Never mind, it was just one of the chores I needed to do. I'll have one more post in before you go to sleep, maybe.

We can keep the scene going between just Meesei and Sabine if you want. It's either that or skipping to Sabine taking Meesei to the island with the dead dragon. She would probably be willing to do that after trying and failing to sleep for a few hours.

Hey everyone. This might be a question better served for the Off Topic board, but...well...I have a grammar question for those with a better education than me.

You see, after finishing my last post, I noticed a few of the words seemed very slightly incorrect and I didn't know why. After some investigation I was lead to learning the difference between intransitive verbs and transitive verbs.

Now, in most cases of grammar like this, I tend to have already learnt the pattern before I learn the rule. This was no exception but for a lovely quirk of English (that language we all LOVE): Not all verbs can be used as transitive and intransitive and there are sometimes separate words with equivalent meanings but are used only in transitive or intransitive cases.

The two examples in my post that caught my eye in the first place were: Rose/raised and laid/lied.

But I feel like I'm in a minefield right now, because I don't know if there are any other pairs of verbs like this with equivalent meanings and different transitivitudismivity.

Can anyone direct me to a list of these paired words for English? It's not a big deal but it would make my life slightly more comfortable.

And before you ask, yes, I've looked into what ambitransivity, di/tritransivity, valence, and labile verbs are. As I see it, they don't really help my specific situation right now.

Wait. Crap. In my tiredness I posted that question in the wrong thread...

Welp, unless you can help, you can disregard that, Elite :P

No worries. It's a small detail, in truth. One of the reasons I don't want to learn all the rules of the English language is so I don't get too nitpicky about stuff that no one else notices and transivity is honestly probably one of those things.

If I see a post, I do have a hard time not replying before going to sleep.

I think now, we can skip ahead to the meeting the next morning, if you like. All of the leadership would be there, likely along with the rest of the pack, Yerig, and Do'rhajul.

Sure thing. I'll skip in the next post.

Although, fortunately for your sleeping schedule, I'm going out to celebrate new years now. G'night!

I think the clans would use propylon chambers for much of their trade. With those, it would probably be quick and convenient.

I might have forgotten if they were made public. I thought the propylon chambers had been kept a secret?

At any rate, caravans could still be sent to the cities themselves for trade.

They were secret for a while, and still haven't been explicitly revealed to their allies, but once they were built and ready, all the clans started using them freely. So it didn't remain a secret among the lycan clans for long.

So, where would you like to skip to after these scenes? We can assume the rest of Sabine, Yerig, and Do'rhajul's scene is just background stuff.

I think that Meesei would like to speak to Lunise, then probably Marod. She would want to get them all together with the council before the feast. I can take us there if you like.

Quick question. Sorry, I didn't think of this until just now. Have Lunise and Meesei interacted since Sabine was captured?

If so, I imagine Lunise might have tried to pull some strings to help find where Do'rhajul's group might have gone before Sabine turned up again. It would have been a risk that Lunise would take, seeing Meesei so distraught.

I don't think Meesei would have had a chance to speak to Lunise about it. Had she remained captive for longer, perhaps, but Sabine freed herself too quickly.

Marod is going to ask for a detailed recount of matters with Do'rhajul, Sabine, and what the plan so far is for the invasion (without getting into the details of how much the Empire and Dominion are putting in). He'll also be curious about the Staff of Magnus and just how much Meesei has been making use of teleportation, including broaching the propylon networks if Meesei mentions them. He will not make demands, but it would be easily predictable that the Empire would want the knowledge.

I'm not sure whether or not you wanted to play all of that out, though. It'll mostly just be exchanging information. We can skip to the meeting if you like.

I think for the interest of time, I can skip past that bit.
