic or Empire (or whatever they decide to rename it to when they band together, maybe the New Empire or some other amalgamation of the two current ones' names? idk xD)? Perhaps an off-shoot of the Rakatan society from that beachy planet whose name escapes me? xD Then they could be slightly more technologically advanced than our newly founded government, not necessarily with technology that feeds on the Force like the Forge did per se (because that proooobably wouldn't work if Ari and Bol previously would have destabilised/re-shaped the Force to help True Sith guy (whose name I'm sure you mentioned before but I also cannot remember atm for the life of me xD)

and would Aria and Yerbol and their new followers kind of leave this new government to it and sort of 'lurk & watch', waiting for instructions from Sith boss man or would they be actively trying to help or hinder said government officials? Perhaps the government, despite not being keen on their whole movement, would be forced to actively seek them out and ask for their help in pinpointing the origins of these strange new fleets?

Or is that getting too far ahead of ourselves for the time being? lol

Oh yeah, there are. I just have NO idea. We're going into very uncharted space in more than one sense of the word, so it's our playground to do with as we see fit. We'll come up with something cause we're smart like that.

Ooohhh, that sounds intriguing. I'm sure the Rakatan would have at least taken notice of the galaxy reshaping itself and want to figure out what on earth is going on. I wouldn't mind if it wasn't just Rakatan...maybe a mixture of races that follow the Rakatan ideologies? Which I know is fragmented enough, but maybe a combination of both major ideologies? (Which, if I remember quickly, was either "kill everyone!" or "chillll, bruh.")

I DID mention his name and brief character history, but I don't remember anything I wrote. Will retrieve it from OOC and post it here!

Interesting...so Yerbol and Aria get somewhat of an order going, train, get better and then out of desperation because Jedi and Sith don't want to get involved in governments again(understandably so xD), they turn to this new "Grey Force User" order...by the way, we'll have come up with a name for what they come up with. True Sith was a good start, but I feel like they'll be representing something totally new, which means a new title.

Also, we both agreed that Yerbol and Aria would eventually get together romantically right? If so, do you want to plan on when they should start having feelings or let them figure it out as the story progresses? I've done both ways and I find that the second approach tends to work better...feels more organic. But the first way works well too because then the romance won't interfere with certain plot events where it wouldn't make sense.

Ohh, that would be cool if it was a mixture of races yeah, I could totally see them secretly watching what's going on in known space and kind of going '...the heck's going on with those guys now?' 'should we do something?' 'dunno, maybe, I mean...if it doesn't work out we could just kill 'em all again' xD (never heard a more accurate description of the opposing ideologies in my life ;) XD)

Ah yes, we need a nice newfangled and more 'flashy' name for sure! =P Guess we could just call it "Grey Order" for now till we come up with something better? I'll have a think and a search around, maybe we can use some words from some of the canon'd languages to translate some kind of synonym for 'balance' and make a really cool-sounding name for it xD
Should be something that reflects their 'equality and balance' views, I guess?

Yes, I think we did ouo hmm...maybe we can find a middle ground to include a bit of both? Letting it happen as we go is definitely good as far as being more natural, but we definitely need to plan at least SOME of it so it doesn't impede the rest of the plot XD I feel like they've got a pretty good foundation as far as their friendship goes by now at least, so I guess we just see where the natural chemistry goes from there? :P I guess a good place to start would be after they've ditched daddy dearest (because as much as I love Bol, Roan'd probably murder him if he thought the two of them were getting too cosy for his liking while he was around XD); guess it'd just be silly little banter and things like that, that neither of them really think about or notice at first? Or we could do something silly like Ari has a night terror during one of their hyperspace trips and she wakes Bol up cause she's too on edge or riled up about everything to deal with it on her own (plus I imagine it'd be kinda hard to hide something like that when you're basically connected to someone else's emotional 'thought train' 24/7, and it could be kinda cute if she's never really had the opportunity to go to someone for comfort with something like that before-Roan would probably just tell her to man up and stop behaving like a frightened child after all and I imagine she just gave up and learned to keep it to herself after a while xD)
Totally just spitballing here so feel free to alter, add or remove anything as you see fit of course ;)

Haha, the Rakata are REALLY unbalanced, which is fun xD

I think what you proposed would work out well. Being vulnerable isn't exactly something either one of them would be comfortable with(obviously Yerbol is more comfortable, but no one LIKES being vulnerable). Sharing insecurities, fears, hopes and all that through breaks in action should help. I'll also assume that training together and helping each other through the breakdown of known civilization will help bind them together. We can plan certain sequences or moments to help push the relationship along...kinda like we've been doing and what we just did with the argument.

Name: Formerly Renso Kator, now known simply as The Master

Background:

Renso was one of the FIRST True Sith masters, a force wielder of unlimited potential who was also charismatic and shrewd, enabling him to form the initial workings of the first Sith council. Renso was fascinated with the Force and studied/experimented as much as he could on himself and his disciples alike, only finding a lack of fulfillment from attempting to push the boundaries of what one could do with the Force. Wars raged between nations and planets alike during this time, the Sith engaging in battles that they felt would be necessary in preserving the "balance of the galaxy". This grew tiresome to Renso, seeing as battles never seemed to end as long as one party knew they could rely on the force wielders for assistance. It was then that he began to think that maybe, just maybe the galaxy would be better off without the Force, that the only way to truly balance the galaxy would be to do the unthinkable: kill the very thing that the Sith have come to rely on.

Awesome, will whack mine up here too then, the few on the end will be the ones they pick up on Korriban XD (I also totally nerded out and picked out Spheres for Roan and Bracknell to be in charge of, don't laugh XD) Ages for Roan and Bracknell are also adjustable if necessary, but figured they should be slightly older than Soto (especially Roan since Ari's supposed to be 19/20-ish around about now and he would have had to be at LEAST 20-ish when she was born XD)

Lord Roan Saal-50(ish, but you know, Sith alchemy and all that cheating makes him LOOK younger XD) year old male. Human. Aria's father, (former) member of the Dark Council. Keeper of the Sphere of Biotic Science. Bracknell's sworn rival (I imagined that they have a bitter and 'hate-each-other's-guts' kind of thing going on haha) Deceased
Lord Varian Bracknell-44 year old male. Human. One of the True Sith Masters, (former) member of the Dark Council. Keeper of the Sphere of Military Offense. One of the spearheads for the True Sith's takeover in the known galaxy, influencial figure in the Galactic Senate and Korriban Academy, Roan's sworn rival.Deceased

Vano Zaa-24 year old female. Mirialan. Senior acolyte/Apprentice (couldn't find a better title for it, since she's not a Master or anything but more skilled and well-tutored than a lot of the acolytes. Kinda like Yuthura Ban, I guess? XD) at the Sith academy, Roan's Padawan/apprentice and one of his more trusted underlings. Has a kind of mothering/older sister thing going on with Aria.

Qanarr Thimu-16 year old female. Cathar. Acolyte/Padawan.Deceased
Takree Vyr-15 year old male. Togruta. Acolyte/Padawan.Deceased
Lord Cheriss Matare-46 year old female. Dathomirian (appearance more human than Zabrak). Also known as Darth Lash (partly for the lightwhip she chooses as her weapon in place of a saber, and partly for her tendency to throw her weight around in order to get her own way XD) (former) member of the Dark Council, Keeper of the Sphere of Laws and Justice. Has a tenuous 'alliance' with Roan, sided with him when he began to suspect Bracknell's loyalties were not to the Dark Council. Hiding out on Coruscant, will eventually join Ari and Bol in Wild Space when contact reaches her. One of the key members of the resistance's Council of Force sensitives, alongside Roan and the other more experienced Masters.
Master Ailel Spar-38 year old female-Human-Along with Matthew, one of the few surviving Jedi Masters after the True Sith's purge. Stationed on Ryloth to help the Jedi fight the Hutt cartel's slavery trade, will join Ari and Bol in Wild Space after recruiting starts. One of the key members of the resistance's Council of Force sensitives, alongside Roan and the other more experienced Masters.

Rhine Keesda-mid to late 20's female, Echani. Twin to Denali, soldier/mercenary. Met Aria, Yerbol and Voldon on Coruscant where Denali was working as a doctor and Rhine was protecting the medcenter where he worked from gang/Xiis attacks.
Featuring Jaime Murray as Rhine

Denali (Nali) Keesda-mid to late 20's male, Echani. Twin to Rhine, (combat) medic/doctor. Met Aria, Yerbol and Voldon on Coruscant when they wandered into his set up medcenter, helped to heal Yerbol after Illesia beat him up.
Featuring Jesse Rath as Nali

will be working on some basic stat/character sheets for some of these guys over the weekend to add them to my below post XD
If it's more organised you can also copy/paste these into your comment to keep them in one place if you want, I don't mind either way ;)

So, this is just another little organisational thing on my part...mostly to keep track of Force powers and/or Lightsaber forms (or else I'd forget which ones she knew/used XD) though I did include other stats like Strength, Linguistics and Dexterity etc. and other random (possibly useful) things like age, height and weight, just for the fun of it.

Essentially a brief stat sheet of sorts, I've only got one done for Ari right now but I can do them quite easily for Vano, Roan and the others if needed and edit this post to add them and keep em together in one place ;) XD If you wanna add some for Bol and Neta or anyone else of course feel free to! :P

Wild Space Planet "Database" (because I'm going to forget what we made them up as otherwise XD I can edit to add/change stuff as we develop them further and/or name them :))

Quensu ---First planet to be ventured to, discovered by Aria and Yerbol, "True Sith" Homeworld/the center of their trials to prove their strength, odd mix of volcanic/lava and forested biomes, notable fauna include pack-hunting ice beasts with mostly humanoid-like features, and a temple guardian in the form of a giant dragon-bat mutant able to create and manipulate the weather.

Zinuthra ---Closest plaanet to Quensu. Sparse moorland and grasses, most notable features being large ranges of mountains that appear to be formed out of crystalline structures. Further exploration required to determine native flora and fauna.

Nuncata ---Small moon orbiting Zinuthra, A terrestrial planet of swamps and tree copses, famous for its 'Whispers' which are said to be the moans of ghosts in the Force that haven't been properly laid to rest...

Chuffon Prime ---A moon that was once a temperate jungle, but after the True Sith began to perform experiments there, global warming changed the ecosystem and it is now almost entirely consumed by glaciers, the site of the original Xiis experimentations and would eventually become the homeworld imposed upon them by Renso and his counterparts.

Alright, so this summit...I believe we decided that the following would occur from this, but feel free to remind me if I've got it wrong:

-The summit is naturally going to start off with bickering, self-righteousness, anger and an overall sense of disunity
-Yerbol and Aria will recount their story, presenting evidence
-More arguing, but eventually members of the summit begin to realize that they'll need each other to combat the True Sith
-It is agreed that some should go to the True Sith homeworld to try and figure out the motivations behind their takeover of the galaxy as well as ways to stop them(Ari and Yerbol are selected to go due to their previous experience there)
-Others stay behind to try and rouse others to their cause. Havoc Squad CO Dorne(who is at the meeting) along with Neta(also there) try to reach out to embedded contacts and scrounge whatever resources they can find.
-Party goes to Sith homeworld and gets back to the final area Yerbol and Aria had explored(the library). They go from there and through some navigating find a data archive room with, among other things, a list of embedded Sith in both Empire and Republic forces. Taking the list triggers not only a number of deadly traps within the Temple/complex, but also spawns several powerful True Sith projections infused with raw Force energy, feeding off the power invested in the planet/temple.
-Party fights off projections and traps, gets back to base where Neta and Elara suggest information warfare and assassinating True Sith contacts, spreading info about the Sith over secure and unsecure channels while forming assassination teams to go after sith contacts. This period of time could last anywhere between a month to six months. I'd figure it would go for a bit longer, seeing as with the slow elimination of contacts, more and more would be persuaded to join their cause.

I feel like I'm missing something...doesn't Bracknell make an appearance?

Yeah, I think Bracknell was going to somehow run into them there to spawn 'the mom talk' thing with Ari and Bol during the ambush on the Sith Homeworld once they got back....but other than that I think you've got everything else spot on! XD *checks own notes* yeeep, can't see anything else glaringly obvious that's missing so let's roll with that and see how it unfolds and go from there once we reach the information warfare/assassination part? :3

Alright, so

Act II thoughts:

-Yay for love! I'm going to assume that they're going to be learning how to...well, be a couple, right? I think Taris would be the perfect place for them to go through the initial stages of "teehee, we're in love!" (or something like that xD). Spend some time with parents helping out around the settlement, having time to just...exist. I'd say two or three months of this would be enough? Obviously skip forward in time unless you'd like to slow it down a bit.

-After this recovery period, we talked about Renso contacting them, urging them back deeper into Wild Space to train with him. I'd assume that Renso would do this because he
-Senses he's about to die and wants to pass on his teachings to the youngsters

OR/AND

-Senses a looming threat that Yerbol and Aria will need to be strong enough to face.

Wouldn't mind if we combined the two. Renso's death would precipitate an easier transition into Yerbol and Aria not only attempting to convince the Council of Elders(?) to form a new academy, but also empower them with new knowledge. They would be heralds of a "new era" of using the Force.

Moving on from the training, then, should we introduce that ancient species? If so, I'd love to work on a brand new species...maybe a blend of two? Or humanoid like creatures? Maybe ancient descendants of the Chiss? What do you think?
