[IC] A Hero Tale {Complete}

[Jensoman]

Jenso smiled as his attack succeeded and the clone's feet melted. 'Wow, it worked! Wait...it can't stand the heat? or..' Jenso thought, and dashed at the clone. He ignored Ada's comment, which only spurred him on to keep fighting. He punched at the clone with his left hand as flames bursted out of his left arm, trying to launch a flame dragon punch at it's head.

The clone looked up at Jenso and reeled its fist back, coating it in flames that resembled the head of a dragon. Its action was quick, reacting to Jenso's speed with identical motions. It flung its fist right down at Jenso's up-ward swing. What would happen when the force of the two punches collided?

[Jensoman]

Jenso's eyes widened as the clone punched. He moved his left leg further back, in order to brace for the impact of the blow. Rather then meeting the clone's fist head-on however, he opened the palm of his hand and moved it under the clone's fist, cancelling Jenso's dragon punch technique. He attempted to grab it's wrist and tried to absorb the flames that it's fist was coated with. He braced for the pain that the flames would inflict upon him. He aimed to pull the clone closer to himself by using it's own forward momentum against it in the process, and aimed a punch at it's face once more with his right arm which was coated in flames this time. He launched another flame dragon punch at it.

The clones flames bathed Jenso's hand in fire, overcoming his abilities for a moment and burning his entire arm. But moments later, the disappeared, and the clone was trapped. Jenso's followup strike hit the clone head-on, turning its head into a splatter of goo and shot out backwards. The clone didn't move afterwards.

Ada grit her teeth and began checking her nails for dirt. "Oh, did you think it was over?"

The clone's head began to regrow, and its feet began to solidify, again. It reached forwards with its free and for Jenso's throat, its hand covered in blue flames.

"5 minutes."

[Jensoman]

Jenso's eyes widened as the clone's hand moved at him. He released the clone's hand and aimed the palms of his hands at the clone. He tried to launch a torrent of flames at it, in an attempt to melt it completely.

This time the Clone didn't care. It reached forward like it had planned, and took hold of Jenso's face. The flames that Jenso launched began to melt his body away, but the blue flames around the clones hand began to spread and consume Jenso's head and neck area.

[Jensoman]

Jenso thrusted his left fist at the clone's wrist in an attempt to get the clone to loosen his grip for him to break free and get away. He tried to jump further away from the clone and continue his assault with flames.

Jenso's punch shattered the clone's wrist, but it quickly mended itself in a manner of seconds. Ada glared at Jenso angrily as he shrugged off the serious amount of damage to his face and kissed her teeth. The clone's fire disappeared, and Jenso's attack completely engulfed him, but he ran through the flames. Although shadow Jenso's body was melting away, it was not losing form. It jumped towards Jenso head-first, and reeled its fist back, aiming to knock Jenso right off his feet with an attack aimed at his upper body.

[Jensoman]

Jenso smirked as the clone attacked again. "Wow, you're pretty fun to fight!" he said in a cheerful tone, doing his best to ignore the pain from the burn wounds that had been inflicted on his face. In truth, the clone was a tough opponent and he took the battle very seriously, but he didn't want Ada to know. As the clone leaped at him, he quickly side-stepped further to the right to avoid the clone's assault, and aimed a kick at the left side of it's head while it was in mid-air.

Ada cringed at Jenso's words, and in that moment, Jenso's kick sent the clone flying across the room. The magical witch's puddle began to bubble, and she turned to face Jenso with a stern glance. "4 minutes, you incompetent whelp," she growled, raising her hand.

From where the clone landed, dust rose, but it stood up straight and began walking towards Jenso with its entire body coated in blue flames. The clone stared Jenso down and dashed towards him, conjuring two blue fireballs, one in each hand, and throwing them at Jenso, right before launching a flaming kick towards his lower body.

[Jensoman]

Jenso glared at the incoming clone. He tried to move out of the way of the first incoming fireball by stepping further to the left, and aimed the palm of his right hand at the second fireball in an attempt to absorb it. He tried to dodge the incoming flame kick by moving further to the right, and aimed a low-sweeping kick at the clone's foot that was still on the ground with his left foot. He coated his body in flames as well, in an attempt to lessen the damage from the flames around the clone's foot if they were to reach him.

The second fireball turned orange in Jenso's hand, but nearly exploded, burning the entire length of his arm. But the clone's kick swooped safely over his head, and Jenso easily knocked him right off his feet with his own kick. The clone twisted helplessly in the air, but showed no signs of dispelling its flames.

[Jensoman]

Jenso grit his teeth in pain for a moment, but he tried to not make Ada notice. 'Dang...that didn't feel good..' He thought. Jenso stretched out both of his arms and opened the palms of his hands in order to absorb the flames around the clone. He tried to focus on absorbing the flames near it's head first, and prepared to follow up by punching at it's head with his left hand.

The flames once again turned orange and covered Jenso's hands in even deeper burned before disappearing, but as his punched forward, the clone with flying and toppling against the ground like a ragdoll, ending up several feet away from him, limp. Ada took a step forward and clenched her fist. The puddle around her bubbled heavily and changed from a thick purple ooze, to a thinner consistency. "You won't get far like that. That clone cannot be killed! You're fighting a pointless battle, I'm not even exerting myself!" Ada shouted, sounding slightly out of character despite her recent playful attitude. She took another step forward, and the clone flipped itself up onto its feet, and got into a fighting stance. "That clone's determination dwarfs all else, it has nothing to follow but my orders! It does not falter before anyone, not even a stupid, powerless little golden boy!" Ada paused and smiled beneath her mask.

"3 minutes until global extinction!"

[Jensoman]

Jenso's eyes narrowed at Ada. 'Her puddle is getting weaker...is it because she's putting too much of her focus at me and the clone? Or because she's getting upset?' He thought, glaring at the clone. 'Either way, I can't let her notice..' Jenso shrugged. "Hey, I'm having a good time so.." He responded with a smirk. He began to position himself closer to Ada, but still not within her puddle. He kept looking at the clone mainly as he did, and made it look like he was up-sizing it. He got in a combat stance himself. "Come on buddy, let's keep going!"

Ada's eyes widened and he posture lost its strength. Her mouth hung open behind a thin layer of black fabric, but closed tightly. Ada's teeth clacked and her eyes narrowed. In a split second, she'd lost every last shred of interest she'd had in this silly game. Jenso's clone rushed him head on as he neared Ada, her puddle still vanishing. The clone dashed at him and reeled its arm back. Blue flames surrounded it as it dashed forward. They took the shape of a dragon, and with a mighty swing, the clone attempted to punch Jenso's life out of him.

'Flame Dragon Punch'

[Jensoman]

Jenso's eyes widened as the clone dashed at him. 'Shit..! That's...an actual flame dragon punch!' He thought, gritting his teeth. "Fine...EAT THIS!!" He shouted, feigning as if he was about to clash with the clone. Suddenly a surge of power rushed through him as he dashed out of the incoming clone's way, and moved straight at Ada. "FLAME DRAGON PUNCH!!" He shouted, launching a flame dragon punch of his own at her stomach.

The clone passed him up and its technique fizzled out. The clone's body suddenly melted away, and Ada's pool rose to stop Jenso's technique. She smiled, but as Jenso's flaming fist neared her ooze, it dissipated instantly, and he tore through the wall of purple magic. Ada's eyes widened as Jenso's blow struck her dead on. The woman flew backwards, and he puddle disappeared as she tumbled across the floor with a burning hole in her dress, just above her waist.

[Jensoman]

Jenso smiled as he managed to strike Ada. "YEAH!! I DID IT!" He shouted, and dashed over at Ada. He kept his guard up, though. 'I could try to knock her out...if I do that, the meteors might not explode..but there's no way to be sure..' He thought, looking down at Ada. "Hey, did I win?" He asked with a smirk. He hoped Ada would keep her word.

Ada didn't move at first. Her body was strewn out, with her long purple hair extended over her face, and her arms stretched to cover both of her eye. They didn't seem to be open, and she didn't seem to be moving much, but her chest still pulsated slowly. She was breathing, if only barely. It seemed there was no way for her to carry out her magic now. The doors where Jenso entered the room, however, opened, and the giant globe that revealed the meteors was showing no signs of magic. In fact, the meteors seemed to vanish in four puffs of crumbling dust moments afterwards.
