Contracts are handle either by info-gathering contacting you if you have one open in the underground, or by sending the contract to an email address that was put out in the underground and so far has defied all attempts to break the heavy encryption surrounding it. You'll be notified of acceptance within 1-2 days of sending.

Especially since the collider is likely only used sparingly. It's probably been at least a month.

And if it were a suspected residual electromagnetic pulse, it'd be from a different direction than the elevator, most likely. Plus, since it's essentially working like a Sonar burst, she'd be able to centralize the origin point to him.

That's the two sided face of radar. You detect things, sure. But you also reveal your location as a result.

It's how we in the USAF attack SAM sites. XD

@Masaki HarunaHe's sneaking down to mess with Kotori, and to help take suspicion away from himself, he fucked with all of the facilities systems, most notably having porn play on the big screens, having his Hand of God persona take credit for it, and making it really, really hard to turn off the big screens for about 20 mins. Basically, the institute going to have quite a bothersome bit of scandal buzzing around for a while.

Yeah, it's actually part of a specific type of mission that pilots fly. They call it the "wild weasel" mission.

It's a long story, but what happens is two planes (usually F-16s, I got to fly backseat in one once over Mt. McKinley in Alaska. I'd kill to do it again. Did all kinds of acrobatics, flew faster than the speed of sound, flew 500 feet off the ground at .9 mach, it was intense!) Fly towards a suspected SAM site. The lead plane gets targeted by the SAM site and gets shot at and bails to try and avoid getting shot down.

His partner retroactively calculates where the radar burst is coming from and bombs the site while it's targeting his wingman by figuring out the origin point of the radar.

Very neat, huh?

That strategy is where the YGBSM acronym comes from. Or "You Gotta Be Shittin' Me". The electronic warfare officer's reaction when told he's going to be riding backseat into an ordeal where he's intentionally trying to get shot at by a SAM, or Surface-to-Air missile.

Because the missiles are radar guided, they're hard to avoid. So most pilots consider it borderline suicide and go in expecting at least one of them is going to get shot down.
