"My name is Gin master Roshi, I must say that your students were very impressive in the preliminary rounds. With some cool costumes you all could make excellent heroes like me"

"They better be impressive!" He angrily exclaimed, as he climbed off the table, and back into his own seat. He acted as if nothing had happened. "They were trained by the greatest, after all." He stroked his ego, as he started to chuckle. "Heroes are people who protect the little guys, you don't need to have a flashy costume to do that." Master Roshi explained, shaking his head. 'Besides, the ladies don't go for guys with capes. Even I know that!' The old man revealed his true reasoning within his head, as he slowly nodded in agreement with himself.

Kiro scooted his chair over a bit to give room for Gin, as Shin began to explain his story.

"But one day a man using techniques from the Crane hermit school challenged him, It was a close battle and my Master looked like he won he had the man begging on his knees but as soon as my master showed mercy he was killed," Shin said as he clenched his hand while looking down revisiting the harsh memories. "I didn't even get see his face," Shin said as anger began to be herd in his tone. "So i came here to find the man who murdered him!" Shin yelled but began to cool down as he saw the waitress coming back with the food. "I'll tell you what happens next, but for now i'm staving!" Shin yelled as he grabbed his chopped sticks and began eating through multiple plates of food at once.

"Wait, boy!" Master Roshi exclaimed, as the young boy had caught the master's attention once the Crane School had been mentioned. "You must have heard that Shen and his gang were going to compete in the tournament, but I assure you, you won't find the man you're looking for here." Roshi assured Shin, as he took a deep breath before beginning to explain.

"Alright, let's dig in!" Kiro exclaimed once the waitress had brought the numerous bowls and plates out for them all. He immediately began to tear into a bowl of rice, quickly chowing things down, almost seemingly racing Shin.

"Listen to me, you little brats!" Roshi angrily shouted at them, as he slammed his fists down on the table. "I have heard rumors of Shen, the instructor of the Crane School, having a younger brother," he started again once things had calmed down a bit. "trained in the way of the Crane School, the brother grew up to become a dangerous mercenary. Charging ten billion zeni, per kill, for his expert services. I am certain this is the man you are searching for. Your master must have been quite the fighter, with quite the enemies, for someone to hire such a man to kill him." Master Roshi continued, sounding quite serious, as he took a sip of the water the waitress had gave him. Since he wasn't a fighter (or so they thought), he couldn't really get anything else without paying for it. "I'm sorry for your loss, son, but revenge is not the answer. Going up against someone like that man will only get you killed." He explained to the boy. "How is that suppose to honor his memory!?" He exclaimed, standing up from his chair quite abruptly, as Shin's story hit close to home for Master Roshi. An evil man had also taken away his own master.

Shin looked at the old man and thought about his wise words," You're right master Roshi getting revenge is not the answer even if he is here or not, but the whole year he was gone i wasn't actually planning on getting revenge," Shin said to the old man starting to dig around in his shirt to pull out a brown pouch. Shin unwrapped the pouch and pulled out a small round crystal like orange object with one red star. the object fit right in his hand(dun dun dun it's the 1 star dragon ball). "Years before my Master pasted away he told me the magical powers of these balls, "Shin explained as he held out the ball for everyone to see. "He called it a dragon ball he said in his younger years he set on a journey to find all of them 7 of them and he said when he gathered them all and a mystical dragon came out to grant him any wish," Shin said. "And his wish... was for a son," Shin said as he shed a tear. "This ball is the only thing I have of him left and i plan to find the rest of them and wish him back to life," Shin said as he whipped his eyes and began to smile. "I plan to after the tournament to look for the rest of them, but it may take forever to find them," Shin said," But I don't care."

"Maybe when we're done training with Roshi, we could help you," Akita offered. She didn't realize that Shin had gone through such heartache with his Master who was like his father. She personally really didn't know her parents, but knew from talking to others and reading books that it was one of the worst things on earth to lose a parent. Then she wondered how they would find the six other Dragon Balls when there were so many places to look. "Don't worry, it'll be a lot easier with four people," she said, more trying to assure herself than him. She wondered how powerful the Dragon Balls really were and if they really did work, let alone could bring someone back to life. Then she wondered if they could regather them to ask about her origin. She really wasn't sure who her parents were and just knew that she had grown up in an orphanage since she was small until she ran away and began training with Master Roshi. No one really wanted her because, well, she was a little green girl. She didn't fit in families even though her attitude wasn't different from a human's. Then again, she didn't remember having many "interviews" with parents looking to adopt. This always saddened her, and slowly fueled a fury she preferred to keep shoved down. She clenched her fists under the table as she promised to Shin, "Yeah, I'll help you get the Dragon Balls no matter what!"

Ally realized Roshi didn't have any food, so she pushed her bowl over to him and nodded, knowing he would understand what she was doing. She wasn't going to fight, so she didn't need any of the energy. Upon hearing Shin's story she was moved off of her chair right into Gin's arms. His father-figure was dead and now he had to find Dragon Balls to wish him back to life. When Akita offered help, Ally nodded in agreement. She would help the boy get the Dragon Balls, especially if it meant he would get his family back.

"And his wish... was for a son,"

Master Roshi childishly pushed Ally's bowl back to her, as he took a sip of his water. "Yes, yes. I believe I heard a rumor about those same balls from a while back." Master Roshi looked off into space, as he tried to recall the story. "The Legend, as I was told, goes something like this. In the beginning there was only one Dragon Ball. It was huge. I mean REALLY huge, it had to be. It held all of the mystical energies of the Universe." He began explaining, drawing a huge circle with his hand to only begin to describe the ball. "An ancient tribe discovered it, and was inspired by its magnificent power. They built a shrine around it, and protected the orb by placing it in the mouth of a giant Dragon statue, said to be its eternal guardian. You should have seen the detail on this thing, it was INCREDIBLE, scales made of Ruby, teeth of pearl—speaking of pearl, they say there was this one native girl- yes, well, I suppose that might be a story for another day." He laughed awkwardly, as he caught a glimpse of the kids' focused and curious faces. "The tribe enjoyed years of prosperity until one day, evil paid a visit to the village in the form of a band of thieves. These agents of Darkness stormed the temple in an attempt to steal the Dragon Ball for their own selfish gain. They were shocked to discover the true power of the Ball. To ensure such an attack never happened again, the Dragon Ball was divided into seven smaller orbs, and scattered across the globe. Separately, the Dragon Balls were useless, but when all seven were united, then a single voice could summon the Eternal Dragon for one wish, and one wish only. Some wishes were pure, but others were tainted by blind ambition. This led to pain and suffering as an unjust few wished for power and dominion over mankind. But as the story goes there will one day come a hero who will use the Dragon Balls for goodness, and bring peace and unity to the world once more." He gasped for air, after explaining the long story. "As I said, those balls are all over the world! Many people waste their whole lives looking for the legendary orbs." He sighed, as he leaned in to get a closer look at the ball Shaz had already collected, they sure were beautiful.

"All that power in just seven of these balls, huh?" Kiro murmured, as he leaned in close as well, catching a glance of his own reflection in the shiny ball. "It probably would take a long time to find all seven. Maybe if we all looked really hard! You have to find those balls, Shin! For your dad!" Kiro exclaimed, sounding quite optimistic about such a search. He was actually pretty terrified at the thought of going on a search around the world, but his friends are what brought him bravery.

Shin was thankful to see all his friends on board to help him out in his journey. "Thanks guys you guys are the best!" Shin yelled as he began fell a bit tired after master Roshi's history lesson. Shin yawned and looked over to see what time it was seeing it was 1:05 pm. "Wow it's looks like we should get going," Shin suggested with a small laugh.

Saitama sitting a couple of tables away couldn't help himself listening into the conversation about the balls. When Saitama was listening into master Roshi's story it reminded him of his grade school years when he sat in class and listened to the teacher while dozing off so Saitama did just that tilting his head over as he began to snore and a snot bubble began to come out of his nose.

Gin
World Martial Arts Tournament

Gin listened to them talk about the dragon balls and at first he was fascinated, then he felt a little strange about the idea of wishing people back to life. With a wish like that, Gin could bring so many innocents back to life, but is it truly right to interrupt the balance of life and death. Maybe with a wish he could have no crime on earth, but then Gin thought of how wrong it would be to change people's thoughts and nature without their consent.

"This wish business can be a very delicate matter, I personally wouldn't wish for anything that would have very far reaching effects. I think wishing your master back is fine, but we should also try to not get into the habit of relying on the dragon balls to solve every problem that comes our way, at school they taught me that every positive action can have a negative reaction as well. I will help with the search for these dragon balls, but we have to be careful, every villain that I have fought would commit genocides just for the chance to have a wish from the dragon" he said to them with a serious tone to his voice, which was rare since he was cheerful most of the time and that emphasized just how serious he was about this idea.

"If I had then I would wish for a massive amusement park and arcade" he said with a grin, trying to change the mood.

"Most definitely, that much power could be very deadly if it were in the wrong hands. Most men could only ever dream about wishing for their own selfish ideas." Master Roshi agreed, as he finished his glass of water.

"What would you wish for, Master Roshi?" Kiro snickered, he was well aware of the master's perverted personality, and could only imagine what Roshi's heart would truly desire if he had the power to choose a single wish.

'Yes, if I had those balls, what would I wish for?' He questioned himself long and hard, as he thought of an answer for Kiro's question. "I would wish for..." He began to imagine himself surrounded by beautiful women, each one of them gladly willing to do whatever he wanted them to. Blood suddenly shot out from both of his nostrils, as he was thrown backwards, slamming his head against the wall. "Yes, yes!" He exclaimed, unknowingly out loud, as he slid along the wall, and onto the floor (with the chair he's still sitting in). He awkwardly stared back at everyone at the table, as he quickly stood up, straightening his glasses, and wiping his nose with a tissue from his pocket. He always carried a box of tissues in his jacket pocket for times like these. "Oh, yes, look at the time." He tried to change the subject, as he heard Shin's suggestion. "You guys don't want to be late, now do you?! You should hurry over to wherever your supposed to meet!" He exclaimed, as he proceeded to carefully dust off his nice dress pants, slightly stained with blood. "I'll try and go find a good place to watch your fights." He lied, as he gave one last nod to the group. "I wish you all good luck." With that, Master Roshi turned around, and began to walk out of the hall.

"Wait, I'll come with you. I'm not fighting in the tournament either, remember?" Ally reminded him, obviously teasing him, as she was already certain he was going off to change into his alter ego, Jackie Chun.

Dozens of beads of sweat poured down the turtle hermit's face, as he tried to think of another excuse to get away. "You know, that water really moved through the ol' digestive track. I'm going back to the restroom, I'll meet you in the stands." He lied once more, not even turning to face the woman. She'd see right through his lie if he did so! Roshi quickly sped off, hoping to leave before Ally could suggest herself waiting outside the men's bathroom. 'I'll just tell her I got lost in the crowd. Yes, that's perfect! You're a genius, Roshi!' He patted himself on the back, as he already began to decide what he'd say once he never showed up to meet Ally.

'Master Roshi's really powerful, but he sure is weird.' Kiro thought to himself, as he watched the man speed off. The boy looked up at the clock, all the talk about the dragon ball had swept his mind away from the tournament. Now that things were inching closer, fear seemed to swallow Kiro up, as he felt like his heart had stopped beating. All of his fights thus far had been easy, but as he saw with Ally, it was just because he got lucky. He could have easily fought someone like Jackie Chun, and lost in the first round of the preliminaries. If these fighters made it all the way to the quarter-finals, Kiro was sure that no matter who he fought, it was sure to be a tough battle. "M-Me and you, Akita! We'll wipe the floor with the rest of these guys!" He exclaimed, with a not-so-genuine laugh, as he made a silly face at both Gin and Shaz. They seemed like pretty nice people, but he had to stick with his training partner.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(I'm going to skip to them all being in the room where Majin Eve already is. The temple behind the main stage. XD)

The announcer walked into the building, as he carefully counted the individuals standing and conversing in the room. "One, two.." He mumbled, as he pointed over to Eno and Samu. "Three, four, five, six..." The man continued, as he pointed to Kiro, Akita, Gin, and Shin. "Seven..." He pointed over to Majin Eve. "And eight." He sighed in relief, as Jackie Chun had just entered the room from the back entrance.
"Now, can I have your attention please?" The announcer yelled out for the groups, as he carefully held a clipboard under his shoulder. "I need you all here at the front!" He informed them, as everyone lined up in front of him.

Two people suddenly wheeled a whiteboard directly behind the referee, as an empty (as in no names had been written down on it yet) bracket had been drawn. He took a wooden pointer off the shelf of the board, as he pointed to the bracket. "You'll be drawing lots to determine your opponents, and the order of the fights. So come up when you're called." He explained, as he looked down at his clipboard. One of the men who wheeled over the whiteboard returned on the scene, now holding a wooden box, similar to the box they used to determine the preliminary fights. "Hmm, so your name is..." He looked down at the board, as he called out the first name. "Eno?"

Eno simply nodded his head, as he approached the man holding the box. He carefully dug his hand inside the box to reach for a slip of paper.

"Akita..." Kiro nudged her arm with his elbow. "Look at the symbol on his chest." He whispered, as he nodded his head off in Eno's direction. It read 'CRANE' in Japanese. The young man had to be a student of Master Roshi's rival! His training had to be just as difficult as theirs if Eno was able to make it all the way to the quarter-finals.

"It's an eight." Eno calmly informed, as he looked up at the referee for further instruction.

"Uh-.." The referee trailed off, as he got lost in Eno's uncomfortable gaze. He definitely didn't look like the type of guy he would want to fight. "Right! Let's see here," He turned his attention to the board, as he sat down his pointer, and picked up a marker laying on the shelf. "I guess that puts you in fight number four." He informed Eno, as he wrote the boy's name down under the eighth line.

"Now," He looked back to his clipboard. "Jackie Chun?" He called, as the old master approached to pull out his number. "Alright, you chose number six," he confirmed, looking at the man's paper, as he turned to write it down on the board. "That puts you in fight number three." He informed Chun, along with the rest of the group, as he wrote 'Jackie Chun' under the sixth line.

"Mr. Gin?" He called out for the hero.

Gin
World Martial Arts Tournament

Gin just gave a smile when Kiro boastfully claimed that him and his training partner were going to easily win against their opponents. Such over confidence could lead to massive disappointment, Gin thought to himself and a powerful gust of wind blew inside the building, which was impossible to happen in doors. He was ready for a hard fight and he hoped that his opponents were as well.

It was now time to draw their numbers to see who would be fighting who and Gin was a little disappointed to not be fighting Eno, but he was sure that his opponent would offer a great challenge. He walked over when the announcer called his name and he pulled out a number.

"I got three" he said to the ref.

The announcer quickly scribbled him in. "Alright, that's fight number two..." He trailed off, as he scribbled the name down. He returned to the group, as he looked down at his clipboard to find the next name. "Kiro?" He called for.

"Here!" Kiro exclaimed, as he dug in the box for what would hopefully be another lucky number. He pulled out the slip, as his face turned pale white once he read his number. The paper slipped right in between his fingers, and slowly floated to the floor.

The announcer leaned over to read the number on the ground. "Alright, number seven, then." He confirmed to the group, as he scribbled Kiro's name down on the board. "That puts you in fight number four, with Eno." He informed the boy.

"Wh-What!?" Kiro exclaimed, as he stared at the board in disbelief. He thought about asking for a re-pick, but decided against it, this was his chance! To make his master proud! His legs shook uncontrollably, as he went back to his place beside Akita. Kiro tried his best to look as calm as possible, but it wasn't really all that convincing. Anyone could tell that he was extremely nervous.

Eno smirked, as he watched his opponent shiver in fear. He was glad he'd get to crush one of the Turtle's pupils early on. And the best part of it all, was that the boy's master would have a front row seat to the action; Eno turned his head over to look at the calm Jackie Chun.

"Shine?" He called for the next fighter, as he misread the name on his clipboard.

Shin began to look around to see if there was anyone who went by the name of "Shine". That sounds close to my name but it may be a mistake. Shin thought

"Umm Shine...." The Announcer scratched his head and looked to his clip board. "Did I make a mistake," The Announcer said under his breath.

"Do you mean Shin?" Shin questioned. "If so that would be me," Shin said and then pointed at himself.

"Oh sorry Shin not Shine my apologies," The Announcer said a he crossed out the "e" in "Shine". "Please come up and take a number out the box," The Announcer said.

"Okay," Shin said with a smile as we ran up to the box. Shin reached his hand all the was down to the bottom of the box and was moving his hand a round a bit while sticking his tongue. Shin was taking a usually long time to pick one. Shin turned around to the announcer. "I only take one right?" Shin asked with a smile.

the announcer fell over at the ridiculous questions. Was this kid not paying attention to the contestants that went before him The Announcer thought. "Yes only one Shin," The Announcer replied with a the smile.

"Okay," Shin said as he finally picked one out. Shin pulled out the number one. "Hey I got my favorite number!" Shin yelled as he jumped up and down.

"So that puts you in the first fight," The Announcer said as began to write down on his board. "And next to come up," The Announcer paused as he squinted at the name. "Aaa...Akita ah yes Akita may you please come up?" The Announcer said.

Saitama walked into the crowd. "Watch out old man coming through!" Saitama yelled as he had Master Roshi's glasses and a fake mustache and goatee. he was pushing people to the side with his cane so he could get a good look up front. Hmm this better be worth it old man Roshi Saitama thought as the sun glared off his sunglasses.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*Umm flashback*

Saitama watched as Master Roshi was zooming to the bathroom he dropped a "suspicions" magazine on the floor. Saitama picked it up. " I must return this to it's right full owner it what a hero would do," Saitama explained as he rushed into the bathroom. "Excuse me sir you dro..." Saitama stopped as he watched the old man putting on a wig. "Wait your...Master Roshi and Jackie?" Saitama said as he looked at the man.

"Shhshhh!" Master Roshi shushed having a finger over his mouth. "My students can't find out," Master Roshi explained. Master Roshi then saw the magazine in Saitama hand "That's mine," He snatched it out of his hands. "I wasn't finished reading it," Roshi said as he looked at Saitama's bald head and began brewing and idea. Master Roshi you really are a genius Roshi though to himself giving a nod to himself. "Say aren't you that young man Saitama I interviewed 10 years ago.... but back then you had hair," Master Roshi said. "But no matter I have a plan for you and there will be zeni for it," Roshi said trying to persuade Saitama giving him a nudge with a elbow.

Saitama need the money so nodded to agreeing to hear Roshi's plan.

Akita looked at Kiro with pity, but tried not to let it show. "Eno's an arrogant jerk. Don't worry, Kiro, you can kick his Crane butt."

When her name was called she walked up and pulled the number four. "Fight number two will be Gin versus Akita," the announcer said and Akita walked back to Kiro. Akita remembered the boy about her age from the dining hall. She didn't know his fighting style well, except that he danced and played music. She wondered how she could fight someone like that. She hoped he would take their fight seriously. When the two made eye contact, Akita have him a nod of acknowledgement and a smile. She was excited for their fight.

"Samu!" the announcer called and Samu waddled up to the basket. He pulled up the number two, wagged his tail heavily, and handed the number to the announcer. "The first fight will be Shin versus Samu!" Samu went back to Eno, tail still rapidly wagging, and said, "Did you hear that? In fighting the Turtles' friend! "And lastly, we have Majin Eve." He looked right at the pink girl, knowing that she had to be the one written on the paper, as the girl was the only one yet to be called.

"That puts you on the other side of the bracket from me. So just remember who you're representing, you now have no excuse to lose any of the fights leading to the finals." He stared down at the wolf-man, reminding him that he held all of the school's honor on his back. If Samu, or even Eno lost a single match, their master would be unforgiving. It would completely tarnish the great reputation the school currently held.

"R-Right." Kiro nodded slowly. "And then you and me! We're going to face off in the finals." He added seemingly very confident once again, as he started to chuckle a bit (genuine this time). This was the only thing they had been thinking about the last several months. Kiro against Akita, the epic showdown to determine the champion of the world. Just envisioning such an occurrence made him smile. Even if Eno was scary, Kiro had to beat him! For Master Roshi's sake, and for Akita's as well! He'd meet her in the finals no matter what! "What do you think about Gin? Do you think you'll win? He is a superhero, after all." Kiro reminded her, as he stared at the back of Gin's cape. In Kiro's mind, superheroes were on a totally different playing field than simple martial artists like himself. They were supposed to be practically invincible. Little did Kiro know just how high up on the ladder he and his friends actually were.

"So, you didn't wimp out after all, you turtle-head." A figure laughed from behind the disguised Saitama, as he pushed passed the crowd to approach the man. It was Master Shen, the teacher of both Samu and Eno! "Where are your defeated pupils?" The old man questioned, looking around the crowd for someone shamefully wearing the turtle hermit gi. "Don't tell me they actually made it to the quarter-finals. They must have gotten lucky, huh?" He laughed, as he then began to look at Master Roshi with quite the perplexity. His old rival almost looked younger, scrawnier, and weaker than usual. He didn't bring anything up, but simply continued to stare onward.

Shin looked over at his up coming opponent Samu. "Hey Kiro it looks like we both get to fight crane students," Shin said as he patted him on the back. Shin gave him a thumps up "We can take them," Shin said with a laugh trying to help out his friend. Shin was well aware how strong their fighting spirit were he could feel them Shin knew that none of these battles were going to be easy but Shin excepted the challenge.

Saitama began to sweat as thought of something master Roshi would say in this situation. Saitama began to cough as he tried to do his best Roshi impression. "Well old pal of course my students made it past the preliminaries they've been though some hard training, but only one didn't make it but that's life for yah hehe!," Saitama said as he still looked forward hoping he doesn't see through the disguise. "So how bout after all this we go get a drink and catch Up," Saitama voiced cracked as. "Sorry I'm coming down with something," Saitama said as he began to cough some more to sell his charade.

Majin Eve

"AHH!"

Majin Eve jolted awake from the wall she was resting against, her eye's looking around as if for danger. Her breathing was rapid for a few second before it slowed down, a confused look took over as she rubbed her forehead with her right arm to find she was sweating.

"... was that a dream? it was so... horrible..."

She said to herself as she stood up, only to lean against the wall she was resting against, tears forming at the corners of her eyes. Eve had decided to have a short nap before the finals began, she was a little shaken up from her encounter with Eno but had just shrugged it off, but now, she wasn't sure what to think. Eve looked at her hands for a moment, flexing them opened and closed before she rubbed her eyes clean of tears.

".... I guess that guy really got to me, heh-heh..."

Eve said with a small chuckle, then she clenched her right hand closed tight as she smiled.

"I'll just have to get him back for that!"

Time went by and Eve spent it doing little warm up stretches, soon the other fighters had arrived and everyone was called to pick there numbers, then she was called. Eve walked up to the Announcer and happily took her paper, she smiled as she held it out for the Announcer to see her number, she waited for him to nod in reply as she walked back near the other fighters, but kept her distance.

"Number five, alright..." The announcer confirmed, as he wrote her name on the fifth line. "That puts you in round three, with Jackie Chun." He informed.

"What's that!?" Jackie Chun exclaimed, as he inched just a bit closer, cupping his hand behind his ear. "Who's my opponent!?" He laughed, inching just a bit farther towards the announcer.

"Oh, I apologize, sir. I said you and Majin Eve will be fighting in the third fight." The announcer repeated, assuming that the old man was simply hard of hearing.

"That's what I thought you said!" The old master began to laugh uncontrollably, as he tried to contain himself from jumping straight through the ceiling out of pure excitement. "You young people really know how to spoil an old man..." He whispered, Chun wrapped his arm around the announcer, as he admired Eve from afar.

"Sir, I had no part in choosing who you would end up fighting. It was purely random." The announcer explained, almost angrily, as he pushed Jackie Chun off of him. "Ehem." The announcer awkwardly coughed, as he dusted off his pants before continuing on. "This will be single elimination, in a full regulation-sized arena. You lose if you fall outside of the ring, stay down for ten counts, or give up. But poking in the eyes," he pointed to both of his eyes, which were hidden away by his sunglasses. "or hitting in the private parts is not allowed!" He further explained, gesturing to his own groin. "Just stay here, and I'll come back when it's time." With that, he excused himself from the group, and proceeded outside.

"Drinks!?" Shen angrily shouted. "The last thing I want to do is go out in public and be seen with your stupid face! I'm embarrassed you and I even trained under the same master!" He continued on his rant, but quickly cut things short, as he noticed the crowd began to hush down a bit. Shen looked up to see that a blonde announcer was approaching the stage.

"Now, ladies and gentlemen," he exclaimed once he reached the center, now easily seen by most people, holding his microphone close to his face. "are you ready!?" He asked, while already knowing what the response was going to be.

The crowd went wild, throwing numerous hats and caps in the air, screaming at the top of their lungs, showing that they were indeed prepared.

"That's right, people! It's time for the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament!" He continued to explain, as the crowd only grew louder with anticipation.

"Okay, and here are the big match-ups for the tournament's first round..." He trailed off, attempting to keep everyone on the edge of their seats. "The first match, Shine versus Samu!" He revealed. "Second match, Gin versus Akita!" The announcer continued on. "Fight three, Majin Eve versus Jackie Chun!" The man explained. "And match four, Kiro versus Eno!" He ended.

Kiro gulped, sticking his head just outside the temple's entrance, as he got a good look at the stage, as well as the intimidating crowd, just as his name was revealed.

"The first match between Shin and Samu will begin momentarily, so don't go to the lemonade stand!" The announcer warned the crowd in a failed attempt at comedy. "Before we get things fired up, let me remind you that this year's winner will receive a prize of 500,000 zeni! With that said, let's welcome the esteemed director of the tournament who has a few words of wisdom to start this baby off."

An extremely old dog-man passed by Kiro, as he climbed onto the stage.

"Please, go ahead, sir." The announcer whispered to the dog-man, as he passed him the microphone.

The old man took the microphone, and walked a few paces forward, to make sure everyone heard his wise words.

The whole crowd went dead silent, eager to listen to whatever the director had to say.

"Ehem..." He mumbled into the microphone, as he looked all around the audience, making sure everyone was paying attention. "Ruff!" He barked, as it echoed throughout the crowd. The director handed the microphone back to the announcer, never taking his eyes off of the crowd.

"I-Isn't that profound!?" The announcer exclaimed, as if trying to tell the audience to clap and cheer.

The entire crowd stayed silent, not really sure what to make of things, as one man awkwardly coughed.

"And now, the first match of the tournament!" The announcer quickly shifted gears before anyone got too bored, as a gong was rang by two of the helpers in the distance. "Will the contestants please come done!?" He exclaimed, as he looked back at the temple's entrance.

The crowd went wild once again, shrugging off the lame speech that was given, as they continued to cheer madly in anticipation of the two great fighters.

"I think that means you, Shin." Kiro explained, as he looked back at his new friend, turning his attention away from the crowd on the outside. Him and Shin were in pretty similar situations. They both had to fight two really strong Crane fighters. "Go get 'em, man!" He laughed, as he patted Shin on the back.

"Finish him off quickly, there's no reason to stall his defeat." Eno reminded Samu, the quicker the better, he always thought. There was a lot riding on this fight, as their Master Shen would be watching. If Samu lost, disgracing their school as fighters who could be defeated by children, Shen could very well kill the man-wolf. Eno would just say that he was worried about the school's reputation, but he wouldn't want to see his furry partner end up dying, even if it were justified.

"Yeah I guess so," Shin replied to Kiro. "Well wish me luck!" Shin yelled with the smile As he ran and jumped over the sign in front of the entrance of the ring and onto the ring. "Hey everybody my names Shin!" Shin yelled as he began waving to random strangers in the crowed. Shin began to calm down ad bit a began to get more serious as he saw his opponent walking through the entrance.

"That's the boy that bet me in the preliminaries," Saitama-Roshi said under his breath. Saitama stroked his fake goatee as was focused looking outward his beard came off, but we quickly fixed he looked around to see if anyone saw thankfully no one was paying attention to him. "Whow you got to be more careful" Saitama thought as he whipped some sweat of his forehead.

"I will, Eno, I'll give this fight my all!" Samu responded to Eno. Samu walked onto the ring when his name was called, tail and head held high. He couldn't wait to show this boy what he was made of and bared his teeth, letting out a low growl. Generally Samu liked to psych out his opponent and intimidate them before the battle, just to put them off balance. He wasn't sure it would work on Shin, so he continued to sheath and unsheath his claws, making sure they caught the sunlight each time. He wondered if he would have to use the Dodon Ray during the fight, but doubted it especially since this pathetic kid was a friend of the Turtles. He wanted to bark, but knew this would be rude as the announcer was speaking.
