~Fox~

The fox frowned in thought, casting a glance over towards LeClothe. The fake kitten leaned into the pettings, but it didn't seem to do much to make the kitten less nervous from an outsiders perspective. After a few seconds, she grabbed her 'Master's hand tightly as one of her ears twitched nervously.

"M-master...I'm not...s-sure that's a good idea." She fidgeted nervously. "I'd...feel much more comfortable with you." Before Sel could reply though, a very familiar voice would make itself known in the mage's head.

"Need I remind you we're in public, m~a~s~t~e~r~." The foxes voice definitely carried a condescending and teasing tone to it. "You wouldn't want some onlooker to mistake you for upsetting this adorable little kitten, would you? Or maybe you don't care if you're the type of person that's perceived to make adorable little familiars cry and be uncomfortable. Heh, now that would be funny."

"Master," The fox spoke aloud again, her overly sweet voice easily masking whatever other conversation she was having silently with the mage. She cast another glance over to LeClothe. "Please?"

~Miren~

"W-well, if another customer comes in I'll have to help them," Miren smiled. "But looking and touching is free as long as you don't damage the books. If you want to buy one or rent one, that will cost you." Miren looked over to the counter for a few seconds before adding. "Just...don't do it that often. I have to make a living too, hehe." She chuckled nervously.

"Anyways, books regarding spirits, specifically spirits from your homeland should be around here. I have materials organized by region, and then topic, then sorted alphabetically by author so I think that should make things simple enough."

~Livia~

Livia shook her head with an amused smile. Well, she might as well invite the girl herself then. Livia returned to her desk, taking out a blank piece of writing paper and wrote a brief note. She handed it off to one of her spirits, who quickly left and went to find its intended target. Not long after, there was a knock at the headmistress' study's door and in typical fashion, Gwynn opened the door and walked in. The hydra shoved her way past Gwynn and bolted into the room, making an immediate beeline right for where Fia was working.

"Oho, you're nothing if not swift." Livia chuckled.

"Heh, you offered to take that brat off my hands for a bit. 'Course I'm gonna take ya up that offer." Gwynn chuckled. "You be good for Livia, 'aight Ritsa? I gotta do some stuff around town and stop 'em fools that calls themselves my crew from gettin' up to no good. I'll be back this afternoon, alright?"

"Fia!~" Ritsa seemed completely unaware of what was being said to her, causing Gwynn to chuckle lightly before waving bye and walking out the door. "Let's play, lets play!"

Selvina glared slightly as the cat was obviously putting on a fake but admittedly cute performance. The mage let out a sigh, realizing that it was far easier to be nice to the fox in this form despite the mental message she was just receiving. "Oh my little bashful kitten, you'd rather just have me help?" Scratches behind the ear. "I'm sure we can figure it out on our own. Can you direct us to your changing stalls?" The pair quickly found themselves directed by Le Clothe to a pair of the stalls, where Selvina was given quick instructions on how to put the costume on Sly and handed over the clothes before closing the door behind them as he walked away.

Of course, the mage was enjoying this entire act and put on a smile as she decided to keep it up. Besides, it was possible someone would still hear them outside the changing room. "Now be a good kitten and let me put this on you, alright Sly?" Quite frankly, the mage was a little excited to see the fox both in this form and her original one wearing this cute little costume.

The cat was forced to jump back as Lady Lightsword let out another swing - and would have lost her balance if it wasn't for her natural sense of agility. A frown crossed her face - she had really been hoping to catch the knightess of guard sufficiently, but apparently the paladin was both well trained and talented. Maoin pushed a little sweat off her brow with her sleeve before taking another step back.

It was Luna's turn to initiate, at least. The cat let out a few breaths as she began to remember how exhausting fighting truly could be. If it hadn't been for her mistress' intense training regimen, she would have already been wheezing for breath due to her naturally light constitution.

Her eyes began to drift around as she waited for the inevitable confrontation, trying to come up with some sort of plan of attack.

Fia practically jumped up slightly as the door slammed open and the sound of a childish hydra approached - she contemplated saying that she still had paperwork to do, but it was rather obvious that Livia had both intended for this to happen and Ritsa wouldn't allow her to without nigh constant pestering. With a sigh, the crimson haired girl stood up and winced slightly as she was still sore from yesterday. "... one second ..." Fia hadn't been expecting to have fun - no, be bothered - with Ritsa so soon and found herself stretching out her limbs. "... Ritsa ... are you staying for the ... festival ...?" It wasn't so much trying to ask the girl to be her date as a simple question of curiosity from the phoenix, although it was rather apparent how an outsider could misinterpret that.

Eventually Fia stood up, ready for the playtime that would ensue following whatever response Ritsa gave out.

A smile crossed Meowka's face as she realized her mistress was just trying to give her more gifts worthy of such a grand familiar, and she jumped off the shelf and landed in front of the archwizard and dropped her clothing to the floor obediently before grabbing the offered underwear and slipping on the simpler garment.

The cat made a somewhat seductive pose, looking over her shoulder at the mage with her knees bent just slightly and her butt sticking out a little in mistress Katherine's directions. "Oh, so Mistress Katherine plays in the morning!" The prowler of the night attempted to sound as seductive as possible. "Sure you want me to keep these on?" After all, she had been naked in front of this woman before, and while still bent over the cat put one of her fingers around the sides of the panties and pushed them down just slightly while looking at Mistress Katherine with big eyes.

"Let's not keep this up much longer. Or, perhaps, we won't keep this up much longer." Luna said, taking note of Maoin's condition. She's exagerrated her movements a bit, but she hadn't felt any more tired from the effort. Maoin on the other hand, was looking tired. Luna decided that now was the time to push for it. She put her sword into a doublehanded grip and charged at the cat. She was ready to finish this in a few strikes. All she needed was one good solid hit from the butt of her sword. She wasn't letting Maoin escape this time.

Eith and Kozue Komichi

"Oh, very well." Kozue said, looking at the organization of books. It was definitely organized as the rabbit girl had said. "Many thanks Ina...Ba?" Well, the word easily described the girl in front of her. She was a rabbit. "You're helping me very much and I'm here without your name." She added, looking the rabbit in the eyes.

Katherine Lindall

"Are you some kind of idiot." Katherine said, hiding a slight look of disgust. This cat didn't quite understand what she was doing, did she? "Stop that, I'm being serious here." Katherine added as she stood and moved the cat's arms up as if she were on a cross like some martyrful prophet. "I'm just measuring you. And you shouldn't try such a thing in this unsightly cloth." She took the measurements as quickly as she could, having her doll make notes on her designs. "Done. Now put these on." The Puppetmaster commanded as she tossed a dress back at the cat. It would fit as the same one as yesterday and was not nearly as comfortable as the sleepwear. "We don't need people's eyes on you if you leave the house. You are mine after all."

As they made their way to the stalls, the fake kitten made a display of smiling, and making her ears twitch in happiness at not having someone other than her apparent master dress her. Man, this was too easy. And she was also going to be having Sel dress her instead of the other way around. Now this was great. Despite the article of clothing being rather...degrading, it was still funny to see the little mage have to dress her.

And you can bet her fluffy tails she was going to make this as difficult as possible.

"Oh, thank you master."

"Heh, now this is funny isn't it? The master catering to the familiar." The foxes' voice chimed inside of Sel's head. "Maybe you'll make a good little slave for this one, hoho?~"

~Miren~

"A-ah! Sorry, it's Miren. Just, Miren." She replied to Kouze when she asked her name. "Ehe, and don't mention it. That's what I'm here for. If you need any help don't hesitate to ask me. I'll be here all day since I well, live here. Or upstairs, rather, hehe." Miren gave Kozue a friendly smile. With that, Miren would leave Kozue alone for awhile and go check on Eith.

"So...erm," Miren approached her friend with a somewhat nervous smile. "Not your friend? She seems nice, though."

~Livia~

"Festival yes!~" Ritsa brightly replied. "Together?" The question was simple enough, and the Hydra probably wouldn't ask again if Fia said no, but it'd also break the poor girls heart since she thought Fia was absolutely the best thing in the world next to Gwynn and Eva.

"Well, someone seems to like you, Fia." Livia chuckled.

Sel's eyes narrowed as the fox mentioned that, and Sly would feel a swat against her bottom. Nothing gruesome, but more simply to catch her attention. "Now stop standing there and drop your clothes, silly kitten." The mage gave a smile in return as she observed the articles of clothing and listened to the instructions Le Clothe gave her repeat in her mind. "I'll put this on you the first time, but I expect you to do it afterwards."

The fox would probably be surprised at how little Selvina seemed to mind the entire comment as a whole - or at least how she chose to respond to it. The fox had probably shapeshifted a lot in the past, meaning that she probably legitimately wasn't used to wearing this. In addition ... the fox-cat would feel her mage's lips get close to her ear as she let out a whisper. "I'm just surprised about how badly you want my hands all over you suddenly. Is it that time of the year?" A grin crossed her lips as the mage started to undo the first article of clothing, letting it land against the ground.

Maoin watched the charge as it occurred, gulping. She was tired - but she wasn't exhausted. Her eyes darted around for a moment before she decided to make her choice.

She tossed another dagger at the Knight's face when she started to get to speed, hoping the momentum would force a block rather than a dodge and make Luna lean backwards off balance just a bit. Then she dodged to the left with her cat like agility out of Luna's path, sending a leg as hard as she possibly could as a kick against the back Lady Luna's legs, hoping she'd fall on her backside against the grass.

Either way, the front of her leg would likely have a bruise from encountering a fully armored knight, however.

Fia blinked once or twice as she was asked out to the festival. From her brief readings asking someone to go with you to a festival was a ... romantic endeavor, right? And the way the headmistress chuckled seemed to confirm that. She still wasn't exactly sure how romance and love were supposed to work, but apparently they could also be related to the 'fun' she had seen Livia and Cynthia have together earlier in the office.

She wasn't really sure if Ritsa had meant for it to be like that, but the hydra had surprised her earlier ... maybe this whole childlike persona was just an act or only part of her personality?

A blush spread across the phoenix's cheeks as the realization suddenly hit her of why Ritsa was always trying to spend time with her. She didn't really have any feelings for the hydra in turn, but if she said no Livia would likely be incredibly disappointed. And well Ritsa would be as sad as well, wouldn't she be? Bashfully the phoenix responded as she twirled her piece of hair. "... s-sure ..."

Meowka frowned slightly as the archiwizard decided to be no fun, but obediently raised her arms when pressed to do so and allowed for the older woman to use her measuring tape thingy. She looked over it curiously, but the serious language that her new mistress seemed to use made it obvious that now probably wasn't the best time to start asking those sorts of questions. She put the dress on as instructed, though was a little surprised as the woman once again asserted her ownership over her pet. It wasn't quite as comfortable, but at least a fitted one was being made at the moment.

She had said no to playing around with others, hadn't she? At least it wasn't springtime yet, and in truth being this woman's pet had been largely a profitable arrangement. So as usual, she replied with a grin as she sat herself down in the lap of the dollmaster. "Mistress, I understand you're the jealous sort alright? I'll be sure to accommodate your lack of confidence!" The cat shook her butt a little playfully before curling up slightly and resting her head against the other woman's chest. It likely wouldn't be difficult for her owner to work around her like this, and besides it was comfortable here. Meowka rubbed her head up in down in a demand for pets.

"Anyways, when are you bringing any of your playmates in? Or is everyone rejecting my poor archwizard?" She hadn't seen them at all, after all.

Another thrown weapon? Well, that itself was easy enough. She didn't have a shield or anything and attempting to parry it in midair was a bit risky, so the only option was to dodge. Luna jumped out to her left. She could roll to her feet again hopefully in enough to to nullfy any advantage Maoin would have. The problem came with Maoin dashing around to do something. The cat hit her foot hard enough to throw her off her mark a bit. She expected a roll forward and a spin around, but instead she made a thump on the ground and slid for a small bit. She adjusted quickly and rose to her feet quickly. "Geez, wasn't completely expecting that. I'll keep it in mind."

Eith and Kozue Komichi

"You have my thanks, Miren." Kozue said as she went to study the books.

Eith made herself comfortable on a chair, just watching Kozue and Miren converse about. . . Whatever. Eith didn't particularly care. Or perhaps she just couldn't. Regardless, Miren eventually walked over and talked to her. "Nice? I don't think I've noticed. That one typically just glares at me and calls me a demon or something." Not that it was untrue. Her roots were apparently in Hell, or so Myrilla had said. She couldn't really know with this cap on her thought process. "Not that it bothers me. I don't think I could."

Katherine Lindall

"I wouldn't say jealous. Selfish maybe. What's mine is mine after all." Katherine said, practically ignoring the cat rubbing her head into her chest. "I'm surprised you think I've had time the last day or two to actually do anything aside take care of you. Besides, two of them show up when they please and the other I've yet to introduce you to yet. Well, not that I don't have more, but they seem to be the 'best'." Katherine said, wondering if there were many other people really.

~Fox~

The fox growled at the unwelcome touch, having to restrain herself from lashing out at Sel. Couldn't go around destroying her persona here. She was the cute, innocent little kitten here right now. If she appeared as anything else, the other humans might get suspicious.

"Aha...master expects me to wear such a silly thing," The fox replied, in her usual much to sweet voice.
"Master really does have a funny sense of humor." And quite suddenly, the fox stomped her foot on top of Sel's at the mention of her hands going anywhere other than the clothes. "Ah, silly me...I apologize master, this one is a clumsy little kitten." She continued in her sweet voice. "But I get so...nervous when talking about such things with you, master. It would be a shame if I accidentally hurt you because of this one's clumsiness..."

The wording and intent was likely quite clear, but in case it wasn't.

"Meaning, touch anywhere other than the clothes and I'll burn your soul to cinders."

~Miren~

"I-I see..." Miren frowned. Kozue did seem like a perfectly nice person, if a little on the strict side but...maybe she was wrong. Livia had often told her she was far too trusting of others. Well...unless proven otherwise, she always just liked to think of people as good, deep down. For now though, she had customers to attend to and she was highly curious about what Kozue might find. Time passed in the store quickly enough. Business was starting to pick up a little from yesterday. A few students wandered in looking for books that might not be in the library at the school - and asking if she had a number of rarer ones for sale.

Kozue would discover a number of mentioned methods about how to possibly revive a dead spirit. Holy water, injecting it with large amounts of magic. Most though, were just temporary solutions, designed to give a ghost or spirit more room to exist without some sort of anchor. A few books made note that it may be possible to return a spirit to a physical form via possession, of some sort, or possibly somehow restoring its original body through various rituals that weren't exactly holy in origin, as long as she had a piece of the original.

What Kozue would do though, was ultimately up to her.

~Ritsa~

The widest grin Ritsa had worn yet spread across her face as Fia showed interest in going with her to the festival. Gwynn would be there too, but with Fia there it'd be perfect! Well, actually, if other mom was there it'd be perfect but she was busy with something called 'Trade Routes' and Teleportation stuff and running a kingdom while taking care of her father or something.

Too complicated for little baby hydras.

Without warning though, the Hydra latched onto Fia and gave her a quick, but firm hug.

"Hehe, yay!" She let go of the bird quickly, remembering she didn't like prolonged contact.
"Lets play?" She asked again. It seemed like she wanted Fia to choose a different game this time. If Fia couldn't think of anything, the Hydra would probably be placated with another game of tag.

Sel face turned red as suddenly her face was filled with an expression of pain, forcing herself to resist the urge to strangle the fox-girl in front of her. After a second she calmed down, but a smirk crossed her face as she suddenly realized it: the fox only responded that way when she was unable to respond otherwise. "It's your uniform, Sly, and a clumsy kitten like yourself needs to wear it during their training, alright?"

The mage kept any sort of unnecessary contact to a minimum however as she continued to help Sly into the cute little servant's uniform, being careful to use the pins to tie the thick bow around her neck as loosely as possible with her help. Selvina opened the door to the stall and kneeled down in front of the cat and gave her a quick few pats on the head. "There we go, that wasn't so bad, was it? Let's go back out where you'll thank Le Clothe for his services, alright? I still need to get some things for myself, so I expect you to be a good little kitten and stay right there, alright?" The mage pointed to a spot nearby the exit to the stall before approaching the counter and trying to order her previous items once again from Le Clothe. "If she's a bad kitten just let me know, alright? Although I don't think the shy thing be a problem."

Selvina gave Le Clothe a smile before entering the stall herself, carrying the new items in with her.

The kitten used her agility to spin her way back onto her feet, frowning as it seemed Luna was once again impervious to her attacks. Maoin frowned slightly, trying to figure out how to handle this situation.

She couldn't let this duel last forever, so she picked up her sword and charged at the paladin, swinging her sword directly at the knight's with one hand in hopes of removing both of them from the fight and reaching for her own dagger with the other hand, hoping to pull it out and start jabbing it into whatever parts of Luna weren't armored. If it took more than a couple of seconds, she'd try to use one of Land Sorcha's grapples to grapple Lady Lightsword and knock her feet from beneath her so she could execute her opponent on the ground where it would be easier to stab her.

The phoenix let out a sigh of relief as Ritsa seemed placated with their exchange and found herself enjoying the brief hug the hydra provided in spite of herself. She wasn't trapped, and that made her feel more comfortable with it.

Although trying to think up of a game seemed a little strange to her. What games DID kids play aside from chase eachother - the phoenix never really had played games, and she wasn't going to destroy her lungs again by chasing the hydra fruitlessly again. She closed her eyes, trying to think of something.

Maybe ... oh yes! She had dreamed of hunting fish out of a river once with spears! A smile crossed Fia's face as she realized that meant she didn't need to run anymore. "... spear fishing ... there's a convenient stream nearby that has a few fishes for us ..." Hopefully the hydra would consider that to be satisfactory. Of course, that meant the two of them would have to leave the room. And get spears.

The phoenix looked towards Livia expectantly, asking both for permission and the objects needed to hunt with.

Meowka pouted as she wasn't given the attention that any cat undoubtedly deserved. She didn't mind - of course not! She was a prowler of the knight and didn't need some woman to pet her! Her head went still though as she closed her eyes again - this spot was warm and seemed perfect for a cat nap. The cat wrapped her arms around Mistress Katherine's neck, allowing her breathing to slow as she didn't really think about what the woman had said to her.

Selfish? Someone was possessive, at least ... her breathing slowed down, and if the teacher allowed it the cat would be gone to the realm of sleep pretty quickly.

"Time's up." Luna said as she swung her sword heavily and knocked Maoin's weapon out of her hands. The momentary shock was all Luna needed to put her sword up to the cat's neck, though didn't actually touch it in case she harmed her. "Checkmate. Firmer grip on your weapon, more over-all confidence. You got better at that towards the end though." Luna finished as she removed her sword and sheathed it. "Not bad and it more than helped warm me up Maoin." She added, her stoic face changing back into it's more happy form.

Katherine Lindall

"So why did you pick this. . . What I can only assume is an incredibly uncomfortable position to sleep in?" Katherine had to ask. The cat slowly but steadily got to this point. It was odd in it's own right honestly. "If you've nothing better to do than sleep, you should go get food. The dolls will guide you and everything, you just need to help carry stuff." She explained again.

~Fox~

Hrmph. Not so bad she said. She looked like a goddamn glorified fetish object. Patience, though. That was all she needed. Her chance to make Sel look like an utter fool would come soon enough. She just needed to get away from Sel for a tiny bit, and be alone with a few others...and it seemed her chance would come much sooner than she thought.

Heh.

Fox watched quietly as Sel walked back into the stalls, standing where she was told to wait. After a few seconds passed, she started fidgeting uncomfortably with the bow around her neck with a clearly uncomfortable expression. She glanced over to LeClothe, clearly something was troubling the fox-kitten as she attempted to loosen the bow. Seemingly deciding on something after a few seconds, the kitten walked over to the shop keeper.

"E-erm, p-pardon the intrusion, sir." She quietly said, light steps walking over. Light enough that Sel likely wouldn't be able to hear. "But erm, would you mind loosening this bow a little? It's a bit...uncomfortable."

If LeClothe did...he'd be in for quite the unpleasant looking surprise as he helped with the bow. A thick, black, ring of charred skin with painful looking black veins that seemed to pulse slightly, eventually fading and disappearing into the rest of her body. It would likely be somewhat visible from a distance, too. Whether he did or not he would though, would be up to him. The fox continued speaking regardless.

"M-aster, Ah, uhm, M-mistress can be rather...impatient with this clumsy kitten..." The implication there, would have been quite clear to anyone with half a brain.

~Ritsa~

At the mention of fish, Ritsa's eyes widened and gave Fia a brighter grin than she had before. Fishing - now that was something the Hydra could do really well! In fact, that was what she usually did when she was bored...it was also the most easiest way for her to get food. She didn't know what a 'Spear' was exactly, but she didn't need one.

"Well, don't mind me dear." Livia chuckled. "Go have fun with your friend. Its not good to stay cooped up inside all day."

Before Fia would even get a chance to respond, Ritsa grabbed the phoenix by the hand and started pulling her along.

"Fishing! Come on, pretty Fia!" It seemed if Fia wanted spears she'd have to slow the Hydra down and get them herself. Also she should probably lead the way since Ritsa had no idea where she was going.

~Sorcha~

Sorcha had been watching the sparring match quietly from the sidelines. Well. The kitten's Training was coming along nicely, she supposed. She guessed she expected too much out of the Kitten fighting Luna right now...still, Maoin did well. The dragon grinned, clapping from where she stood.

"You did extremely well, Maoin." Sorcha replied, walking over to the two of them and giving her a pat on the head with her free hand. "Go take a rest, hmm? I'll beat up this funny little Knight now~" The dragon turned to Luna, giving her an excited grin. "To make things more fair, I won't be using any of my lightning. Just physical abilities and I'll try not to use my wings too much." Flapping her wings and jumping a yard or so back, the dragon put a bit of distance between the two of them as she flourished her Glaive.

"Now, Come then my Knight." Her grin faded into a more stoic expression. "Let this dragon test your skills." She held the Glaive with both hands, ready for Luna to make her move.

Le Clothe raised an eyebrow as the cat who looked exactly like one of his customers the previous day and after pouting about not wanting help with clothes had suddenly changed their mind. This entire trip for these two customers had been suspicious initially because of the shapeshifting, but their behavior was just odd.

Still though he decided to help his customer and by the gods. As his hands loosened the bow just slightly he suddenly felt sick, although a second glance confirmed that yes, it was in fact there.

But why would have the mage invited her into the stall if this was her doing? What was going on here? Le Clothe hadn't let go of the ribbon, and in fact loosened it so much the entire neck was visible as it had practically fallen off. "... Stay. You in the stalls. Get out."

Selvina left the stalls in a hurry, walking out with her robes obviously having been put on in a hurry. As Le Clothe looked back towards the kitten's neck and noticed it was cleared of injury the man turned between the two of them.

"Alright. I'm not sure exactly what's going on here, but I find it EXTREMELY odd that a cat that literally walked in here yesterday is suddenly with a new master and a complete personality change. Your familiar either has a twin and one of you is able to deceive the eye."

Selvina seemed confused, then suddenly frightened as the man pulled out a wand and directed it at her. She didn't have spells prepared or anything, though the other hand remained around Sly's collar to prevent her from doing anything either.

"I have two questions for you, and you better answer them honestly or I'm going to be very unhappy." Sel gulped but nodded. "Are you Prince Swen?"

Sel nodded twice in affirmation after a moment's hesitation, eyes watering slightly at the unexpected chaos. "Your style is the exact same, and the amount of money you bring is the exact same. Even the signs of wear are similar across your clothes. I don't know why, but if you are trying to disguise yourself for some reason I advise you get a new wardrobe entirely along with a better fashion sense." The mage looked down slightly, but nodded. For a second she seemed to calm down, but Le Clothe pushed their wand out further and watched as Sel crumpled a bit more.

"What do you know about the injury to her neck? The big, black, veiny mess that looks like someone poured acid on it for fun."

Sel mumbled out everything she knew, about the fact that it hurt there when touched to Sly not being able to tell her and having never seen any sort of injury their either. Le Clothe lifted their wand, the magierprinz finally relaxing and taking a look around the room nervously. As the mage's eyes drifted up to Sly's clean neck though, she seemed confused.

"Wha- what are you talking about? Sly, what's going on?" Sel had a couple of tears going down her cheeks, but hadn't put the entire story together yet due to the shock.

Maoin let out a yelp as a painful sensation ran up her hand when the sword was jolted out of it suddenly, clamoring to the ground. Though her complaint ended as the knight raised the tip of her sword threateningly against her throat, the cat gulping instinctively in nervousness and her eyes looking at the edge until it was withdrawn. "... T-thanks La-Lady Lightsword. A-Always glad to be of s-service." It was obvious she was a little afraid and her ears were dropped down - improved by the end of the fight? It felt like she'd been wrestling with a castle!

It seemed that the cat recovered mostly from her state though by the time Lady Sorcha arrived and patted her on the head. She'd done her best, hadn't she? Maoin walked alone over to a nearby tree, hopping up to a comfortable branch and leaning against the trunk as she let her breaths flow in and out as she recovered from the duel.

Her eyes looked on with some concern, though she was more worried about the knightess getting injured or Lady Sorcha having one of her fits than anything else.

Fia watched herself being dragged out of the room, offering minimal protest - what was she going to do, break free from Ritsa? As they left the building the phoenix finally gathered herself up enough to walk alongside the hydra - it would be up to the other girl to let go though, so for now they were still holding hands.

"... Ritsa ... stream is that way ..." Fia's tone was still naturally quiet as always, but she gave the hydra a slight smile as she prepared to be hauled off again. For now, she was wondering what implement she'd use to hunt fish - it wasn't ass if there was a spear just laying around somewhere - perhaps a nice, sturdy, thin branch would serve the same purpose?

Meowka looked up into the mage's eyes. "It's warm." And put her head back down after declaring her simple statement of fact towards the other woman, although after a few second of thinking she realized that she was hungry as food was once again mentioned.

Well damn.

Food or sleep ...? It was a hard choice, but ... after a couple of seconds the Meowka growled at a pair of the dolls animalistic manner before rising from her seat with a stretch and putting the glare towards her new owner. "Fine. Lead the way, oh mighty dolls." She felt a little upset for being used in such a base manner, but sighed as she realized her owner wasn't the sort to just let her lounge around, was she?

"It hardly feels like a skill test without you using your everything Sorcha." Luna said. She had an idea to counter the dragons flying, though she had never really tested it before. But she's done such things in the past, so perhaps there was a chance "Though, just take it easy on your dragon breath so I don't get really crunchy?" Luna added, wondering what the dragon would say in response.

Katherine Lindall

"It's a good eperience for you." Katherine said as a trio of dolls looked at her. She just nodded at them and they got up from their seats and gathered around Meowka, poking at her leg telling her that she'd follow them. Another one walked across the floor with a small sack that had money in it. More than enough for food for the both of them. "The dolls will guide you where you need to go. Just be smart."

~Fox~

As soon as Sel exited the stalls, the fox feigned a small look of fear as she replaced the illusion. She stood there, seemingly stunned by what was happening. She remained quietly not moving an inch as LeClothe obviously grew suspicious of what was going on. All according to her plan. Hoho, yes, this was ever so delicious. The distrust, the utter chaos! Yes, yes! Feed her more of this you puny mortals. She had to stop herself from laughing.

...now that she had achieved her goals of thoroughly humiliating and making a mess of Sel, though, she was done. No need to oversell it.

"A-ah...uhm," She stuttered out, ignoring LeClothe's orders to stay put. "W-we should leave master, this one seems to have made a mess of things."

"I mean it, human. Leave with me or things are just going to likely get worse. If the straw-for-brains here stops you, I'll deal with him."

~Ritsa~

Upon being redirected, the Hydra immediately shifted gears and turned sharply - enough to leave a small imprint on the ground where her foot pivoted. With her usual energy she continued to run towards the stream, Fia being dragged behind her. It seemed that she was even more excited than normal. She didn't seem tow ant to let go of Fia's hand, either, but the phoenix wouldn't have to endure that much longer. As they arrived Ritsa came to a stop at the waters edge, finally releasing Fia.

"Hehe, water." Ritsa giggled happily. "Fish?" Ritsa seemed to be questioning how exactly Fia was planing on fishing.

~Sorcha~

Sorcha smirked.

"As it should be then, might knight." The dragon flourished her Glaive again, taking a more aggressive stance a she gazed at Luna. The reason she said she wasn't going to be using her wings was very simple. Not because she was planing on attacking from a distance...but because she could fly faster across the ground than she could run. The only warning Luna would have, was a mighty flap of the dragons wings as she launched herself forward at a speed towards Luna that a human likely never be able to match without the aid of magic.

A few feet before reaching Luna though, she spread her wings out, slowing down just enough as she came to a halt in front of the knight. Instead of opening up with her Glaive...she landed with her left side facing Luna, and aimed to slam her shoulder right into the Knights chest with full-force. If dodged, she'd follow up with a simple combo from her Glaive. She'd swing it from the right side, intending to catch Luna if she tried dodging to the side.

Selvina glowered her eyes as Sly suddenly began to speak, but didn't move towards the door until looking more intensely at Sly as some mental communication happened. Le Clothe was writing something behind the counter though and glancing upwards periodically, holding up a finger that caused the mage to pause in her tracks while he other hand was writing on something behind the counter. After shooting a curious glance and wiping her face off, the mage approached the counter as she was beckoned towards it by the merchant.

"Your receipt, you silly thing. Look, if you need that dress resized for any reason you know its only a small fee." Selvina blinked a couple of times, and as she looked down at the pair of receipts her eyes drifted over them for a while before nodding and giving her familiar a steely look as Le Clothe seemed to organize some papers behind the counter, a friendly smile running across his face as Sel packed the dress into a bag.

"No Sly, that is not how a familiar of mine is going to act - running away with their tail behind their legs due to a simple misunderstanding. I want you to thank Le Clothe for making your clothes and be sure to curtsy appropriately as you do so. You practiced this earlier, I'm sure you can do it right." Selvina offered a friendly smile that obviously was concealing some other emotion behind it, and Le Clothe looked on expectantly but generally neutrally.

Fia simply tried to keep up as she was dragged along by the hydra, hoping her hand would eventually recover from feeling like it was being torn out of its socket. As they arrived, the phoenix started breathing raggedly in an attempt to recover and leaned against a tree. "... second ..." Despite not having an extremely high level of endurance, Fia took only a minute to recover mostly from the ordeal. She looked around for a second, finding a relatively spear - like stick luckily laying nearby. After snapping off a couple of branches, she picked up the makeshift weapon and approached the water. "... so we try to ... stab them ..." The phoenix reached forward with her point and made a stab for where a fish was ... the jab mostly missed, the fish scurrying away quickly.

She gave a smile to Ritsa. "... will take ... several tries ..."

"Me? I'm always smart." The cat responded seriously before approaching the doorway. Good experience? What was she talking about. She just hoped that the wizard wasn't going to try and make her into a maid and just beginning here.

As she closed the door behind her after letting the following dolls through she looked at them curiously. "So like ... y'know ... take me where you need to go." She still hadn't figured out how exactly the layout of this town worked.

"Lucis Arma: Forma Murus" Luna said as she unsheathed her sword. A wall of light appeared in front of her just in time to hold Sorcha back slightly from her shoulder slam. It couldn't hold the entire force of Sorcha's assault, but softened it up enough. At this point, it'd be weak enough to return the attack in kind by slamming her own shoulder into Sorcha's. "You are pretty fast. As expected of my partner." A few ideas ran through her head. Something about quick beasts and ways to fight them. Perhaps a similar strategy would work against Sorcha.

The Dolls

The dolls practically sighed as the looked between themselves and then up to Meowka. They also looked between each other again as if conversing and then nodded. One looked back at Meowka and made a hand gesture to beckon her to follow them. They would have lead Meowka through the town and to a small grocer that had a little bit of everything. Again, all the dolls looked at Meowka and played a small game with their hands. . . Actually it doesn't even look like they could do much with them, but apparently they did. Two looked like they won and another looked down dejectedly. The two that won walked off towards corners of the store to grab some items, but the other walked over to Meowka and held it's arms up to be held by the cat.

~Fox~

"..." The fox simply stared at Sel before lowly growling. Which was really not something a cat should be capable of doing. The feline's normally timid visage contorted into a frown of annoyance as she spoke. "And if I refuse, master?" The fox replied as she reverted back to her true form. "I played the facade of that stupid feline for you and your perverted desires but I'm done with that." She gave LeClothe a small smirk with a quiet chuckle. "So easily manipulated...thank you for being an easy mark so I could teach this stupid mage a lesson about our relationship."

She turned back to Sel and gave her a cool glare. The maid uniform was likely not helping the intimidation, but that meant little when she meant every word she said.

"We will leave...or I will make you leave, mage. There is something I am going to discuss with you, and if you don't want to leave we'll just do it here in front of LeClothe...and if you try and give me an order to do it through whatever stupid contract you have," One of her ears twitched, seemingly in anticipation or excitement. A toothy grin formed on her face as she narrowed her eyes. "Heh...that will be the end of us in any capacity."

That, was most definitely a threat...and not an idle one, either.

~Ritsa~

Ritsa giggled childishly as she watched Fia retrieve a branch and attempt to use it to catch a fish.

"Silly pretty!" The Hydra laughed. "Watch, watch!" The Hydra seemed awfully confident in whatever method she was about to use to catch fish. She approached the edge of the stream confidently...before jumping into the air and belly-flopping into the middle of it, likely scaring away any of the fish that they could even attempt catching. A few moments passed before the Hydra sat back up, rubbing her forehead with a small grimace.

"Owie..." She complained. She seemed pretty confused as she looked down at the water. Ritsa seemed pretty disappointed that it was so shallow. She supposed she should have checked before diving in, but how can fish live in such shallow water? The fish back home would all die in such shallow water! She turned back and looked over at Fia with a small look of frustration.

Well.

She'd just have to figure this out...like all those other times. She stood up, and walked back over to Fia.

"...water is shallow."

~Sorcha~

Her ploy didn't work, as expected. She received Luna's own shoulder slam as gracefully as she could, unable to dodge completely but it seemed to barely even faze the dragon even if it made her lose her footing slightly. In extreme close quarters like this, her Glaive wasn't going to be entirely helpful...but that's what her free hand was for. And her fabulous wings, of course. She jumped backwards, twirling in an elegant manner as the backside of one of her wings would most likely at least clip Luna on the head hard enough to momentarily daze her if she didn't do something to block it.

Immediately upon landing a yard or so away, the dragon readied her Glaive.

"Oho, clever little knight, aren't you?" She chuckled, using her free hand to motion for Luna to have her turn in a little attack.

Le Clothe blinked once or twice, but didn't seem too surprised as the fox transformed and nodded their head instead, although by the end of her comments the merchant had a slight scowl on their face. "Pleasure doing business with you."

Sel on the other hand seemed upset and slightly confused that their game had come to an end. Isn't this what the fox had wanted to do - elaborate teasing and pranks? Perhaps she was a little angry though, as Le Clothe had made it obvious on the receipt what the fox's true intentions likely were.

The fox wanted to talk? Fine. The mage gave an apologetic bow towards the merchant before giving Sly a brief look of conformation and heading out of the building down to a quiet alleyway between two streets. It was occupied by an abandoned dog, but a quick look in their direction convinced them to scram before Selvina looked back towards Sly with an obvious mixture of both frustration and confusion, although she remained silent as she waited for the fox to speak first.

The phoenix giggled slightly as she looked over at the hydra. "... yes, the water is shallow Ritsa ..." For a couple of moments Fia wondered if this was just Ritsa being Ritsa or if this was a strange result of the way in which the other girl grew up. Either way, a smirk crossed her face as she made another jab at a nearby one, though once again the spear attack missed it was instead replaced with a slight frown.

Of course, she needed to be more patient and wait for the perfect moment. Even then, they were awfully good at speeding away from whatever was jabbing at them. It was survival after all.

"... Ritsa, here ..." Fia quickly found a similarly sized stick for the other girl and held it out with a grin.

Meowka watched them from the corner of the eye as they played their little game, eyeing the nearby area with a little bit of surprise. How ... how was there so much food? Of course she knew most people were able to afford to eat but this was a strange sight for the cat who used to live on the streets. Now? She seemed to live a strange life of quasi opulence.

Her eyes returned to the ground as she watched the three finish their little game, naturally a little curious as to how they were deciding the outcome. Eventually though one held out their arms as if they wished to be lifted. For a few minutes, Meowka simply stared at it in confusion. Wasn't the cat normally the one who was supposed to be picked up? Meowka was surprised to find her blood boiling slightly as once again memories of her comforting Ronat in her arms and looking untough to make her feel better flowed into her mind. Of course she hadn't been scared of the ravenous dogs!

As the doll continued to raise its arms though the prowler of the night let out a sigh. "Fine. I'm just glad to know that I'm the short straw." Seeming a little unsure, the cat picked up one of the dolls in both of her arms and made sure to provide support beneath the feet and easy access to her shoulder to be leaned on. She had always liked that, at least.

Luna held her arm up and it helped lessen the damage to her head from Sorcha's wing. "Want me to attack? Well, you can help me test a new idea." Luna sheathed her sword for the time being and started another chant. "Lucis Arma: Forma Arcus" With her words, a bow of light appeared in her hand. It was just as she imagined. An immitation of light that looked like a Longbow from back home. It was interesting thinking about it. "We English are pretty well known for our use of the Longbow. Some say it's indescriminate for the range it can be used at and the power behind the draw.

She plucked the "string" of it and then aimed at Sorcha. "It's been a while since I've shot a bow though." Luna said as she put her finger back on the string and pulled it. An arrow of light phased into existance on the bow. She then released it to see how fast it went and if Sorcha would dodge. It seemed to be as fast as a normal arrow at the least.

The Dolls

The doll poked at Meowka's cheek and then pointed over to a specific section. It obviously wanted her to go over there. If Meowka actually went over, she would notice something decent. Dried and Salted Fish. Something for her to snack on every now and then. They were in a sack and it looked like it would be something decent for the cat. Miss Lindall was a kind soul and lead the doll there for Meowka. Not that the cat would understand. The doll pointed at the sack for Meowka to pick up.

~Fox~

"Hm, frustrated master?" She chuckled as she walked into the alleyway. "Hilarious considering this one is much more frustrated with you, silly mage." She chuckled lightly as she started to promptly remove the servants dress. "Agh, such degrading wear. I can't stand it any longer. It's not even proper servants attire. Just something perverts like you like to dress your pets up in." The fox of course, didn't remove all of it. She didn't want to take the chance of retrieving her former clothes at the moment.

"Ahh, silly...annoying...stupid...mage!" She turned on her heels, nine black tails manifesting as she growled with annoyance. The air seemed oddly heavy, and there was the typical odd voice joining hers as she spoke when she was angry. For a few seconds, she simply glared at Sel, taking a few deep breaths before recomposing herself. A few of the tails disappeared and she sighed, one of her ears twitching in annoyance.

"This one apologizes. Ah, you annoyed me to the point where I almost showed you something unsightly." She chuckled, shrugging. "We need to talk, mage. It seems our little talk last night was fruitless, no? Or do you intend to use me in any way you want?" She studied Sel for a few moments before grinning and continuing. "Oh? What's that? You thought things were going well? you really are a fool, aren't you? You haven't even attempted to make things go well, have you? That attitude of yours makes me want to vomit and tear off that face of yours and feed it to a rabid Oni...so I will be blunt here, you rat. You don't trust me...and it infuriates me. Don't lie either, your entire body language and way you treat me says so." She moved closer to Sel, the fox glaring at the other woman.

"And before you say you have no reason to trust me, your reasons you spoke of last night are simply absurd. Kill you? I suppose I did attempt that, but I didn't hate you like I do now. We simply had conflicting goals and you were getting in the way of them. I am free, I have no reason to harm you...though you keep giving me multiple reasons every passing second...but I'm wasting my breath, aren't I? I don't expect your tiny peanut brain to understand, so I will put it simply. You don't trust me...and if you do not trust me, then I have no desire to be your servant so you will either let me go."

A toothy grin crept across her face as she continued.

"...or like I did in there, I will make your life a living hell. The only reason it didn't turn out worse is because I wasn't really trying. I simply did that to prove to you that I am perfectly capable of it, and yes, this is a threat." She gave Sel a pat on the side of her face before turning on her heels and walking a few steps away.

"Your call, my annoying master...choose wisely. I have friends aside from Ayumi, so you know." Friends that unlike this insufferable mage both trusted her and treated her better.

~Ritsa~

Ritsa took the stick, looking at it blankly for a few seconds. It looked awfully similar to the things those humans used toss at her when she was out hunting. They hurt...a lot. She looked back to Fia, a few different memories going through the girls head before she shook her head with a serious expression and confidently walked to the edge of the stream.

Right so...she should stab the fish the same way Fia was? The Hydra gave the water a few experimental jabs, causing the fish to momentarily scatter though it didn't take long for others to fill the space. It felt...odd, to be doing this to fish for once. Normally she just sort of swallowed the smaller fish whole. Stabbing them like this seemed especially cruel...since she had been on the receiving end on multiple occasions.

She glanced back to Fia, seeing what she'd do.

~Sorcha~

"Oh?" A new idea? What was her little knight planning? The dragon watched as she let the Knight do as she wanted. A bow? Now that was an interesting idea. The dragon grinned. Well now...this wouldn't be a fair fight if she could fight from range and she couldn't, was it? Ohoho. But she wasn't going to just start shooting lightning out of nowhere. She didn't want to harm Luna, and if she did use it it'd be incredibly disadvantageous to the knight.

As the knight pulled on the bow, the dragon crouched low to the ground and leaned forward. As the Knight released the string of the light bow, she shot forward, under the arrow and bolted for Luna once again.

Instead of going for a straight lunge however, the dragon came to a sudden halt in front of the knight, her feet making small indentations in the earth. Next, came a series of swift and fast blows from the dragon's halberd.

"Heh, that was a neat little trick, Luna. Got anything else in that pretty little head of yours?" She teasingly taunted.

Selvina watched with a little curiosity as the fox in front of her started to remove the only clothes she was wearing. Somehow, the mage didn't think the primary problem was related to this as Sly started out a long rant about her lifestyle with the angry extra voice interjecting once as she let forth a long string of insults sprinkled with some actual conversation among them. Pervert, annoying, commanding, frustrating, ... there we go, something about trust. That was the important part ... right? And a few threats.

From an academic standpoint, the fox needed a lesson in professionalism. From a personal standpoint Selvina had to stop herself from letting go her own long string of insults and accusations before finally getting to what she wanted to say. Of course the fox's threat was meaningless - if she had wanted to teleport back to the temple or her father's estate or any number of mages looking for a powerful familiar to hand her off to then her complaints would be over. Plenty of them would be willing to put the fox into her place, wouldn't they? Or simply lock her up again.

But that hadn't been the reason Selvina had rescued her. She wanted to prove to herself that she could take care of Sly and make her a better person without simply choosing to ignore the problem. Perhaps it was hard to trust the fox - especially when she was happy to be so insulting. In truth though, she hadn't done anything to really hurt her and she sensed through the bond that the black fox had truly been being honest when she wait this was simply a demonstration.

She also didn't want for Sly, her first familiar, to be a failure.

"Look, don't take this out on the uniform - it could be a useful disguise for you when you shapeshift at least." It didn't seem the noble really cared that much though since the cloth could largely be refunded and she had plenty of money anyways. She let out a sigh before continuing. "But trust? Fine - I'll admit I've been a little thin in that category. Your rampant insulting and obvious distaste for me haven't been helpful in handing it out though."

Now what?

"... but I do understand it must be infuriating to be forced to be by my side while I do not stand by yours ..." A slight gulp. "I, Selvina upon the honor of my name and my house promise to put my full efforts into trusting my familiar with my heart and will conduct our relationship in a manner indicating that you are worthy of my complete trust until proven otherwise." She meant it, of course. She wouldn't have sworn to her otherwise.

"... I'll have to get you something later, then ..." If she trusted Sly, she'd obviously have to receive the family crest. "Is ... is there anything else?"

Honestly, a nice, long massage and a well pampered meal sounded great before looking for more on the formorians.

Fia smiled as she nearly got one, then pouted slightly as the silly creature managed to slither away from her tip. The phoenix heard a few sloshes in the water nearby her and looked to check to see how Ritsa was doing.

Was Ritsa ... alright? Was she capable of not being incessantly bubbly at all times? For a couple of seconds the phoenix merely stared before asking her question somewhat nervously. "... Ritsa ...?" Fia wondered if the hydra had been overcome with a sudden illness from some mysterious source.

Hopefully she hadn't messed up. Of - Of course she didn't care about the annoying creature, but Livia would be disappointed, right!? And that was all she cared about!

Meowka glared in clear annoyance as she followed the pointing finger over to ... the cat let out a wide smile as she sniffed the air, dropping the doll as she picked up the large bag with both her arms and holding it close to her chest and licking her lips. Oh, she so badly wanted to take a bit or two from it ...

... a glance at the doll showed she probably wasn't supposed to do that though. The cat was clearly excited though, and gave the doll a slight smile but obviously wanted them to hurry up so she could enjoy her little treat.
